01:36-01:54.....Dallas' comments here make me extremely hopeful that _"Otherness"_ wasn't just a one-off and more Alexisonfire records will be coming down the pipeline in the years to come.
Because, I think we can all agree that the world is a better place when Alexisonfire is making music together!
George growing that hair out looks legit. Wish I could pull that off.
do it dude.
You for sure can pull it off.
Why you wanna pull a guys hair off ?
@@loopylou7813 😅👍
I grew mine for 2 years despite the hair line. Yolo.
Most underrated band, arguably, in the history of alternative music. Not sure who else could swing for that title, except for Thursday and Hurt (who are barely even known, let alone rated). Totally guts me out how many people I've spoken to who went to Slam Dunk and have literally no idea who AOF are, and didn't bother to watch them. They're so relevant to alternative music and emo/emo-adjacent music. Your favourite emo band's favourite emo band is AOF, no question. It's almost shocking to me also how many people know Dallas Green for C&C but haven't ever listened to AOF. How can you separate the two? If you travelled back in time and stopped this band from forming, the entire landscape of post-hardcore and alternative music would be completely different, and frankly, colourless.
Thursday was trash and we used to beat up those kids.
They were always such an underrated band growing up in the 2005 era remember seeing there first uk tour and it was incredible and city and colour never fail to disappoint either
I listen to alot of Metal,Punk and Alternative out of all the bands I love,Alexisonfire is one band I've been patiently waiting for new Material and Super stoked for these guys.
Love these guys SO much! Flew up from Miami to NY for their show in 2019 & now I’ll be flying to LA to see them in October! I’ll follow them around ANYWHERE.
So glad these guys are still putting out new music there was a long gap there for a while without any new songs. But so glad they’re still slugging it out. There was a slew of bands like this over the last 20 years but Alexisonfire Is definitely one of my favorites,
I highly agree boys. As a kid from your area who is now 35 and saw you live as his first concert in 2001, this album is by far the best. It just hits different and makes me so happy on many levels. Thank you boys.
One of the things I absolutely LOVE about them is the fact that despite their artistic progression and maturity at this point, this new record is 100% Alexisonfire, yet unique and different than anything they’ve made before. Very mature/bluesy vibe I get from some tracks on this album and I love that shit!!!!
@@vkolpdj exactly!!
Can’t wait to see ALEXISONFIRE in July 🧡🧡🧡🧡
When did Dallas become Jamie Hyneman?
I went to Warped Tour in Charlotte 04 and 05, but back then AOF were only on the north eastern legs around New York State and closer to the Canadian border. Never have gotten to see them live.
Dallas looks way older then what he is great to see them still going
that’s touring!
that’s touring!
Good interviewer!
One of the most annoying and awkward things about interviews like this: it seems like the interviewers intentionally don’t bring enough mics. It just adds such an awkward dynamic to the interview passing a single mic between band members. So dumb. Just bring enough mics.
so they have rob zombie and encino man in the band now?
I wonder why Dallas doesn't wear a wedding ring. I could have sworn he used to
I'm assuming George is no longer a firefighter with that hair?? :P
He is still a firefighter. I just watched a new interview where he said he just finished fighting a fire at 330 the morning of the interview

Fuck dallas is turning into a hipster varg vikernes...
hoooly crap how did these guys get so washed up so fast?
Since you thought of your opinion.
Yet here you are. On UA-cam. Watching videos of them explaining how their music is fabulous and making them millions.
And what are you doing that’s so amazing…?
I’m not the one bashing the band. I have claimed to have done anything.
Washed up? More like ripe AF!
