Step 1: get defeated the first time Step 2: spawn a darkside Step 3: reappear after a darkside is defeated Step 4: get defeated the second time Step 5: ... Step 6: *turn into a boat*
This song single-handedly was able to capture the feel of darkness as well as isolation. The song itself sounds somber and cold, and then erupts into anger. The chorus encapsulates the feeling of a place you shouldn't be , but you know you have to be. The whole piece says "this is it. This is the end." It's one of the greatest single boss theme that's stuck to me for going on two decades. It's the piece of media that is most memorable to me for the first game. The memories of getting here for the first time are priceless and irreplaceable.
it took me so long as a kid (I was 8) to beat his second phase, I only beat it when I figured out the usefulness of shortcuts and mapped cure to one of them so I could heal between the gaurdian grabbing you (I was young and didn't realize getting hit by a certain attack triggered it). This was the first real story game I'd ever beaten I will always remember beating it on my PS2 where you had to rewatch the same damn cutscenes over and over and over.
I honestly never had a problem with the lasers after my first time fighting him and losing, you just have to know when he stops the lasers then attack him as much as you can, also on his last phase of the fight he does this thing that pulls sora to it or sum I think its a ball or sum but anyway stand behind the big demon boat thing summon Tinkerbell and spam gravity spells while locked on to ansem. This boss was pretty easy...sadly.
That was literally me, who tried to get the "no equipment change" trophy. I even played it on easy but even then, this fight was ridiculously difficult. Not even proud with good Equipment was that stupidly difficult. However, after an almost half hour long battle, I finally managed to get the platinum trophy.
Seeing the whole fight in 60fps is amazing, look at Ansem's fluid motions with the dual-bladed Soul Eater Imagine if Ansem brought this out in the KH3 boss-fight...
Ansem or Xehanort used himself.if you lock closely the faces resamble Xehanorts. The heartless is hooked to it,simbolic for Terra beeibg used as a vessel
The only reason it was so easy for me to beat this game on proud was cause I was a LV 74 from leveling up in the colleseum trying to beat Kurt Cisar or whatever that mech’s name is along with phantom, thinking that doing so would give me back accessibility to Hollow Bastion since chip and dale said try revisiting other worlds. Turns out all I had to do was board the gummi ship and fly through the warp hole again...
I've been trying to find the right words for this. What are you talking about? World of Darkness is an Alliance Raid, and the Cloud of Darkness is a massive being fought in a dark dome. World of Chaos is maybe close in size to the dark dome, maybe even the size of Cloud of Darkness, but we never get to see her entire form.
There’s the final cutscene of Sora, Donald and Goofy chasing after Pluto, and then there’s a teaser for KH II if you get all dalmations and finish the Hades Cup. The teaser isn’t really anything special... If you play 1.5 remix i believe that the KH II teaser plays even if you don’t finish the Hades Cup / get all dalmations.
It looked and sounded cool but was mostly just awkward and not very fun.... The most fun fight in this game was definitely Giant Ursula (at least you could mermaid kick)
Aeroga kills any threat to you while stacking damage on your targets. Even at level 50 on proud, he's not that hard with the right set up. I'll say this though, do not ever pick the sword in the beginning, it makes this fight brutal. Staff for life.
Not really much to say about the shield. I've never picked it personally. I would think a high defense early on would help especially if you potion farm. Other than that, I don't think there are many advantages except for getting guard early.
This fight would be a lot harder if Ansem didn’t think talking was a free action
I struggled so hard on this fight cause I stupidly went in with only 1 ether as an item and the lasers kept killing me every time haha
"The heart may be weak, and sometimes it-" "COME GUARDIAN!!" "Wait I'm not done- OOOH!!"
Honestly, after beating him at level 1… *GOD NO I DO NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THAT PHASE ANY LONGER THAN NEED BE PLEASE*
Step 1: get defeated the first time
Step 2: spawn a darkside
Step 3: reappear after a darkside is defeated
Step 4: get defeated the second time
Step 5: ...
Step 6: *turn into a boat*
Step 7: get defeated for the third time
Step 8: Kingdom Hearts is light
Step 9: die
I guess he was a Keyblade wielder.... that was an Attraction Flow.
Can't wait to use this attraction flow in kh4 along with the form change gun
the many genders

It creates a feeling of despair, hopelessness, and danger... before flaring up into "I did NOT come this far just to die now!"
0:43 god I love that part. It gives the “it seems hopeless, but I’m still gonna try anyway.” Kinda vibe.
1: turns into a boat
2: turns into a dragon castle

Oh my god...he turned into a boat
The bastard...
Couple of games later he becomes a goat.
my man, Ansem turned into an edgy flesh cruise ship and wanted to seek darkness in style.
And then you press X a few times!
Funniest shit I've ever seen
*”Still confused? Then perhaps, THIS will enlighten you!”* -Ansem KH1
Really hope we get more giant huge bosses like this in KH4!
This boss beat my a**
Nothing compared to the hidden secret bosses.
Seeing the whole fight in 60fps is amazing, look at Ansem's fluid motions with the dual-bladed Soul Eater

Lol i'm italian and the title litteraly means Looking in the Darkness
I am brazilian and the title almost sounds like "keeping It in your belly" lol
Now this title looks better for me, thanks
oh ma allora non sono l'unico ei ciao
In spanish It literally sounds "keeping the owl" man Amazing to think language differences sometimes.
Also thats an odd way of saying "looking".
Italian Xehanort? Is that you?
@@BowserisOK d a r k n e s s
This fight had me way too hyped up and i loved every moment of it!
No one seems to acknowledge the Battleship Halberd resemblance here
The only thing missing is Ansem proclaiming "Darkness conquers all worlds!"
This fight is:
(20%) Attacking Ansem
(80%) DODGING THOSE *STUPID F***ING LAZERS!*
“All shall be extinguished”

So Ansem was the 1st in the series to use an Attraction Flow.

Fun fact: if world of chaos existed IRL we wouldn't be here to see it in orbit around the earth
Okay that thumbnail lookin like ansem out wit his stand
That would assume Sora has a stand.
@@random_chance I like this timeline
That would explain why we cannot harm the Guardian! After all, only Stands can harm other Stands.
Gotta say as a kid and seeing this, I freaked the fuck out. But it was awesome.
I literally just realized... One thing would have helped me other than Aero. FRICKIN TINKERBELL.
When you are alone you can't summon her
You need all three party members active and not knocked out to use summons in this game.
Isn't it Guardando Nel Buio? Just wondering, love that Sora was so damn OP XD
You are correct, thanks for pointing it out, updated the title.
Dude looks like another boss version of what Dark Falz would look like in the Phantasy Star Online series.
I wish there was a way to save the game after beating it so that this EXP could be of good use.
The first noted use of Xehanort and his Xeha-nots using fucking LASERS in his boss fight in the KH series.
"And then he turned himself into a boat. Weirdest s**t I've ever seen"
I just beat Ansem and he was hard af. Mostly cause I was underleveled to all hell
Idk if its really underleveled tbh just use aero spells to up your defense then time your attacks he is pretty easy (I was level 54 btw)
@@MooeysAura I was lv 45 and didn't know the significance of Aero spells at the time
Let me guess you are mostly dies from the lasers right?
This was the boss where it was 3 hits then run away
Actually you can do two full air combos if you time the keyblades hits and I had a 5 hit air combo and I was able to do two full air combos.
Then he turns himself into a boat.
Funniest shit I've ever seen.
This fight was so mean on my first play through I narrowly beat him at 1 health left with no magic and I went into this fight with only an ether lmaoo
I was so lucky to beat this boss 1st time
“Returned to darkness!”
Even on Proud he isn't that bad if you have Curaga and Aeroga.
I wish they kept Aero. ;u;
Ansem: You don't know the power of the dark side!"
whait, if ff 14 arr, the world of chaos (darkness) is a raid. here its an entire boss the size of a moon? wtf squre enix?

There's a secret ending? Should I comeback to play KH and find out or do you mean "the after credits" cutscene?

Why they didn't add this song into smash, I have no idea.
F*ck smash. That game turned on into a prostitute house. Anyone entering in that shit. Who's next?! Chester cheetos?! Biden? Ronald macdonald? Pff

You could say that to so many songs in the series, at least a smash remix, I'd kill to have a Face My Fears Smash remix.
I've always liked this theme more than KH2's final boss.

Nope, most fun is Riku-Ansem (fair duel without those fking curses)
Wait is ansem and the guardian in this form one and the same?
Turn to darkness rgggh!!
The face down ther just so happend to be Xehanort lol
Darkness
RETURN TO DARKNESS!!!
1 dislike..... Hmmmm Ansem

5 now, so I guess he got Master Xehanort, Xemnas and Young Xehanort to dislike it too.
