American Texican over here, just finished putting in my quickshifter. Throughout the installation I kept quoting “Ah quickshiftah” and “need one in me life” in my best cockney. From now on when I think of the quickshiftah those quotes will always come to mind. Thank your buddy for me.
Haha😂 enjoy your Quickshiftah now ya av one in ya life😉👍
What happened to the follow-up?
Fits on 2018 Suzuki 1300 hyabusa?
Hi,
I am coming back at you, after using the translogic on my Hayabusa 06 with 15000 miles, I don’t know what to think, clunky sometimes, very smooth sometimes, mid-shift 3 times 😕. Probably a driver issue but I am doubting.
What are your feedback on the busa for you ?
Hopefully the gearbox is going to survive.
Do you know if adding a translogic ECU will smooth out part throttle, mid range rpm shifts?
I have the translogic OEM quickshifter upgrade for my MT07.
Yes the intellishift translogic quickshifter fitted to this busa has the ecu and is spot on 👍🏻👌🏻
Hi just put a QS translogic on my O6 hayabusa. Every time I am using the QS I have my FI flashing, seems like it’s very common things with QS on GSXR, any thoughts how to fix this ?
Thx
Just a quick thought do you have a aftermarket gear indicator fitted or TRE ? I know these can throw up an F1 when fitted with the QS ? failing that give translogic uk a quick bell there technical dept are more than happy to help and definitely put you in the right direction. They were more than happy to help when I had a prob on install on my Tl1000R when fitting my QS ! Hope this helps
@@KeepItWheel nope I don’t have any gear indicator..
Well I am gonna try to contact them then.
Thx very much for your advice.
How's the trans logic holding up guys.was it worth the expense, could you live without it? thinking of one for mine. cheers
Still faultless operational wise but we haven't fitted them to the other 2 busa's as we dont think its justified spending all that cash due to the long gear changes on the bike if that makes sense? Also slightly ' clunky' below 4000rpm !! Hope this helps buddy
@@KeepItWheel mine is 05 with 70k km on it. Engine is never touched/repaired and well conditioned. Should i use quickshifter, does it dmg the engine since its newer technology then our busas =)
How long did it take to fit and what was the price please as intrested for mine hayabusa
Hi Scott,
Took around 2 hours start to finish, very easy only tricky bit was matching the the shifter rod lenght to the original so take your time doing it if you buy one! The price is around £430 Delivered. If you order one make sure you get the "intellishift" with roads set up.
Thanks for watching!
Just want to know whether it's a bi-directional quick shifter
@@coseuse yes
Whats with the smoke no need for it.
