Hi Carla! I’m so impressed that you dressed to match the bathroom ! Good decluttering tip!! Sadly I was watching to hopefully kick myself into decluttering mode. Sadly it looks stressful, so I’m having a coffee and kitkat instead!!!
Carla, I too have a secret stash of tools, scissors, glue, sticky tape etc...I have to do this as everyone else in my house NEVER RETURNS these items to where they belong so this is my solution...it works!
To make it look less busy, you could put your hair dye towels in a storage cube on the shelf maybe? Also another storage cube for excess shampoos, conditioner first aid kit etc? Will make it look neater. Hope you don’t mind this suggestion 😊
I had a similar situation a in 2018! Far too many products and hundreds of things. I challenged myself to not buy a single thing until I had used up all the products of that type even if I didn't love them. 2 days ago I bought my first product since then a bottle of shampoo! Still have at least 6 months worth of everything else! Saved a fortune!
Carla. You are making so much work for yourself. You could try having a nice basket, with a lid. Doesn’t have to be big. And you all keep your own stuff in your room. And you keep your own towels apart from a hand towel in the bathroom. You could then get rid of all the stuff including the towels and large storage shelves.
So enjoyed your vlog. You are a tonic to watch, your sense of humour and wit are just brilliant. Always enjoy watching whatever you do, but you have some great inspirational ideas too. Xx
What a great video carla my favourite videos to watch .. makes it even better as you're so funny 😂 thanks for the inspiration of having a major clearout sortout declutter clean of my bathroom 😂🎉❤
Anything that Nat doesn’t use regularly should be stored in her room. When my kids still lived at home, they each had a compartmented handled container, and all of their bath/shower supplies were stored in their rooms and came into the bathroom each time they bathed/showered and then went back to their rooms once finished.
You are my favourite UA-camr Whatever you vlog I enjoy as you keep it so real Something satisfying watching someone else declutter and makes me want to start on my own cluttered areas but it’s now 21:15 so I won’t be starting I hope the changeover works for you x
I enjoyed todays de cluttering Carla . I’m wondering if like Tammy only keep in the bathroom what each persons current products & all other are kept in there bedroom . It’s a lot products for the bathroom to hold 🤦🏻♀️Then each person could have a compartment in the new storage for there own products .I only keep what I’m actually using in the bathroom & replace when finished it does work for me ,I don’t feel overwhelmed with products 🤔xxx
Have been using up products since realising how much we had when we packed the house, and moved nearly 3yrs ago!! I’m slowly working my way through beauty stuff I forgot I had. Saving a fortune! Thanks for sharing Carla. Enjoy your Easter weekend ❤️
I felt you pain 😂😂 I did a bathroom declutter the other week. The smallest room in the house took the longest and as soon as I started it I wished I hadn’t bothered. Ended up with surplus everything!!!!!!! Thanks for the video really enjoyed watching it and you did make me laugh all the way through. 😂😂😂🥰🥰🥰
Nearly half an hour…. and I’ve tried to stay stable. My goddess wot a lot you’ve got. I loved this video, thanks Carla. I have under 20 items in my bathroom (blow my trumpet emoji). I’ve downsized so much it’s scary. If I don’t use it….. it goes. I feel better for it. I would love a utility room too. 7 washing baskets would look good with people’s names on lined up in a utility room. You did a great clear up, very satisfying indeed.
I agree with someone else’s comment that if you turn the white box shelving and get another one and put it next to the existing one you have double the storage in that area!
You could put your hair dye towels in a storage cube on the shelving unit, plus put all the spare shampoos and conditioners in another cube on the unit with the first aid kits. This will make it look less cluttered 😊
A large shelf unit(IKEA billy bookcase) from floor to ceiling would hold everything where you have the cube shelving on the wall, you could have matching containers to fit on the shelves to categorise the items. You could live on all the bits you have for at least a year I reckon!, which would pay for the unit. Well done for sorting everything, I hope they appreciate your hard work! X
Sorry Carla I got over excited that's why I fell in the bath😂. I was looking at our bathroom the other day, we have a vanity unit, still not enough room! Like the over the door idea xx
Hi Carla .good job. I could watch you doing organizing vlogs all day long . Buy a under sink cupboard if your organiser does nt work on your door. I have one and find it useful . Xx
One of those jobs that you wished you’d never started, but in the end, glad you did. Never mind Carla, at least it was a good colour choice with the top you were wearing 😂😂😂❤❤❤ Thankyou for sharing, take care xx
I'm very guilty of buying products before using up the current ones then periodically have a purge through the bathroom cupboards and realise I've far too much - it's usually body lotion which I don't use but people keep giving me! There's only me in my bathroom too so I can't even blame anyone else 🙈🤣 I love your vlogs as your comments are so funny - well done for organising the chaos 😀
Thank you for a very entertaining vlog and now I need to sort my bathroom out.I love the light purple walls ,very relaxing.Happy Easter to you and your family and friends.x.
Made me laugh! 🤣I've had plenty of days like that. I used to live in house exactly like yours, toilet was under the stairs but we had happy times living there hugger mugger. I put a lot of stuff like washing machine in the old coalhouse outside and freezer and dryer in a big shed, wasn't easy if it was raining. Surprise surprise 🤣Cilla Black. You could put the hanging thing on the bit of wall in corner by door if it don't work on the door maybe 💗
Maybe you could get a few wicker baskets to fit on the shelf it would make it look neater also love the color of your bathroom wall’s keep them coming xx
baskets for their washi g tell them to keep them in their own rooms plus boxes for all their own washing products aswell and id buy a ew shower curtain that is single one easier for you to put up karla
Hi Carla. I would put a bigger wall storage unit above the radiator and a shelf above the towel rail. A Plastic basket on the floor by the sink to put the rolled up towels in. Just an idea xx
It isn't easy trying to find storage spaces in a small area. Why not turn your wall unit around (height-wise) and get another one of the same to fit side-by-side as it looks like there is enough wall space to accommodate 2 units thus making it look much tidier with everything in the same place. I'm with you about the towels, they look much better rolled than folded.
I'm about to move to a house with one bathroom after having my own ensuite for 14 years.. I'm dreading it.. but you have given me a couple of ideas thank you xx
Darcys collar, your t-shirt and the wall paint tied in wonderfully 😅 that was a job and a half Carla.Hopefully the door hanger will be a success.Fingers crossed.x
My bathroom currently has no bath panel and no blind-two projects that I thought would be quick one day jobs that have become far more complicated and beyond my skill set. Wish I’d never started. Well done on your sort out.
My bathroom is decluttered +++ It's at the tail end of a complete reno. A triple mirrored medicine cabinet can house a ton of girl stuff. I see one on Amazon in Canada. A vanity with a storage cupboard under the sink is practical as well. My husband is scared of the parcel opening too. lol
Each household member could keep their towels in their bedroom on some small hanging device .. that’s means no sharing and more space in bathroom the rack takes up too much space . Xx
OMG, the eighth circle of hades, love it lol I can't stand hanging shower curtains, they're a pain, to say the least lol Carla, this was so entertaining for us, not you, so, thank you for the comedy lol Fantastic job Carla ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ That was fun! Thanks for sharing and make those grown kids help u and do their own laundry!!! We have five in the house, if you don't count the 11 four-legged family members, and every single one, even the teenage grand child, does their own laundry lol
We only have the basics, I can't believe someone has that many products. I used to live in an apartment where everyone used the same bathroom down the end of the hall. We had small baskets that we kept with our products and such in them. The only thing in the bathroom was cleaning supplies and everyone disinfected it before and after use.
Well done! It’s not easy when several people, each with their own products, have to share a small space. In my small bathroom (even smaller than yours) I took the bath out and replaced it with a big corner shower unit which is lovely, but I do miss a having a soak now and then.
IKEA do a cupboard very thin and narrow floor to ceiling ,not too expensive. You might find it might be stronger if your shelving doesn’t work on the back of the door. .
It's amazing how the door thing filled up and the wall unit is as well,,, where did the door stuff come from ? 😂 Lol,,, I hope it serves the purpose,,, maybe have nat take all her extra products to her room til she needs them,, the towels look like they will be convenient near the bathtub,,, nice job!!
You have more patience and energy than me, but more alarmingly, between the 4 of you, you have less products than me!! And as for hair dying..no rush. I hear the Bristol Badger look is going to be all the rage this summer!
Seeing all those beauty products I would think I was in a household of glamorous Victoria’s Secret models 😅 It’s a cull you need not a declutter 😂 you can give the unopened stuff to your local food bank they always desperately need toiletries.
What is it with tiny bathrooms. Ours is only about 6' x 5' and it's the room that takes me the longest to clean and tidy! I do have a tip for keeping shower curtains mould free. I spray the bottom of the curtain with Cillit Bang mould remover, leave it in a bowl for about 5 minutes or so then bung it in the washing machine. By the time I've finished cleaning the bathroom it's ready to go back up. 😊
Hi! enjoyed the video & I have a few suggestions as I have a small bathroom as well. The only things we have in there is 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner, 1 body wash,& 1 loofah, which are kept in a a wall mounted container. We have a vanity sink where I store toilets rolls, cleaners & cloths. We have two small shelves on the back wall for the towels ( also in storage bins). That’s it ! I decided to accept that the space that I have is the space that I have & rather than trying to cram everything in there I would just keep the essentials. The excess stuff is stored elsewhere. Eg. I have a 4 cube storage unit ( from Ikea) in my bedroom which I call my little shop. It works very well for our family & keeps everything easy to manage. However, because you have so many toiletries, perhaps you could consider donating half of them to a women’s shelter & just keep the things that you will realistically use up in the next few years. Simplifying our spaces is the easiest way to keep things under control so declutter as much as you feel able. Anyway, that’s my few tips for you. Best wishes & thanks for posting your entertaining video.
Make everyone have a wash bag they keep in their bedroom. The clutter would drive me mad 😂.
A lovely green plant would look great on top of your towel unit xxx
Carla this video made me laugh out loud! I love the honesty of your videos, normalising family life, keep doing you! Xx
Enjoyed this a normal house for once on a organizing vlog
Hi Carla! I’m so impressed that you dressed to match the bathroom ! Good decluttering tip!! Sadly I was watching to hopefully kick myself into decluttering mode. Sadly it looks stressful, so I’m having a coffee and kitkat instead!!!
Talk about a laugh… just what I needed. I love your derogatory commentary so much 😂🤣
Carla, I too have a secret stash of tools, scissors, glue, sticky tape etc...I have to do this as everyone else in my house NEVER RETURNS these items to where they belong so this is my solution...it works!
I thought I was pinching my daughters fancy conditioner for a few weeks ,suddenly realised it was a posf dog conditioner 😂
To make it look less busy, you could put your hair dye towels in a storage cube on the shelf maybe? Also another storage cube for excess shampoos, conditioner first aid kit etc? Will make it look neater. Hope you don’t mind this suggestion 😊

I'm doing this at the moment - it's so good to see the products decreasing! 😊
Carla. You are making so much work for yourself. You could try having a nice basket, with a lid. Doesn’t have to be big. And you all keep your own stuff in your room. Same! Towels too! Only had hand towels available to use 😉
@@msq5312 Yes! Bathing/hair washing towels hung on the back of their bedroom door.
Lol nats would never end up back in her room 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You are my favourite UA-camr Whatever you vlog I enjoy as you keep it so real

Thanks for sharing Carla. Enjoy your Easter weekend ❤️
You have cheered my morning Carla, so funny. Keep going girl your doing a great job.xxx
That was funny, I laughed out loud a couple of times, 🤣😂
A good job well done, ❤ xx
I have a pretty shower curtain that goes on the outside.cheap one inside easy to replace.
Great idea 💡 😊

Re the shower curtain, just dangle the bottom in a bucket of dilute bleach for a few hours, works well x

Well done on your sort out.
It’s always entertaining watching someone else work hard. 😹. I’m trying to use up stuff, but I do tend to buy more before I’ve finished something.
Well done Carla.
Fantastic video Carla - just the inspiration I needed to tackle my bathroom - please do more of these xxxx

My shower curtains same so I tried putting the bottom into bleach and water while still on the rail ..used an old basin ..it works ..
😂🤣🤣that’s you at your very best Carla ❤
Could strengthen back door container with extra cardboard ,also sip lock bags for meds good clearout😊
Well done! It’s not easy when several people, each with their own products, have to share a small space. In my small bathroom (even smaller than yours) I took the bath out and replaced it with a big corner shower unit which is lovely, but I do miss a having a soak now and then.

Loved the tidy and declutter. Made my breakfast more fun this morning! 😂
God i laughed out loud you standng there holding the random stuff😂😂 its not just me then doing stuff like that😂😂
My husband has more products than I do … I feel your frustration Carla ❤
You would think I was moving out if you saw my bathroom carla 🤣🤣🤣💖💖
Carla you made me laugh out loud when the camera fell over 😅😊
Loved this video. I'm sad I know xx 😁
❤❤❤
For me, visually, open storage shelves full of 'stuff', make rooms look so cluttered. Baskets on shelves always look better.
Sounds like my house 😂❤weldone carla 😊now I feel bad about mine so guess what I'm about to go do 😉
I've got a very small bathroom. It is a nightmare if there is to much stuff in it.

Next time you do the bathroom ill come help but then dont know where you would park me lol
Well done - we always have far too many products as well - sorry we took a dive off the bath 😂
I think hair clippers should be stored elsewhere as you don’t use them in the bathroom
Carla your so funny and dont know it x
Good job Carla, you shouldn’t need to buy hair products for a while!
😂
i think Natalie needs to be put on a buying ban lol x
good morming ❤ kisses
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 xx
Loved this but sorry it was quite a task for you😩
I definitely think the wooden shelves are too bulky for that size of bathroom, but I don’t know what the answer is to storing your towels 🤔
