Imagine.
Your first day of life.
Stepping out of your shell that has kept you confined all this time up until this moment.
Only to step on a lego.
Bowno - haha! Good point 😂
Good(• •)
X_X
Send it to Lego and see if they will put you in a book or somthing because that is awesome!
100% AGREE!
They display it in their shops and send it back to you after a month.
Yea should do that. They have seperate technical lego division (simple robotics, small engines etc) maybe this can be innone of there example. I think they call it lego technic
hey everyone get a Lego tile write your name on it and send in. A subscriber lego incubator
I'd love to see if they make one based off of their house as an outright nod to them
anyone else want the T-shirt that has a black rooster and some cherry blossom flowers that Jake is wearing at 13:51
for me the one at 6:40 looks better
I think all the shorts look good xD
It's not for sale on their website. I want one too!!
Sabytiger - Here you go: bit.ly/JohnnyCashTheRooster 😀
Thx so much!!!!!
Seriously a new meaning to LEGO my eggo. ❤️ You’re a good dad. ❤️
Totally, right!? What an awesome family!
Nancy Cowan - thank you 😊
Wow! What an incredibly fun way to have you kids involved! Also, genuinely original and entertaining...you guys are amazing and great creators! Honestly the most fun we’ve had recently watching a UA-cam video!
4 Kids and a Farm - we really appreciate it, thank you so much!
I’m so desperate when Is the aviary video going to be dropped.
Abubakar Kashim zannah - working on it again soon, getting a couple other projects going in the meantime
White House on the Hill this LEGO video was everything I needed today!
THANK YOU Eli💗🥰
I always like the music you played for time lapses- also, real respect for citing every single song played in the video, its a nice gesture and a good idea in general haha
Teardrop Heart - thank you 😊
I made a working incubator with a cardboard box lined with aluminum foil.
I hung a 100 w light bulb inside through a small hole in the top, and placed a cheap thermometer on the bottom.
Poked holes in the box top until the temp stabilized at 100, a small plastic cup with water was also placed inside for humidity.
21 eggs labeled am and pm on opposite sides were placed on the bottom and turned by hand twice a day.
21 days later I had 20 live chicks and only one didn't hatch!
Total cost...about $5.00
scumonkey - well done
Corrugated cardboard is as good insulator, in my mind better than plastic legos! And the aluminum to reflect the heat from the light-bulb back inside was a good idea, too!
It’s been too long since I’ve watched you guys! I can’t believe your almost at 500k. I first started watching when you were almost at 70k
Andrew Smith - thanks for supporting us!
This the best channel on YT
Nick Hubbard - thank you, Nick!
Ok
We’ve used a broody hen to hatch like around 7 eggs. It’s day 23 and only one has hatched. Please pray for the other eggs 🙏
Jester J more babies coming....fingers crossed
They would be hatching by now . Candle them to see if they are living.
I would candle them but the mom pecks me every time I even touch her so I don’t wanna bother her. But thank you guys for your support 😊
Pls do update us how many baby chicks u got? I love them so much..
Am praying for U and them
HATCH SWAN EGGS FOR THE POND
Henry Castro-Miller they did say they want to in a video but they can’t afford for swan eggs
In england I think swans are protected by the queen. I'm not sure how that applies to looking after them. It would be cool if they got swans or geese though
@@fangxyblare7804 may be if this video hit a certain like bar?
Henry Castro-Miller depends what’s type of swan. They can be extremely aggressive.
Henry Castro-Miller I love that
things to possibly make incubators out of-
Lincon logs (somehow...), wood (carved yourself), clay, if all glass was possible... but eh, those are a few off the top of my head.. some may be a bit too difficult but it would be cool if ya took one of the challenges haha
Teardrop Heart THE LINCOLN LOGS IS SUCH A GREAT IDEA!!!!
Teardrop Heart - that's a really good idea!
Yui is that you😲!?
@@aedananimationstheraptorbr617 maybeeeeeeeeeeee
Nice ideas I thought of clay as well and also posted it
I would love to see a old fish tank turned into one.
For bonus points I want to make it an even bigger challenge by saying that the class can not be cut or drilled into. After the incubator has done it's job, I expect the tank to be able to hold water again. This should be a challenge. But if anyone can do it, it's you guys. Also absolutely love your channel, keep up the good work
I'm happy to see you put down anti slip mats in the incubator! No more splayed legs! 😁. Awesome job guys. Love all the videos. Thanks for making more content during a time where we have to isolate. It's so appreciated!
Brady Felker - ❤️
Another One from White House on the Hill!
From the music that starts the episode,
to the ingenuity of the project from start to finish,
as well as the follow through. Well done and and
the warmest thank you for Your time and share!
This video is JUST WHAT I NEEDED in these crazy days. Thank you guys. Stay healthy and safe.
Dror Sh - ❤️
Y’all just upped the incubator game! Fantastic job! I never grow tired of seeing new life! Yeaaaa!
Simply Jan Homestead - thanks, Jan!
The problem of a lego incubator is that the chick has to feel the pain of stepping on a lego
Armymanofd3th Atlas - the worst pain in the world
oof 🤧🤧
Armymanofd3th show some respect
Yep, that and what if it melts
Lol
Love the idea! For the rotation of the eggs, you can make something out of gears and stuff so they can turn the egg holders side to side. I think that'll be really cool. Keep up the great videos!
What a great family project! This was fun to watch; it will be a great memory for the boys.
I)There are all kind of sizes of PCV plumbing pipes. Perhaps these could be used in your next incubator project.
2)Double walled aluminum made from thick aluminum pans (cookie sheets).
3)styrofoam from picnic coolers could be used.
Those are my 3 suggestions. Happy building!
Barbara Houk - 👏🏼
Great inspiration! I think this is a perfect experiment for those of us under lock down. We have Legos everywhere and the kids will really get a kick out of building their own incubator.
Fish Family Farm - that's what we were thinking... plenty of LEGOs around the house
@@whitehouseonthehill ha ha don't I know it! So many Legos we keep finding then even after sweep up time.
You are such good parents. Seems kids living off grid and home schooled better. You set the example. I suggest parents watch these with their kids. We can learn by example. Such a fine farm and everyone belongs, each and every bird are loved.
That Lego project is awesome!!! Good job.🐣
Tana Pittsford - thank you!
That's such a nice dad and son project. Good work Eli! I love little Lego!
I’ve got a few interesting ideas!
-turn a cupboard/drawer into an incubator
-turn a giant pipe into an incubator
-some weird incubator that is underground
-use one of those bulky old TVs empty it and turn it into an incubator!
Hope you guys like one of these ideas love ur vids!
You should make a Incubator that looks like a bird house
You have wonderful sons, wife, farm, cute animals.... Wonderful family. Love watching your channel.... 👍
Gunpei gun_pei - thank you so much
Build an incubator out of a resin cast. See through all the way.
Caitlyn Lankford - interesting idea... I'll have to think about the shape I'd want to make on that one!
White House on the Hill make it egg shaped and have a motor turn the entire incubator instead of each egg.
It would be an eggcubator 😆
@@lynild i like that idea..
I loved Legos as a kid, still do. That was AWESOME!! Eli, you are a Lego master!!
Literally this made me subscribe. I like how detailed you are in each of your hatching process.
Be Ognare - thank you ❤️
Make an incubator out of all recycled materials, i know it's probably been done but it would be a good way to make more people aware of what you can do with supplies that may just be lying around
Isabella 304 - fun idea
I bet you have more in lego's and gadgets than the cost of a new incubator lol. But it was a super fun to watch experiment, the boys seemed to love it(Eli's giggle while the lego's were being dumped out was priceless), and it just made me smile, while everything is so chaotic in our world right now. Good job.
What can you use? Lincoln logs? Like a mini log cabin incubator. Clay? Playdough?
Stephani Knight - I like the Lincoln log idea 😀
That's one of the coolest thing I've ever seen! I'm so glad it worked. Looks like your work has paid off.
Mariam D - thank you!
The house turned out great after all the hard work you've put in!
Matt Tottleben - thank you!
Lego: **asks you where you got the chickens from**
You guys: *from you*
Lego: *YoUr'E hIrEd*
That turkey sure has some great bragging rights: the first turkey ever hatched in a lego incubator! What a great project to do with your sons! I'm curious what the FINAL incubator ended up costing (not counting the things that didn't work). Great job guys!
What a confidence builder for a child. Congratulations Ely!
Bob White - ❤️
Such a fabulous family project. You’re the best family ever! Thanks for sharing your journey!
jim biggar - ❤️
Eli: ready set gooo!
Drops one lego😂😂
Sarahi Melena - 😂
This was really cool!! I have a suggestion for the next one, maybe try to make an incubator out of recycled plastic (like melting down milk cartons)
Or make a completely clear one out of resin, perhaps put some colorful egg shells in the resin?
Ali R - the resin idea is a really cool one
That’s really funny because I just made one a few days ago and now I’m testing it! 😁. Great video by the way I feel like that was really good bonding time for you guys. Love you guys! ❤️
Panfillo Fish - have fun 😀
My daughter Eleanor loves the Lego incubator and loves building creations with her Legos too.! She just watched the episode and was so excited to see the Lego build.
Good Job guys! Keep up the good work and thank you for making my day!
Elise B - thanks!
I absolutely love Alchemist Farm! They're amazing and I love their commitment for sustainability. I have some quails from them and I absolutely love how blue their eggs are. :)
Oksana - awesome!
Fantastic project!--thanks for all the work and fun!
Donna Lieblick - thank you!
I LOVE the Lego idea! I'm currently have 2 that I'm working on, an antique Pepsi machine and a small Deep Freeze hoping to have them done by this Fall. Possibilities are endless with things you can use.
aww, ive missed watching this channel! Ive been so frikin busy I havent had time. I'm glad that I could finally make it on time!!
Teardrop Heart - thanks for watching!
You guys make me want 5 acres and an incubator. 😂🤣
ErdriedDeirdre - 👏🏼
Lol
One of the very best videos I've ever seen! This had a lesson in every subject I could think of!!
Incubator ideas: old dorm room size refrigerator, dollar store cheap foam cooler, a 2 or 3 gallon bucket from your local bakery, or even a Rubbermaid style tub. Any of these things would be easy to get a hold of cheap or free for those who are on a budget. I would like to see you include links to the heater/fan and other parts you use. Maybe see how cheap you could build one.
Awesome video I love it. I challenge you to make an incubator out of a birdhouse. I think it would be an awesome project and I would love to see how you do.
Yowell’s Hoppin Hilltop Farm - thanks 😀
I am just going to warn you right at the get-go : it don't matter how good an incubator you build, it ain't gonna hatch no Legos!
Craig Mooring - you got me there 😀 if only there was a way to produce more
What a cute and creative idea!!!!!
This is the coolest thing ever!!! And the most creative way!
I've been subscribed to this channel since 15k subscribers and I was so happy when they reached 100k now were nearing 500k and i'm just so excited with all the growth and hard work. Keep Up The Good Work Guys.👍
Typical T-Mart - thank you so much for the support!
You guys are awesome, each time I can't imagine what your going to do! Much love💜
Edit: OMG IVE BEEN NOTICED!
Jenny - GalaxyCrystal - thank you very much ❤️
Eli is growing up so fast, what a little man he's becoming. All your child are so beautiful, opps, I mean handsome and sweet. I love how much they care for and support each other. Must be becuz you guys are such wonderful loving parents. ❤❤❤❤❤
Love youer videos man
The LEGO masterpiece.
Hioi - thanks!
White House on the Hill No problem!
@@whitehouseonthehill hi
Great job guys
Great building job Eli. Great science class. Let LEGO know. You guys are all the bomb!
EXCELLENT FOUNDATION FOR YOUR KIDS...Eli will be a builder of WORLDS with the sensitivity to and awareness of each particle within the ecosystem...GREAT JOB
Maybe try to make an incubator out of popsicle sticks or soda cans or out of a laundry basket
keep up the vids its always so much fun to watch
Victor Welvaert - thank you!
GREAT way to make memoirs!
Thank you for sharing.
I'm a grown man and when I saw the turkeys hatch it brought tears to my eyes. You have a God given talent. I have one Turkey her name is Turkey. She taps on the front door when she wants a treat. God bless you.
I love your guys video! They are amazing! I have 11 chickens and am incubating about 25 more right now. I have Jersey Giant chickens and my rooster, Bob, is about the size of a hen turkey. I really, really encourage and challenge you guys to incubate Jersey Giant eggs. You will really have fun with Jersey Giants because of their sheer size, I hope to see a video on incubating Jersey Giants. Have a fun time doing it!😃
Sebastian Beck - thanks! We've had them before. Hard to tell the hens apart from Australorps. We may have one in our flock right now.
Have you given any thought to uploading more content during this time when we're all stuck at home??
John Chase - it takes a lot of time to produce a hatching video... I worked on that for the last two months. But we're always working on new video ideas
Congrats to you all!!….they are so hard to build, but you guys did it!! Thanks for your video!!
Probably my favourite video you guys have done! Such a fun video!
Bruce Gehrig - that's so great to hear, thank you very much!
I would like to see one made from an old milk container.
my feet hurt just seeing all those legos!!
Lord Faladar - I step on one everyday! I love and hate them 😂
I have been watching your videos for a long time an love what you guys do
Boss vlogs - thank you!
I hope you guys get those types of eggs again. I was really excited to see what they would hatch out as and how they would look.
I bet Eli had a GREAT TIME with this brilliant project!! What a VERY creative idea!!
R. Kennedy Fox - thank you ❤️
Cute!!
Sweetmz * - thanks!
I'm sad I'm all caught up :( started at the emu hatching then everything just flew by haha
Tyler Nagel - thanks for watching!
Way to go guys!! I can't wait to see Lego grow up!!
Very nice idea!! this is very helpful for people that enjoy incubating but cant afford incubators. Lovely video as always, I like to watch your videos to relax
Every like is a R.I.P to all those animals that didn't make it😭😭
They would just be breakfast otherwise 🤷♂️
@@APLivestock lol🤣🤣
So cute I've been watching sense you started and we are getting a lot of chickens we already have 18
Corban Arthur - congrats on all the chickens 👏🏼
Im asking my parents to get olive eggers too.
What a fun learning experience for your family and us!
Great job. Thanks for the history of the final one. Persevering pays off. Great lesson learned.
Cindy Shipp - thank you so much!
PS you guys should do a live can and add some chill music so it's relaxing (like so they can see)
Elise B - slow internet where we're at for live cams... otherwise we would
Ooh that makes sense )
I bet you could make one out of a sterlite or Rubbermaid like container pretty easily!
Nice idea
We started our channel last year right before Baker Creek Spring Planting Festival,we saw you there but didn't know who you were, we were looking forward to meeting you this year, but that has changed. We go to KC several times a year, maybe when this is all over we could meet up sometime.realy liked the Lego incubator, Gary
congrats nice job done guys. Can't wait to see more little Lego.
My dream is to have my own farm, ranch, homestead or w.e., I want to have different animals... I love animals!
Me too
Try reusing empty cans. How about a two liter bottle, Or a gallon jar?
love the content bro tbh LOVE THIS
Try building an incubator with popsicle sticks! I hope whatever you choose works out! Have a good one!
MAKE AN INCUBATOR OUT OF YOURE MERCH i think it would be cool but only wrap the walls om merch it may not hold up
Ducky Duckling - shameless march plug 😂
Make a styrofoam egg incubator it holds heat beter
What a fun way to involve the kids 😀 thanks for your videos I really love them and look forward to every time I see a new video up from you😀 it’s such a nice distraction from what is going on outside at the moment!
Hope you are all safe and well look after yourselves and the animals. Sending best wishes from England!
The Adventures of Sandy Land - thank you so much, we really appreciate it
Much love from the Philippines and hoping you guys are ok amidst this pandemic,im excited and happy to see the aviary done up and workin',hope you can feature also doggos in the farm, excited also to see Mother B on her VEG. AND Fruit garden
Get a dog to protect or a cattle dog like corgi or something Elsie B thank you for telling me look at the comments of this post and i hope you get a puppy soon
A DOG would be a smart choice, but not a corgi or a cattle dog because they are bred for herding, Which means nipping at the cattle's heels,Not guarding.instead, you should get a livestock guardian dog.I have a Great Pyrenees myself and she is super chill. Overall they're boring Basically just naps around and wakes up and barks,But has Never attacked because we've never had a need for it. They're great with kids and other dogs. And incredibly lazy As well as laid back until the need arrives.I believe that 1 of those types of dogs would do great.(However I probably shouldn't make any snap judgments) :-)
Yea i forgot
@@edwardchavez9725 :)
You need to be used to handling and have time for a cattle dog. I don’t think that would be a good match. They need something lower key. Actually, the Great Pyrenees is a really good idea except that coat is horrendous, and they have Very warm summers. But, cattle dog, no (worked w all types of dogs for 73 years).
@@helenscott8202 Actually, we live in northern California and her coats not to bad. I mean, she sheds a LOT, but she just needs to be brushed once every few days when it's sheding season and she's fine. We got her when I was a toddler, and now she's like.... 9 or 10? (Pretty old) so that's how I know that they are good with kids. She's always been laid back, when she was a puppy we thoughtful there was something wrong with her because she was always sleepy or sleeping lol (she's never bitten anyone in her life that I know of, but we got her as a rescue)
Make an incubator in a fish bowl!!
Cool idea maybe test it yourself I'm not the one to make crazy inventions but you seem creative give it a go! Plus maybe a stone one would be cool!
Great job, Ely! (and Dad) And welcome to the world, Lego!
So awesome! What a great project!
