I definitely recommend any students looking to start a side hustle to do it NOW! I started working full time this year and also started a few side hustles like selling masks and starting a UA-cam channel. While it’s really fulfilling, I’m also overwhelmed. I looked back to when I was in high school and uni, and thought of all the time I could have been doing this instead of stressing over studying (without actually studying). A side hustle is not going to affect your study, it’s just going to fill up your procrastination time. If I started in high school I would have felt more fulfilled during university, and my business would be more established by now. You also learn a lot along the way. So don’t hesitate, ask your parents for the starting fund if you need. Start a side hustle now~
can i just say as a goodwill employee: if you’re going to sell old clothes, please please please do not go to goodwill or other thrift stores and buy clothes to resell. this drives up the prices of the thrift store and makes it more difficult for people who actually need cheap clothes and shoes to get them. goodwill and most other “non-profit” thrift stores are a bit ethically sketchy to begin with, and making nice clothes and shoes cheaply available to people who need them is one of the few actual good things they do. resellers are undermining this and taking opportunities away from people who need them. I can’t speak for other secondhand retailers, but goodwill is raising its prices, and when a nice blazer or sport coat for a job interview is the difference between getting the job or remaining homeless, resellers can cause real harm.
Social media marketing would be pretty tough as a “side gig” - its typically a full time job and even small businesses look for people with at least a small graphics portfolio now and that can be a pretty big time commitment for something you’re not trying to completely dedicate yourself to
Savings account at the bank you can spend small amount every once in a while too and you won’t spend a lot and will have more money that you have saved
You should start budgeting! Start by tracking all the money you spend on what, and by the end of the week you will be able to see what you spend most of your money one and realize that (after some work and self discipline) you would rather be saving your money ! It’s helped me so far and I can’t recommend it more! However it will take about five minutes out of your day and checking your bank account, so it’s a responsibility 💛💛

I started tutoring as a high school freshman! I'm a sophomore now. Don't let your age stop you from doing what you love! I love my job--its super flexible, worked well during the COVID crisis, and pays well. I set my hours and can accept/reject clients based on my availability. If you like math or reading, DO IT. hey sorry this is pretty late but, what program do you use to tutor- as in finding students i mean..i’m a junior now and i’ve been thinking of tutoring math for a while..i’d rather teach middle schoolers or elementary students bcuz it’s easy lol!
selling things especially handmade sounds so easy and its been 5 months (i think) since i started my small business and no one has bought anything from me:(
Yesss, super difficult and you don't earn that much. People are used to cheap mass-produced things and see handmade things as super overpriced, while in reality people selling their handmade things probably earn below minimum wage.
Hey, you've mentioned internships in multiple videos now, and I was wondering if you could do a more comprehensive video on them sometime? I think it would be really helpful. Love your videos!!
I put the vid in my watch later list cuz I was busy at the time it came out then I got notified today (a day later) and just decided to watch it. no regrets ;]

personal ideas! btw this all depends on the type of area u live in as some recommendations will work out great and others may not! 1. classic lemonade, orange juice or treat stand 🍋 2. baby sitting 3. house cleaning (may be in ur house too) 4. yard work 5. dog walking 6. selling handmade goodies at markets 7. garage sale 8. selling used things online 9. taking out/managing peoples bins $3 - $5 per fortnight 10. car washing/ cleaning
a cool side hustle idea is getting tiny tote bags and getting prints and names on them. there's a place near my house where you can get stickers printed, things on bags, etc. I'm making that as an xmas gift for my lil sister, and it's a rlly cool idea for selling and yea :)
House sitting while people travel is a nice way to help your friends and earn a little money. (Usually taking care of a pet such as cats, dogs, hamsters, etc.)
I love the idea of selling stuff online I was actually making some clay things while watching this and I’ve always wanted to have my own small business thank you!
I've been thinking about selling some crochet sweaters I made a couple months back since it's about to be the cold season but this made me really think about actually doing it :). need some sort of income to start saving for college.
Literally 1 hour ago I was asking my mom if she had ideas to earn money and this appeared in my recommendations. Saved to watch in the morning because it's late.
another idea is to make a fiverr account, you can do pretty much anything on there from drawing logos, singing songs, doing voice overs, to things as simple as making discord servers or teaching people how to play video games. you can also do video editing, photo editing, setting up a social media account, making thumbnails...etc. edit: I just thought of another one, you probably can't do this on fiverr but if you are a grid note-taker then you can make digital or paper copies of your notes and sell them (maybe to your classmates, but I'm pretty sure it's illegal to sell this on campus unless its school organized, maybe not though)
I’ve been looking for a little job for such a long time. After watching what I feel like was half of UA-cam on videos of how to get a job as a student, I finally found this. It’s such a great video in my opinion and is really helping me out. Thank you so so much for all the great tips! ❤️
here is my problem I have been making losses trying to make trade. I thought to trade demo is just like the real..can anyone help me out or at least tell me on what to do.
When it comes to Trade, I can confidently say that bitcoin is the best option. But most people think it's all about buying and leaving it to rise but It takes a lot more you need to trade it to earn daily.
i'm not exactly a teen anymore but i recently just opted for the youtube option by creating this channel as a side hustle and i do agree that it's actually difficult to build up a community and to actually start getting monetized... but it's worth the hustle if you really enjoy the process and the things you make videos about! i'm doing journaling videos on my channel and honestly even if it requires me a little more time for post-prod, i am doing just the same exact things as i usually do in my free time, i just film it! thank you for this very inspirational video !!
This is really helpful! Even new moms like me who are having a hard time finding work, but are creatives and want something to do can do this. Thank you so much!
A side hustle could be to make photo reference packs for artists! I’m an artist and I love sites that give cool poses and everyday poses. Simple things like holding a pen, drinking from a mug, all from different angles.
I'm not in highschool yet, but my sister-in-law gave me the idea of starting a business in like the middle of last school year. I made $175 selling resin keychains to people at school (and a few bought earrings, I'm not sure exactly how much profit, but if I could get random people off of the street to buy my other keychains, I'd have 100 more dollars). This school year, I want to try selling notebooks, other potential school supplies, having more diverse keychains (I'm working on getting more molds, and I'm definitely going to start much earlier this school year now that I have a plan. Probably not for the first week or few of school (then again, I do know almost everyone in my grade, it's mostly the same people), but not in the middle of the year at random like last year. My friend started selling clay stuff after, which honestly suits her, since she's used to working with clay. I asked her at soccer conditioning if she's going to do it again this year, she said probably not, but I'll encourage her to.
Who else has been inlove with her recent content lately? I love watching myself grow with her, I remember the days when I used to watch her when I was young and now she is one of my inspirations to create my channel and make videos that I love😍💖
Thank you so much! I'm 14 almost 15 with social anxiety disorder and ADHD and no work experience. I don't know why on earth anyone hire me when they could hire anyone else, and even then I can't get many jobs and the jobs I can get are taken so fast especially with how the world is right now. So even if I can't get a job yet, or because I don't really feel comfortable doing so yet it's still nice to know I can still do something with my summer like I wanted and get some money.
Things that I like: selling old clothes, toys random items, or your art dog walking cat/dog sitting crochet selling babysitting sibling sitting garage sale summer jobs tutoring
Thank you so much Jasmine for all of the amazing content!!❤️❤️❤️ You’re definitely my favorite UA-camr, and you’ve inspired me to start my own studytube!
Thank you so so so much, I am going to be moving out of home for university in a couple months and I have two younger siblings so I want to make my parents' life a little easier so I needed this list ♥️💕 again, thank you, great content and hope you the best!
idea for kids: make a collection of things (rubber balls, figurines, cards etc.) and sell them at school based on their rarity and value (a normal card would be 1 dollar but a rare card would be about 5-6 dollars)
Hi my name is also Jasmine no kidding 😂 and as a student, honestly, these are really good ideas. Thank you for sharing them. Keep in mind everyone, that this pandemic will be over soon just have faith. Stay safe and God Bless 💜
10:10 Oh ho ho! That won’t be a problem living in a first-world country in Asia 😉 I’m telling you, almost everyone has a tutor,it doesn’t even matter if you get good grades, you still go to a tuition class (😖)
I have tried a lot of different things trying to improve my physical and mental health. The one that worked for me was the Forwago personalized program.

There is something about her eyes. And she is so expressive, you know talking with her hands. U keep flitting between watching her talk and looking at her eyes.
a note for instacart: my sister worked for instacart for a few months before going back to college, but from her experience, she filled the carts with the groceries, paid for them with the instacart card, and then put them into paper bags to be picked up. so you might now have to drive to people’s houses to do the instacart orders (this is just one experience tho so yea)

Thank you so much! I'm 14 almost 15 with social anxiety disorder and ADHD and no work experience. I don't know why on earth anyone hire me when they could hire anyone else, and even then I can't get many jobs and the jobs I can get are taken so fast especially with how the world is right now.
So even if I can't get a job yet, or because I don't really feel comfortable doing so yet it's still nice to know I can still do something with my summer like I wanted and get some money.
now im reeeaalllyy gonna try to be consistent in youtube now 🥰 thanks for this one!

"for teens"
me with 12 years: this maybe can help me having money while I can't work [happy]
After being lazy and always sleeping
I finally decided to earn money
Wish me luck
idea for kids: make a collection of things (rubber balls, figurines, cards etc.) and sell them at school based on their rarity and value (a normal card would be 1 dollar but a rare card would be about 5-6 dollars)
Ugh she's so calm and peaceful we don't deserve her 🤧❤️

Ngl, your editing skills are delicious!
This was such a helpful video! I was just thinking about this the other day, and will now be looking into some of these options! ❤️
I have tried a lot of different things trying to improve my physical and mental health. The one that worked for me was the Forwago personalized program.
Me: 23, finishing (literally a week from handing the thesis) my master's degree and watching this video for side hustles for teens while I'm still unemployed and unconfident about my skills and they are graphic design so when I heard the social media idea I cringed hahaha aye *cries in untalented broke I need to work harder

There is something about her eyes. And she is so expressive, you know talking with her hands. U keep flitting between watching her talk and looking at her eyes.
This video is so helpful! thank u so much!!
I WAS LUTERALLY SEARCHING THIS UP A SECOND AGO
this is actually so helpful im definitely gonna try transcriptions! thank u sm from a broke biology major w no frikin time for anything
a note for instacart: my sister worked for instacart for a few months before going back to college, but from her experience, she filled the carts with the groceries, paid for them with the instacart card, and then put them into paper bags to be picked up. so you might now have to drive to people’s houses to do the instacart orders (this is just one experience tho so yea)
i love your shirt!!!! also thanks for the ideas!
