As a beginner, I agree I have watched tons of videos for beginners on how to use my Cricut explore air 2. And I end up confused once it's time to use design space. I'm still a little confused, but this is the first video I watched that made me feel less intimidated when using my Cricut.

I finally made my very first card! It took me over 2 hours because I had to keep stopping the video and moving the slider back to repeat a lot of things. The problem is, the text on the Designer screen is very difficult to see on a video, even when full screen. I don;t know why they would ever pick such a light color on a white background. Overall this was a very good tutorial. I learned a lot from it. There was one option in the tutorial that is not on the designer screen so I guessed. That is where you choose to use the pen. For some reason, my score line turned into a solid line but I suspect that's because I didn't change from the pen tool to the scoring tool. My Cricut is 2 rooms away from my desktop so I was going a lot of running back and forth and goofed up a few times but in the end, I got it done! Will definitely subscribe and will re-do this tutorial now that I half-way understand what I am doing and why.. Thanks for a "to the point" tutorial.

@@MakersGonnaLearn I don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but can you give me any tips for writing with the gel pens on the cards? Sometimes, the writing appears faded in spots (and I'm using brand new pens!) Is there a way to increase the pressure?? Thanks much!!

The card is lovely! I would have only done the white card with the writing in the cricut, I can cute the rest with my guillotine. That way I can go straight to the edge with no waist.
