Thanks a lot! love the questions 🙂I’m working on the walkthrough video at the moment, it’s quite similar, to my usual videos, just showing some more of the process, but if it’s something people like & are interested in I’d be happy to delve more into it, I’m still getting to grips with how to show the processes and everything!

stoked to see the op1- field vid on the sampler! do you mess with chopping and pitching samples with drum sampler? i don’t have any modular besides my matriarch, but lately i’ve been very interested in building a rig that revolves around mangling external audio sources like my guitar, my op1, & my voice. I have in mind Magneto, Starlab, Panharmonium, & Beads but i’ve also considered Morphagene.

Oh man, Morphagene is great for that stuff, I couldn’t recommend it highly enough! I think my next video will be focusing on the Morphagene, so give it a look in! And yeh something like Beads is great, I can have endless fun with those two modules, Panharmonium has been on my list for a while and I’ve never bought one (yet!) maybe check out the Spectraphon from Make Noise too, it’s supposed to be good, and no I haven’t really played around with the Drum Sampler, but I think it offers some interesting possibilities that the normal sampler doesn’t!

what does the tp-7 recording into logic do?

Well just as recording onto the Tp-7 with the reel running can add some small wow, tape like flutters etc, I was experimenting with recording this into logic, which I think added even more of these things, because the play back with the reel running adds some more I think, plus I could play a little with slowing the reel down lightly with my hand for example, they may be small, slight things, but I noticed them, and I think it’s more organic than a tape emulation plugin, (I guess a better way might be to actually record to cassette tapes! But I haven’t done much of that!)
