Thanks Margaret, yeah the FB ads from my experience is a winner. The content product costs really can start to add up when doing it at scale, so is critical information to share.
Hi, I just read Jon's email and clicked immediately. Thanks for sharing this case study. You got yourself a new subscriber. Please have more case studies. Take care.
Thank you for being transparent! Definitely, I've learnt a lot. Can you please share how will you choose the topics to write which give a fair amount of views per month? And the next one is the structure of the article like how you research and write the posts - Sharing your views and tips on that ll be great. Thanks in advance!
Yeah roughly. My budget is around 40-80k. But if all goes well, I will soon be able to switch over to the revenue from the website to fuel the content investment. So out of pocked, it should be closer to 40k. Glad you liked the video :)
Great content. Thank you!. ... Question: what theme do you generally recommend for these blog websites? Also, what do you usually have on the homepage of the blog?
In short, I write very concise answers and front load the questions into the start of the first sentence of the snippet. I also aim between 40-55 words.
I have no particular method tbh. I have keywordseverywhere installed, so when I am searching for something for myself, I will take down notes on searches/niches that are not being covered. In most cases, this then leads me down the rabbit hole of finding out more.
Fantastic progress.👍 Just wanted to know what content templates and outlines you use for your information posts. Would you be able to share with us? I noticed you are targetting 350 page views a month on the conservative side. I am not able to even reach 100 per month !!! Maybe my content is not properly SEO optimised or the quality of the content is not upto the mark?
Thanks Ashok! I don't do article outlines as I train the writers to follow a certain research process. With the volume I am doing, I would not be able to make article outlines for each post.
Thanks for the awesome video and the case study. Can you share some sources from where I can learn what you've learnt? I see Carl here but are there any other people that you've mastered your techniques from? Would love to repeat the same for myself too! 🙂
Initially, I learned a lot from Matt Diggity and Authority Hacker for affiliate marketing. But for purely ad based sites, I would check out Passive Income Geek and Jon from Fat Stacks Blog. Both are killing it and follow a very similar strategy.
Love this project! Well done! How do you find so many topics with no competing articles? I have watched and listened to Both fatstacks and passive income geek now for a while but would love your additional insights here. (just read some of the other comments and I'm excited to see your videos on KW research and topic research.) Again, thanks for your videos! The motivation and insights are super helpful!!
Thanks mate! I have the benefit of doing this fulltime, so I can dedicate 2 full days to finding topics. It sometimes can be slow to find them, but it does pay off.
Hi, just came across your channel. Currently binge watching your videos. Lots of Informative Nuggets. May I know how you selected the niche for this particular website?
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed. I actually have had this idea since 2019, but never started the site. Was no real method, it just randomly popped into my head one day. I does not help I imagine!
I have an editor that does about 60% and I do the rest. I really try to train my writers well so editing is very minimal. Formatting is done by a VA that does uploading, images, SEO title, headings etc.
@@shantanuvarun9900 I have my VA do 25 HARO replies per week, which equals to $100 per week. Typically, we get 2 links out of 25 responses. Some weeks it's none, and some it's lots. But it averages to around 2 links per week.
Nice growth! Just one question - most of content is also info based but the average number of words for articles in the top 10 is 2000. Should I then be writing 2000 word articles or would 1000 be good enough?
Thanks Guru! Actually, the top 10 posts for the site that bring in the traffic range from 700-1300 words. As for how many words to write, it all depends on the topic and how in-depth you can go. I tend to go on the shorter side, but I do VERY dense articles with ZERO fluff. So the reader of my shorter articles can get the same information from an article that is 50% longer.
@@growthscouter7647 can you plz explain on which types of topics you write? What will you do to beat tge competition? Do you write longer content than them? Thanks 😊

Thanks for being honest about the costs, this gets glossed over a lot. The experiment with the FB ads was very interesting.

Nice case study! Sorry if I missed it but how many blog posts have your published in this few months?
Thanks Adrien! Not on my computer, but I think it's around 900 posts now.
Great stuff, I also am running into that problem of discovered but not indexed issue. Did manual submission help?

How are you getting (or attempting to get) a featured snippet?

Do you have any books/resources?
Or make a video on how to create snippets and different use for it...
Great knowledge
Great example, thanks, very inspiring. Regarding ad placement on linkbait posts, do you place the same number of ads, fewer ads, or no ads at all?
Thanks Gary! I do not include ads on those posts.
