Man, I joined them in 2015, had the phone interview, was added to the queue for paid membership, etc. (we don't need more metal mixers) Never EVER gotten a message that wasn't spam : /
I’m not 100% sure cause I don’t do much post. But they might. I’ve done some Dolby atmos mixes with a few clients. But that’s still in the music world.
It really depends on my schedule. I know that's not a great answer. But usually I'm booked about a week out....and that's why I left that tip cause the guy who's not booked a week out has taken my job a few times 🤣
It´s almost impossibly to become a premium provider if You are out side the holly most greatest and best country USA. It´s kind of georasism. Or my work is grab.. it’s possible too. But the decision if it’s grab or not, shoot be by the clients and not by the holly and almighty Soundbetter team. It sucks a lot.. The same is on Spotify. Shity music from USA runs up and down... but from outside.. no chance at all

learned to use threads to find clients - it's working and couldn't find clients until I moved there.
Nice! I love that finding new niches.
@@mixedbymatty I have a SoundBetter account but I found clients without it. Been finding clients online for years, off and on.
Can you elaborate on that? What kind of threads are you talking about?
I saw you have a atmos section. Shouldn't be less cheap than mixing ? Have you an atmos setup ?
Nice, I want to get into mixing for other people now that I'm more comfortable with my work... thanks.
How do you deal with artists with limited talent and songs that just won't work?
That's always a tough one. If the situation is really bad sometimes it's better to turn down the job.
@@RoyMaya and what do you do if they keep insisting?
@@Gw49172 You just tell them you're not the right person for their project.
Hi, thanks for the great video, do you know if sound better has jobs in the post-production mixing field?

@@mixedbymatty great, thanks!

How long do you do to finish the master and return it

Sorry to hear man. I think some of us here in the states take living here for granted
