dfam and 909 is a matchmade in heaven. i used to have this combo once, totally dope. TR 909 through studiomaster vintage mixer and DFAM through Metasonix F1 and reverb. Can't wait to buy again the DFAM and pair it to Roland TR8s so that i can trigger the whole shit with it
DFAM is synced to DAW by an E-RM Multiclock which is great if you need syncing for several external devices with rock solid timing. If you just want to sync the DFAM to DAW there are cheaper options, I think a Behringer Crave should do midi to clock out and would also give similar features as the Mother32/DFAM combo for cross modulation - check the manual though, don't have one myself.
@@rutgut9119 E-RM sell an adaptor (£20) called a Modular Whip that converts a midi port on the Multiclock to two 1/8 jacks for eurorack, one into run/stop and the other into adv/clock on DFAM
great patches 👍sick of videos trying to make hats and snares w/ DFAM. those sequences & patches show the way it sounds the best. DFAM is not a drum machine and it works so well with a TR or so
Perfect..... finally someone who is clear work.. we wait more like this also if you have with mother 32.. you are god bro
Excellent - thanks for sharing the patches and showing what you are changing !

Jeez. Tried patch 2 on my DFAM. Sounded nothing like your one! :-/ Your patches sound quite smooth. My DFAM is a bit of a dirty bastard!! :D
His runs through a reverb, delay, filter and has sidechain.
✊👏👏👏👏❤
you follow all the rules of techno. how boring and how powerful :D great job, thanks!
Sounds rad. May I ask how you synced tempo between the dfam and 909? Thanks.

@@sickmonkeyrecs4187 one more question; how did you connect the dfam to the e-rm? Thx.
