I was on Intrepid on oct- nov 2017 10 day trip. First my great admiration for Capt Scott n his superb crew. Every one was helpful, fun n ready to jump into the water Yes the deck hand had his snorkel ready for a huge YF over 200 was tangle up with other lines n the prop . We had all the drama of high seas fishing that you read in book and magazine n history was in the making.
We sat 3days on the Potato patch n broke San Diego’s most big fish caught on one fishing trip. We had 5 super cows over 300 with the top of 368 lbs and 17 cows over 200 lbs n 3 over 150 lbs. luckily for me I broke my personal best 236.6 lbs . I really enjoyed the trip with 26 other fisherman on board I’ll be back Intrepid 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 🎣 🖖

How much does a trip like this cost?
3k
Lol don’t listen to this jackass 3 grand is not an 8 day trip.
@@mexicanamerican21 Ok, so what DOES an 8-day trip cost?
Thought Bluefin were endangered ........
I want to catch a mahi so bad it is my dream fish but here in nj there are no boats that go out and if they do it's 800 or more for a day
How many pound of fish is each guy allowed to catch?
please tells us how to fish
What happens to the catch? Is it cooked on the trip or what?
These boats have a refrigerated sea water storage unit onboard below deck. The fish are gut and gilled and stored at roughly 35° F
Love me some tuna, have a few videos check em out!!
how much are these trips
william perezz around 2.5k$$
Branden Jew You are way off base, based upon my humble opinion.
Taking into consideration, The combined years of Fish Hunting experience of the crew exceeds 70 years, the 5 Star Cuisine, Room, showers, fishing, all for the combined daily rate, that is FAR LOWER than flying to Mexico, with all your Gear. Then, renting a Hotel, Boat, food, tips, taxis, etc. etc. The Long Range vessel IS the better deal.
I do not mind paying $5-8,000 for my trips.
i said around 2.5k because of the days it could go up to 6k
About $600 to $4,000
More like 10K
Wtf is with these stupid commercials after commercials
