One of the arcs in the web novel 'Card room' has a scene like this. This girl was in love with her friend from high school but her friend got married and had a child. Years later she killed the couple and their other close friend then the child and then committed suicide.

Hey! That "here comes the bride" and "shivers down my spine" kind of rimed.
Black veils are traditionally worn for funerals whereas white is for weddings. The god of death/the temptress/ Spider mommy Rafael J. Scrap has been seen with the black veil in El Tango Egoista and now smoke and mirrors but lacked it for Mysterium. This piece takes place before and of course after the marriage of the pastor and his wife ((I wish I had names but I've just been mentally calling them Sharon and Gezeus lol.) Their wedding it seems metaphorically "killed" the god of death via heartbreak and also resulted in Kaz's death.
White traditionally stands for purity and we see it represent as such with the wife's innocence and purity being shown through all white in her. Black being white's opposite of course makes the god of death who dawns the black veil, the opposite of purity but seeing as how they promised to get married as children one can assume the veil is supposed to represent the god of death's tainted purity and innocence through all of this. She did not have malicious intentions for Kaz and the pastor until they stole from her what she saw as hers. To her *they* are the tainted ones and the liars. She is simply trying to get back her dear one through any means necessary. The scenes for the most part all take place in the church, "The White sanctuary" Otherwise known as the "Rival agency"
"The joke goes something like this - a wretched heathen tries to lead a faltering lamb astray inside the very sanctuary he worships in. " She is just trying to lead him away from her at first, they begin with a civil conversation in the theme interpretations. Growing more and more violent only when she feels she needs to. I feel bad for all of them but the question remains: WHY WOULD THE WIFE CHOOSE HIM OVER HER HONESTLY. Rafael I have questions ;-;

Something very sad to me is the fact the demon is wearing a veil. It's such a small thing but a veil is extremely symbolic of a wedding and marriage in general, a lot of bride say it was the veil that made their dress feel like a wedding dress, not a fancy gown. The girl being depicted in white light just feels like another stab at the demon who gave up her purity for a sinful love.
So the demon singing of how she gave up everything in the belief the human girl would marry her someday, in a veil tainted black is just... Heartbreaking
It would be except i am looking it as a different frame. Starting with the words, "he says he loves but he only wants to cage your soul." To me that is the demon projecting her desires unto the boy the human girl loves. Which makes sense as he has what she wants. This is not love from her. It is obsession. The black veil could symbolize tainted purity but one of the symbols for a black veil is secret sin and the darkness in humanity's heart. Fitting for a demon trying desperately to cage the soul of the woman she loves.
It´s not that pure, she´s just jealous in an extreme sick form xd

Now this is a song that hasn't been on my mind in years. I used to listen to it a ton but over time I stopped and deleted the song for disk space reasons. Dark haired gave up her wings, didn't she? She fell in love with a mortal, and promised her to be together. It is a sin, and she became a sinner and fell. The scream was from her wings being torn off?! That would majorly explain why she is so angry about silver-hair marrying this priest. She was cast out by the same deity the priest worships and she knows that their promise will cause her to not find that salvation he has made her believe. Dark hair knows better... so she she wants to save her, all while confessing her love for her.
"He'll say he loves you even though he only wants to cage your soul."
- He wants her to follow his beliefs and worship the same god. By following him, she'd cage herself to the same set of rules that dark hair was under when she made her promise. She'll do anything, even going against God, to protect and love Silver hair, and she knows following down that path would mean potential damnation and pain similar to what she experienced.
"Please tell me that you'll stay, now that he's not in the way."
- The He here isn't just the priest, its the god he worships.

I love that how they're both ladies gives the whole song a brand new story!
Like the line 'that we'll get married when we both got older.' The Human probably they they'd both find partners of their own and be happy but the Angel of course though of the two of them becoming a thing. As they both though two separate stories, they both became devastated at the others actions; The Angel feeling betrayed and forgotten while The Human feared her friend.
I was absolutely not expecting this twist of the illusionists take on this story. But it makes perfect sense from her actions based on getting invloved with the events we have seen her in. Seems though she has lots of reason to be angry, at all the things that occurred. Makes me understand her motive and what she wanted the whole time.
I focus on the story more than most anything else when I plan uploads, so comments like these give me spurts of energy to continue! Thank you very much for being invested in the White Sanctuary verse

Oh my Gods! This just clicked after watching this I don't know how many times! The Raven haired woman was an angel, or some kind of Celestial being, and when she was a child, she and the Silver hair woman promised to get married when they were older. Since Raven is a Celestial, she probably never heard those kinds of words before - so she went wholeheartedly in on the idea of marrying this mortal. They both did. But, at some point, Silver was "fooled" by a priest or some other holy man to marry him instead (at least from Raven's perspective). So, we come to her trying to save what was always hers - the love of this particular mortal woman. There are glimpses and throughout that make me think that both women were very much in love with one another from the time they were little girls until they were both grown women.
Here is where we come to the first version Raven's plea, "I'm not asking much. Just give me your heart...". Raven is still a Celestial at this point. Everything is still white and pure. She herself is still pure. Then slow fall of Raven with the line, "This poor boy will have to die". It took some rewatches, but I finally noticed the white horns on that were on her head at this point. It wasn't until Raven severed her wings either by ripping the out or by burning them away do we truly see her fall and become tainted. I think she finally broke down when Silver was on the altar about to get married. Raven thinking that this man is lying to Silver to cage her soul by way of the church and its dogma. Then we come to the second iteration of Raven's plea, "I'm not asking much. Just give me your heart..." The whole time we see much darker imagery, with both ladies being covered in flames, and Raven's total descent into a twisted, tainted love.
What I still cannot figure out is what the butterfly represents. Typically, they represent change and metamorphosis, but, does this mean that the butterfly represents the black haired woman or the silver haired one? At the end, and even throughout, the butterfly is shown either fully and complete, or severed and bloodied. I also think the majority of the song is the "backstory" leading up to the end when Raven had killed the boy Silver was about to marry because there are three scenes that show Silver out in the rain, and Raven is low in the frame, meaning we are looking over her shoulder at Silver.

Oh the vocals and visuals foe this series have been nothing but amazing! You should all be super proud of yourselves here!
I think the story here is a very sad tale regrading a fallen angel ("the temptress"), a priest, a hunter, and the poor hunter's wife. Despite the intentions of the temptress seemly finding interest in seducing the little lambs (the two holy men, the priest and the hunter that she managed to mess with) she never really cared for them, she never really liked them whatsoever. In fact they where the biggest obstacle in her way to get for what she really wanted; the hunter's wife.
In a time where where she was a mere Innocent child among god (a pure, white angel), she managed to fall for a young maiden girl who promised they'd be together. The temptress would take her promise in full. I'm not sure what corrupted the fallen angel in the end, but I wouldn't put the idea of falling for a mortal woman and abandoning her godly duties as something that could of finally got her kicked out. Not that any of that mattered to her, besides, her only love is for the wife, no one else, never anyone else. She will not let anyone get in the way for them, even if it means becoming a monster to be with her. Which is, very ironic given what she ends up doing in the end.
As the two god older, the temptress falls more and more into her dark persona and the young maiden falls for someone else other then her, driving the temptress to doing whatever it takes to get rid of this person, no mater the cost. She easily starts off by killing and corrupting the hunter's friend, the priest, it's almost an act of mocking the hunter on his part. You take something of hers, she will take something of yours.
Next comes the hunter himself, a very strong holy man, but talks back and forth between the temptress and the hunter himself, he starts to question himself. His loyalty in full to god dies along with his wife, as the poor woman is accused of being a witch and set up at the stake to burn. Similar to the temptress, his love for the wife turns him to doing whatever it takes to save her. He makes a deal with the temptress, putting himself in her debt, giving up his humanity to pull what's left of his wife from the burning rubble of the cross.
Whether or not the wife is dead is ambiguous, but either, whether she's talking to the girl or her soul, the wife makes it clear she loves the man in full despite the temptress attempts to "reason" with her. So, the temptress uses the hunter, now her precious little pawn, as a bargaining chip. "Him or me, choose, him, or me."

The angel fell after she kissed the human, there's a part where it basically says "I swear my life to you, no matter the consequences" and then you see the scene of her bound in chains and fire from like 2:15 to 2:22.

The power you put into that last line makes me imagine that the demoness is shedding tears of anger that this man took away the woman she treasured. The demoness would be smiling a pained smile, but that frustration and anger is in her eyes.

Mkay so I know this is like my second comment on here BUT I have a theory (sorta)
So the demon used to be an angel who was in love with the human girl, which (if some don’t know) is a major sin for angels. So the angel ended up falling and becoming a demon, and the girl moved on. The demon, saddened and angered by this, tried to stop the wedding the best she could. I don’t know what happened with the girl being accused of witchcraft in El Tango, but maybe it was a hallucination made to trick the hunter? That’s all I have for now, I’ll add more if I think of something :)
That would make sense, seeing as the human girl doesn't seem very dead in this song. I think that was the 'game' the demon spoke of playing that the human girl had to play along with.
The demon wouldn't need to kill the boy if he thought his lover was dead, he would be out of the way but alive. So the girl had to play along and pretend to be dead if she didn't want her lover hurt. Only for the demon to not trust that she wouldn't run off to be with him again and killed him anyways.
I've been following this since the beginning and I just have to say I LOVE the story development! Not only that, but the outstanding quality of every video is mind blowing. The details are gorgeous! Each time I rewatch it I notice something new. I can't even begin to imagine how much effort you put into this. The emotional portrayal in the visuals and vocals gets me every time; it's so impactful and beautiful. I'm not sure how to express it all. The Temptress reminds me of Homura. Becoming something they weren't before for their love. Homura loved Madoka so much, she became a devil. And The Temptress loves the wife so much, she's willing to kill the pastor.

KYAAAAAAAAA!!! IT'S BACK, IT'S BACK, IT'S BACK!! And oh my GOD was it worth the wait!!! It is absolutely GORGEOUS!! The vocals, the emotions in the vocals, the video itself - do you actually DRAW for all of these covers/chapters/videos you make yourself?? The art is steadily improving over the course of all your videos, so if it is you, it's another amazing thing to watch, honestly.
But-! **SQUEALS** THAT PLOT TWIST!! I was WONDERING what that woman had to do with the plot over the last 2 songs, BUT NOW EVERYTHING IS MAKING SENSE!
The way I personally "read" this video: the angel "white haired girl" fell in love with a mortal and made a pact to be married one day, no matter what. The mortal girl (black haired girl) agreed to the pact, "no matter what the consequences". But (according to Christianity or whatever -rolls eyes-) two creatures of the same sex promising themselves to each other is, like, the ultimate sin (or something). As punishment for creating the pact, the 'sinners' lost what was most important to them. The angel was exiled from heaven and became mortal, while the mortal was slain and became the goddess of death, probably forced to do some horrific things/through horrific things. Fearing what God may do if she disobeyed again, she tried to wipe her mind of what happened and the girl she once loved (or may still love?), tried to stay loyal to the church, and even married a pastor (I think, trying to remember from El Tengo Egoista (sp?). But the now-goddess of death never forgot about her love, and kept her eye on her past lover, growing enraged when the other tried to forget about their pact to be together forever despite whatever may happen to them.
So she prevents her old love an ultimatum. Admit you love me unconditionally and not your "husband" truthfully, or I'll destroy your husband and everything that had to do with him so that you'll only choice is to be with me.
OR I could be CONPLETELY wrong. But I love giving my own interpretations of what I think is happening in the middle of an ongoing series of some kind while I wait to see what happens next. ^~^ And then being proven completely wrong. ^w^ Helps get the mind flowing.
But, yeah, anyway, sorry about the huge comment. So so so glad you (guys) are back!! Amazing cover, beautifully creepy video, I really hope there is more to come to this series..eventually..!
