Thanks to UA-cam, I've discovered that from the 1970's through the '90s, many local stations across the country televised local bowling tournaments -- tenpin, candlepin and even duckpin. Here in the Wichita area, there was a tournament in the '80s and '90s called the Gold Pin Challenge that was aired from various centers around town, featuring bowlers from across Kansas. It was aired on the local NBC station during the '80s and the local CBS station in the '90s. Too bad those locally televised tournaments are pretty much gone now.
The terms of Brooklyn side New York came from the bowlers in New York being New York city being on the right and Brooklyn being on the left. That was told to me from back in the 1960s when i was first introduced to bowling.
I wish the PWBA channel had this level of production. Well done!
57:20 That was Del Ballard, Jr., March 1991, Fair Lanes Open.
Wow ! 38th year. That's incredible. Nice job.

38 years and still cheap. {2000.00}
Wow, that solid 8 pin in the first match!!!! 😮
Good thing Randy Pedersen wasn't on the call 😂
Awesome to see...
Not everyday you get the gift of hearing a bowling commentary about Mr. Ed and urine.
Yeah, not something you'd hear on a national PBA broadcast.
Great Step Ladder Finals.👌

Good presentation.
Except the mouse clicking. Pretty distracting
Was that Jakob butturff in the audience?
Wasn't Mark Roth. It was Dell Ballard Jr.
Does Budweiser really sponsor him?
Not a "newly minted" women in sight.
The front angle view is not good for spectators.
Looked like a brutal condition.
Fix the microphones ; annoying Clicks constant !!!
What is up with that irritating sound? Sounds like someone is knocking a Plastic Bottle on a table???
Wolf needed to go to something weaker and circle it a little with slower speed. That mythic Jackal was DOA
Beautiful facility, much nicer than any of ours,, but our bowling in Cincinnati is better.
