Wow. this intro left me breathless and I'm all boosted up now. Holy sht I can't believe it, it's sweet and sour (in a good way) at the same time, perfectly balanced. Plus the cheering and all. Oh my I don't even know where I live anymore
Dayum! That Stank Look! That Gibson wanted to smoke a cigarette after that! I know I did! Rest in Power, before you head to that Great Gig in the Sky 🩷 Sir Russell, thank you for your gift.
@@zokxzoranovski5255 I’ve enjoyed music from many excellent artists. My favourite guitar man was Roy Clark, loved his sense of humour as well as his music. There’s a wealth of great music around. I looked for Diana & Russell’s too but haven’t found it.
Without disrespecting him, he uses all the plans of traditional Blues in E minor with blues note.I learned this when I was a teenager with an old american black guy. It's so suitable for a blues guitarist There's virtually no risk.On the other hand, I would really like to play on his hollow body guitar

Good guitar!?!? This is Nat King Cole's lead guitarist - one of the most influential jazz singers of our lifetime. To play with Nat, you had to have more than chops, baby.
Of course they were heavily influenced by Nat Cole. Russel was in the early Krall trio on the first few albums and they even covered Nat Cole songs. Later guitarists in her bands were Bernstein and Anthony Wilson. She is literally a Nat Cole cover band.
Love the voice and piano touch of Diana! RIP Russell!
Oh my god the guitarist bass, and wow wow piano wow wow piano wows piano wow, just wow.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Diana never ceases to dazzle me with her brilliant innovation.
Never heard a guitar player like Russell. Awesome!
We lost another Great Artist 😢
Right!
Under-appreciated. Should have won the DownBeat polls. I never heard another jazz guitarist lay down the blues like Russell.
I have never heard of these guys, but glad I have now! Russell Malone especially! They are awesome 👏
If you don't know Diana Krall, you've been missing out. This is a small sample of what she does to make other artists sound great. :)
They are jazz artist dipping into a blues number

She just perfect everytime ❤
Still wondering how Elvis Costello scored her...jussayn 😅
Tears in my eyes ... RIP maestro ... 😢
My son plays guitar. 6 years I heard him practice now very good. Like his uncle who played with Bert Weedon .years ago.
Next to my wife, Diana Krall and Amy Grant are the most beautiful women God ever put on the face of this earth.
I would say: 1. Amy Grant 2. Your wife 3. Diana Krall
She’s covering her improv like nobody’s biz
Well😮

Absolutely - humble, wholesome, full of grace !!!! True beauty.
Oh man was I impressed when Diana came in and matched with outstanding Malone.
Nice guitar opening! I sam Russell in Mumbai, India with Willie Jones III. I love his playing!
I saw him in Davis California behind Sonny Rollins
