@@suzannesavage9138 is angel a female rat i take it and unlike wild sewer rats do they not carry fatal deadly diseases that can be transmitted through a bite and are the teeth of pet rats not as strong as wild sewer rats that they cant bite through your bones bite off a finger chew through wood steel bricks iron metal and wires and surely a bite from them even a hard bite isnt nearly as excruciatingly painful as a small dog breed bite or a cat bite

Rats mostly stay in cages, but they can be let out and roam around if you’re in the room with them. There’s no reason they shouldn’t be fine overnight, but if you’re worried about leaving them alone, maybe get a pair of siblings?

When I had ratties, they loved watermelon in the hot summer months and chilling with us under the air conditioning.
