I love your colors on all cards. Easy and effective looking cards.
I liked this basic idea so much that I had to try it right away. But I used a piece of acetate attached to the pop-up box and glued a large "Happy Birthday" die cut to that. It looks like it is floating.

This is such a great technique video. Such a perfect card for birthdays. We recently moved and my craft room is no where near done. I have to order some custom cabinets for a wall. I have been so overwhelmed with work between the new house and the old house. Now more than ever I need some crafting time to decompress. I even bought a new stand or sit desk months ago, and it is the one thing my movers forgot in my old
Garage.
Your videos have been inspiring lately, it makes me want to play with my supplies. I am going to use this feeling today to get my butt in gear and unpack the mountain of boxes filling my dining room. So I can justify going back to designing my craft room and not feel guilty and overwhelmed by the mess of the boxes everywhere.
Jennifer these cards are simply a game changer. The stencils are really awesome and I love both the single and double pop ups. It would be great to just sit down and make a bunch of pop ups so they're ready for those quick and easy cards. Thanks for always sharing your ideas and talents and inspiring.

I just loved these projects, you made them look so easy !! I'd like to get one of those Sticky Mats, having suffered strokes, its' tricky holding projects down for marking etc so this looks ideal. Thanks alot.
Oh my goodness. These are just the cutest cards ever!! Love the clever pop up feature, too. I was taking notes throughout...even though I have a "save" file with your name on it! But I had not planned on buying anything. HOWEVER...when it comes to stencil layers, I decided I had to have them. Ordered them from Pretty Pink Posh...So now I'll be the proud owner of all 3 sets. And I can't wait to watch the video following this one. One thing for sure...I have oodles of stamp sets for the sentiments and other parts of the cards. And with my Cricut, I can cut things such as the cake layers and stand with that. I can't thank you enough...because I, too, need to make lots and lots of birthday cards. Within the next two months, I have 5 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two of my adult kids and two in-law kids having birthdays!!!! Can't wait to begin making them all!

I have the brutus monroe sticky mat and need tips on how to dismount the card stock without ruining it.
It is sticky! Instead of peeling the card off of the mat like I usually would, I peel the mat off of the card front.

I have a Brutus Monroe sticky mat , but I have a real problem with it sticking too well and ruins my cards when I try to get them off. What do you do to "condition" the mat so it doesn't do this???
You may have noticed that I peel the mat away from the paper vs peeling the card off of the mat. That is because, as you said, it's pretty sticky
What brand white heat embossing powder is your favorite?
There are a lot of great ones, but I've used Hero Arts the most.

What kind of tape do you use?
Jennifer, how do you stencil and not get ink under through stencil around the cut out areas ? No matter what brush I use, this happens, unless I use PIXIE SPRAY. I don't want to always have to use this spray, because I can't get it at any local store.
The new Brutus Monroe and My Sweet Petunia (MISTI) sticky mats are a great solution for this
