Hi Gina, I just watched this video, your card is beautiful and heard your comment about your dad and the butterfly. My mum passed away in 2000 and was cremated. She loved her mum and we took her ashes to be placed in her mother's/nan's grave where she always wanted to be. My 2 sisters and I placed her ashes, said a prayer for her, told that we loved her then moved away from the grave and stood there for a few minutes. Out of the grave where we had placed her ashes flew this huge big black and white butterfly. It came over and circled above us 3 times then flew off. We watched in awe as mum wore a lot of black and white. To us it was a sign from mum that she was happy and where she wanted to be, we were happy then that mum was back with her mum. I love butterflies, they are a symbol of love, peace and out of something ordinary comes something of beauty, Love the cocoon story.
When my birth mother died in hospice care they put a butterfly on the outside of her door. I thought that was just the most precious thing to do! I never thought much about that until I heard you talking about it! Blessings!
How did i miss this 😮!!?? My friend just recently asked me if I can do a pop up cards? Well now i can! Her birthday is in a few days. I will make one for her birthday and surprise her 🥰. Yaye thanks Gina!!😊👍
Hi love your tutorials and your rapport with your husband his word of the day is always fantastic and great fun look forward to that too watching you at moment on you tube can't wait to see the final card reveal take care Regards Anne
Love the butterflies. I have some laying eggs in one of my plants on the backyard. Now we have some chrysalis and waiting for them to become butterflies again!!
Oh my gosh Gina, you out did yourself. This card is so beautiful. I'm so excired since my butterfly bundle arrived today. Thank you for being such an amazing teacher and so generous with your ideas!!!
Watching on replay. What a great live - so much inspiration! The colors on the butterfly are fabulous! I love the analogy the funeral director told you about cremation & the butterfly. Very heartwarming. I’ve never been comfortable with the idea of being buried under ground, so cremation seemed a much better option. I was surprised when, after my father’s passing, he was cremated but then we buried his ashes in the family plot. I remember holding his urn on the way to the cemetery and really wishing we didn’t have to bury it. When my mother passed last fall, she too was cremated. However, we buried the majority of her ashes in the family plot, but each of us kids has a small urn with some of her ashes. Somehow this feels better to me. ❤
Awesome technique, Gina! Thanks for sharing and teaching us the easy pop-up card, that we don't need to have a special tool or die cut to make it work!
Hi Gina & 🤠 This card is stunning! More insert ideas would enhance your beautiful card fronts. I mostly add a folded piece of decorative notepad paper that compliments the colours on the front. Will use this for my next card! TFS & a bit of FUN!🤗💐🦘🦘🦘& it's raining in Adelaide S.A.👋
Yes I just binge watched your last few episodes to catch up! Thanks for so much fun today, missing my daughter, I dropped her off at college yesterday, you guys cheered me up! Thank you!
