Guillaume Lo-A-Njoe: 30 Years - Escape from the Rectangle

Guillaume Lo A Njoe, (born in Amsterdam, june 25th 1937, [e-mail]) is known for his beautiful colourful and cosmic art. Some described his work as 'post Cobra expressionistic'; but his art is unique. The Amsterdam artist just tries to interprete the universe.
In this video portrait he explains how he did this by painting in hexagonal and octagonal frames. We see his work in a 'serial sequence' on nice music, while Guillaume gives his personal vision and explains how he started to 'escape from the rectangle' some 30 years ago. This video shows how a unique, wonderful and monumental collection came into existence.
His work will be exhibited in Galerie Connie Bos at the Zwanenburgwal 178 en 184 in Amsterdam,( Noord-Holland, 1011 JH ) in april 2014.
