Most of Graham's riffs on The Great Escape are insane. In a good way... but they're just so fucking weird. Nobody else would play like that over the same songs.
I remember this being aired. It was on a show called the white room on channel 4. I think they also played could be you and the universal for the first time on tv. my my what a truely wonderfull band.

I think she originally got into them because she fancied Damon, but either way it set me up for life. We have 100's of taped VHS's from the 90's & this White Room one being one of them :) love this band!
I saw this live version before I bought the Great Escape...somehow the album version just doesn't compare to Damon screaming and banging his head on the microphone.
