I can tell you that within just 4 blocks of my home (in every direction), there are currently at least 5 empty/foreclosed homes & at least 5 abandoned, run down or burned out buildings. I've actually seen text in my dreams as a kid. It wasn't scrambled, which sounds like it should've been impressive... But somehow dream me completely messed up my Warrior Cats OC by making her grey instead of ginger.
Oddly, this made sense to me.
I've never seen text in my dreams (that I remembered afterward) but I do get people speaking different languages in my dreams, and other people find this weird because they hear no language at all - they just kinda 'get' what a person in the dream is saying without hearing real words. Brains are weird and diverse like that.
Dreams will make references to past dreams that I didn't even consciously remember anymore but need frequent reminders of how exactly my blorbos that I think about literally every day are like. Why. Also yeah reading things in dreams is a thing I've done.
I have recurring (? It's not the same but instead a connected timeline) dreams that's so realistic that i was in it for days but only 6 hours in reality. I always can read them and even see in the mirror. I once told my friend this and they call me a liar so i guess different people, different brains

It depends on how they say it not necessarily the phrase itself. To say you're never going to share anything personal with that person again just because they don't know what to say doesn't mean that they don't care and that you shouldn't do it, it just means that that person doesn't really know verbally how to comfort somebody even though they do care.
