It's a time loop. Ncuti said, "I'm okay because you fix yourself." Which means, eventually he will turn into the 15th Doctor and be recalled to save himself before moving on. People weren't paying attention.
@@ennayanne Because it is. 15 is from the future. Bigenerational from what I can make out from BTS and dialogue... This is not two doctors, this is still one Doctor. 14 will eventually regenerate completely in to 15 at the point we see him do it here. 15 comes from WAYYYY in to the future in a way, after 14 has lived a normal life. 14 is effectively living a normal-ish life as a means to rehabilitate himself and for once in his existence, rest. When he has done that (maybe a million years like he said to Donna in ep2) he will be ready to go and the time line goes back to the regeneration in to 15. It's a bit like a meta Crysis but rather than two timelords at the same time, it's one split over two timelines
Interestingly, after "The Split" the Closed Captioning identified Tennant's 14th Doctor as "Tenth Doctor" whenever he spoke while still atop the UNIT building.
The Giggle was a crazy special for sure, but I really liked it. It was both Weird & Wonderful. I loved Neil Patrick Harris as the Toymaker. Teared up a little seeing the Doctor so happy at the table scene.
My reaction was pretty much exactly the same as yours! I loved this episode. This is one of those episodes that when the reaction channels who are way behind current episodes reach this one, I'll drop everything to watch and see what they have to say.

Ahhh, so Gatwa isn't just a clone. That "Older" lineto me makes it seem that 14, when shot, was si.ple removed from the rest of the regeneration Cycle, so Gatwa, while having 14s memories and experiences, is every other Doctor ezcept 14 in a way? I don't know how to word what I'm trying to say. Hope you can follow XD

Doctor Who RIP This is so hard. On the one hand, I agree with not giving this stuff attention. Whether positive or negative, attention is what they want. On the other hand, how can we let them keep destroying everything we love?
What? What are they destroying? And who are "they" and why do they want attention, and for what purpose? Or let me guess, because it's "woke" right? Even though Doctor Who has been woke for decades, but you know, whatever. It's the same with Star Trek and how it suddenly became "woke" recently. So let me guess now. The new Doctor is black. Woke, right? The new Doctor might be gay or bi, woke right?

Finally a TARDIS that K-9 could actually enter.. 🙂
Thanks for the reactions - hope to see you for the Christmas special.
I love it when they break canon because they then mend it into the most interesting shapes! It was an amazing episode! Cannot wait for Christmas 💜💜➕🟦

That's not at all what he meant... how on earth could it be a time loop?

@@ennayanneYes it is. 15 is more mentally stable because 14 took the time to settle down with Donna. Therefore he is from the future.

He finally got his happy ending.

This was Russell's best episode imo. Loved the emotional rollercoaster of it all
Loved this one. My favourite kind of tone.

Basically, the Doctor underwent mythosis XD
Sort of, but 15 is from the future. From AFTER 14 spends "a million years" getting his head right
Me all episode:
“Barney… is that you?” 😂
Same! That is all I knew this guy for😂
I had no idea he was so talented lol
agreed, this was a great episode
A brilliant episode!!!

I never picked up on the split clothing until watching Watch with Marcella.
Goodbye Doctor
And hello Doctor!

I reckon 14 will become the Valyard...
what? what?? WHAT????
If Donna was Princess Kate she'd be a in world of trouble for that comment.
Not true. They are exactly the same age!
So you can beat the toymaker with a game of catch? A little simple or is it just me? 🤔Lol
You can beat The Toymaker with any game. He's bound by the rules of said game, so if he loses then that's that.
Any game. All you have to do is win.
Any game, catch, cards, monopoly. Play and win and he’s gone.

This is really not doctor who! I wish good luck for the series!!!
This is more Doctor Who than Chibnall's mess.
This is… the Who-iest Who…
Up until the regeneration, sure, then it gets wacky and unrealistic@@jamesmontgomery7074
