I got the Mercury Living Presence CD recording of this on a lark at a resale store since I was in a borrowed car that didn't have bluetooth hookup-the CD never left the tray it's such a lovely little album that just loops very very well. A new favorite.
This is the best recording for this concerto. I have a cassette tape of this record. When I was 15, I listened to it everyday, still not tired of hearing it time after time.

Il s'agit d'une commande de la famille Romero, formant un quatuor, le membre le plus connu étant Pepe Romero. Es una pena que de Joaquin Rodrigo solo se mencione el Concierto de Aranjuez. El concierto Madrigal es otra maravilla, con su zapateado... Fantasia para un gentil hombre y su españoleta... Este hombre era uno de los grandes.

I've only recently begun interest in Rodrigo's compositions, but they've captivated me immediately! The Spanish flavor is just wonderful!
