@@ultraminecraft69Same. I bought an '07 CXS V8 in 2018 and I think I've seen another V8 maybe only twice. Man, I've been talking about adding some MagnaFlow mufflers for years now. And hearing this video again makes me even more anxious to do it! Other priorities have had to take precedence, but when the time is right!... I'm doing it doggone it! 🚗💨
Delete the mufflers as well and it’ll be A LOT louder with crackle. Trust me. I have an 07 CXS. Bought it with only 46k miles and I’m now at 75,856 miles.
I have the exact same car mine is a 2006 dark blue with all leather interior power everything with 6disc CD changer in dash bose radio. I was told to leave the resonator in and delete the mufflers for the best sound. I'm kinda curious as to what it would sound like that way cuz just buying some clamps and straight pipe at local parts store is cheap
If you want to go the cheap way like I did cut the resonator and muffler I think this guy in the video just has the muffler delete but yours will sound better with the resonator AND the muffler delete.
bigjremy24 I got 1 and I want that exact sound I like the poping when it die down u can't get ahold of them and see or look under the car and see if u see a part number
Young Rydah they did it under the table/cash/off the books so they aren't sure what it was. they said its a 14" magna flow style. but cutting out the resonator is what really gave it that crackling sound. sorry I couldnt be more help.
I’m getting one soon
Would've NEVER guessed some of those came with V8s🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
It's like once in a blue moon you actually see a v8 lucerne. I own one, but I swear I have never seen another v8 in person.
I just bought an 09 Super off Carvana

Another car I didn’t know that came with a V8 is the Lacrosse
Love it bro
I have the CXS. I love that growl every time the motor starts. the CXL is the 3.8 Liter. The CXS or the Lucerne super is the 4.6 liter northstar V8
The cxl did come with the 4.6 as an option
@@kylestotts3732 the Lucerne CXS has proven to be a rock solid car. Haven’t had any problems with it.
@@cimplexsounds I was just speaking with what knowledge I do have. I actually have a cxs myself
Same
I’ve also got a cxl Lucerne and want to do something similar

I wanna do something like this to my 09 cxl. Any tips and ideas would be appreciated

The cxs is the v8 your cxl wont sound the same. Its a v6 just note that.
so make it sound like that
I love that sound, I have a Northstar 4.6 what's the name of those mufflers.
Don't know which this is, but a couple of good brands are MagnaFlow and Flowmaster. Can't really go wrong with either.
Any drop in mpg's?
what's the part number on them mufflers I like that sound
Young Rydah sorry, I don't have a part number. but I just asked my muffler shop for a knock off magna flow and thats what I got.
