Space Station 13 is a game that you're not going to understand unless you play. It's not a game you can learn by watching or reading, and it is a game you certainly won't master in your first day, week or month. Space station 13 is one of the most insane experiences of my life, a game that has occupied my time for over a decade now. Space station 13 is the roguelike of roguelikes for me, the most wonderful piece of human created madness, and certainly on equal footing with dwarf fortress in terms of sheer complexity. Please join in as I embark again, for just another day on space station 13.

Traitor QM Checkers telling people to stay out off of the disposals belt so that they definitely do that and wind up in the grinder always makes me laugh.

Checkers I love your CE videos, but you have to remember to actually turn the SMES units on. You have the Input enabled, but the output is disabled, so no power is actually getting distributed to the station.
Another stream where chats losing its mind about power, and checkers someone where else, think he visits engineering one point and looked all active so wondering if same mistake xD

QM Checkers is a classic due to the sheer amount of shenanigans, but I'd say my favorite just because of how devious and truly powerful they could be... Checkers the Chemist.
I really would like to see goon miner Checkers, I think you'd like this job. Easy to understand but if you dig deep, it's insanely deep. Also, very comfy. On space maps you pull the asteroids into mineral magnet or take the shuttle to the diner and travel around asteroid field, on ocean maps you mine in the trench which is basically underwater lavaland. And it has sharks with machine guns

Maybe the QM Checkers is most iconic, and CE Checkers has a high level of hilarious tomfoolery (like that one time you yeeted an antag into the PTL), so I don't think I can choose.

I'm a fan of QM Checkers, But CE Checkers is hilarious as well. Corporate Liason is very dependent on adminfuckery, so really depends on who is on CM. Love your games of SS13, my games kind of...don't do well. Either dying in 5 seconds, or roaming around doing nuthing at all, even as QM.
There's ERAs of checkers, which I find to be interesting.

Remember that episode where the bio engineer gave you super farts? That plus a couple assistants, boom fart farm. Engery crisis solved.
Insane Corporate Liaison Checkers is my favorite for laughs. Super serious about his breakfast foods while everyone else is dying horribly.
But QM Checkers is a classic and I love it all the same. Chief Engineer Checkers is insane and glorious!

CL Checkers are some of your best videos, in my opinion, but that role is depend on how others interact with you. Sometimes you just get weirdo MPs who don't want to do anything but play their police role.
I like a Checkers hard at work, with high shenans included.

Chem checks - educational and mischievous!

I really enjoyed both QM and CL, mostly because both resulted in crazy interactions with people. Also, my D&D brain reads CL as ‘chaotic Lawful’, which I think is a perfect summery of how you played that.
CE also gets up to some truly fantastic madness.
QM checkers and CE checkers are the ultimate forms of the extra-dimensional man. Throwback to the occasional chemistry checkers, famous for his SPEED.
Chemistry on TG is massively changed though, the chemists now have a massive room to make some kind of chemical factory a la factorio. Meth factory? Maybe.

I did a hell burn on Bay when the SM went fucky and got launched out the ship it made more energy than I EVER saw on that server. It was going great until the room exploded into hellfire because the pipes caught fire. Sadly I wasn't wearing a hardsuit or suit at all save a fire suit (it was warm before) I managed to be able to get out a very long scream about God abandoning me for my sins for trying to make more power screaming about how I angered the holy fire. Weirdly enough I had about the ENTIRE medical team and engineering pull some JOJO shit and teleport into the control room the doctors were surprised I survived I managed to make a recovery by getting FBP
I met s Grey old man in a wheelchair next to a camp fire in space station 14 yesterday. That man's name was Benson Abernathy, and I paid my respects! Very cool!

I spent 2 days trying to get a hellburn going and EVERY SINGLE TIME some shitbird ran into engineering and started fucking with things and ruined it.
i've been playing on citadel for + a year now since tg bagil/sybil went to shit, i avoided the worst of it.
and fyi citadel space is just flatout 8x more lethal then basic tg space, you only live for a few seconds to grab a space suit outside.
and a few months ago we had a realist space heating coefficient pr, that got pulled the round after due an oopsie.
turns out, space started cooking, along with the entire station.
i was in mining said round with a sabotaged t-com uplink to the station so .. unware of the screaming on coms station side.
i take the mining shuttle up to the station, and get cooked in like.. 6 seconds. mind you i was in metastation cargo, so on the.. almost other side of the station from where the engi loop was cooking.
out of the 87 crew, only 4 escaped to cc and 12 to mining, i wasn't one of them.
i was stuck in the cloning buffer with a few other crew in the prescanned auto-cloning cycle, just to get cooked in 2 seconds after popping out.
Sadly goon changed engineering last time I played so that broken pipes leak all pressure quickly.

The hellburn corporate quatermaster would be best. Because that person gets the RP. Builds a hellburn engine and causes a lot of fun because they want to make money no matter the cost.

Way late to this but personally I like all the Checkers shenanigans no matter what the role. It is good seeing a person play so many different roles and have fun in all of them.
Darth Plagueis the Burned was a dark lord of Goongineering so powerful and so wise that he could use the trace gases emitted from farts to create power

I think i like, of all Checkers, HOP Checkers. HOP Traitor Checkers is pretty great too but just HOP Checkers in general. I dunno, something about seeing people come to you and being clearly shady and asking for things and how the rp goes. Its great, since you tend to be a enabler as long as people are not being outright fucky wucky. QM Is also glorious, but i think QM And Enginneering Checkers are on the same level for me, personally. In terms of enjoyment i mean.

Well I don't have cancer as of yet long story but I will say this the current week job I have is very Demeaning there have been many Friday morning when I have come home Burnt out beaten and exhausted and your space station 13 vids were the only thing that could make me feel better hell I remember a few of those Thursday night thinking just make it through the night and you can have something to eat and watch one tex,s Space station 13 vids .my favorite Checker,s is Checkers the traitor .

Mining Checkers, CE Checkers, QM Checkers are all great, but I really really enjoy Chemist Checkers- you always attract SO MUCH BAD STUFF when you chemist! It makes for great viewing. Alien Checkers is also good.
As for Unitystation being filled with shitters, it’s a side effect of a lack of gameplay. It actually happened with SS13 too back in its earlier days. It’ll get better as more stuff is added.
I certainly hope so. Its why I dont want to play it right now. I want to see it when it has something more than terrorism.

My fave was corporate liaison checkers when people played along, or even rped against. However, there's a couple of episodes where CL Checkers struggled to really get people to actually play along with his shenanigans, so imo, he has the highest highs and the lowest lows.

I played Unitystation right now. i think its the same SS 13 feeling but much more smoother. Really nice.
