To understand vodou, one has to have three qualities. First being an evolved human being. Second, knowing the concept of the scientific method and not afraid to acquire knowledge and finding the truth and finally, you can not be among those who are taking pleasure in human suffering.
This is lesson 1 of the 26 Lessons. To learn more:

This was an excellent video. Why did you stop? This topic is highly needed since I don't think there are NO other channels on UA-cam that explain it in this matter. You should really consider continuing this lesson.
AGREED!!!
A thorough explaination, at last. Free of commercialization and expressed in an articulate fashion. THANKS!
Strong explanation, great message!! Vodou needs more of this type of energy and approach.
Blessings

Thank you brother. I love the way the bird connects with you. I would to learn all the Veve. Is there a book I can get to learn?
Indigenous African hypnotism ("trance") symbol
Nope, the Veve's are Haitian.
Dave Lopes they are massively emphasized in Haiti, exclusively, but their roots are also in Dahomey. I've seen sand drawings in Benin at the doors of Vodun shrines.
@@brandonh.6324 That is incorrect. These never existed in Dahomean Vaudoun. These drawings you saw are recent imitation of Haitian Vaudou veves. They have also started using these Haitian Veve's in Louisiana Vaudou.
@@davelopes6900 can u please inbox me I would love I gain more knowledge on veve and Haitian vaudou by grandmother practice in Haiti here in the u.s my mother wont even speak of it but I feel so drawn to it.
Kimberly Altidor Go to Haiti, to the source. Be careful who you learn from.
Looks like candle symbols and other similar shapes
We call you back for lesson 2
Is there a book that shows all of the veves?
its time for lesson 2
Where are he rest of the lessons?
i was not ready for the bird
when can we expect another video
Where is the rest of the lessons??? Just one???
whats the song on the background?
Can I use it for orisa esu that veve?
No
No that’s an Ochossi Veve Not Elegua
Is the music necessary? Sounds creepy 🤔
The link does not work
This is Nsibidi. Veve originated from Nsibidi.
Nope, These Veves are Haitian
@@davelopes6900 , where did Haitians come from? I think Afrikan Intelligence is correct.
@@ultraneat3 , Do you not understand that people create new things in new environment. Haitian culture is not African culture. It is a creole culture derived from dozens of different African cultures and European culture (mainly French).
Do you think everything in black American culture is from Africa?
There are no VEVEs in any west African religions. These were created in Haiti by a new Haitian culture. Don't speak on a subject you know nothing about. Ou konprann ki sa mwen di'w? (that's Haitian creole)
Dave Lopes everything in black Culture does come from Africa
It may have changed, it may have morphed, but it's roots lay in Africa.
So Eye see the rest of the lessons are on an app. Want to get it but it’s only for an Android phone😢😢😢Eye have an iPhone 😔
🤣
Where's the lessons
How do we find them and how do we know they are legit?
