Is "Queues snake through Gatwick" the sequel to "Snakes on a plane"?
I don’t think so no
Obviously not. It’s the Prequel
@@greglinski2208 Really?
@@greglinski2208 Poch mo hon.
This is why we must keep cash.
Absolutely spot on the promises made to Canadians turned out to be lies as the truckers strike proved. We must object to digital currency never mind the equally incompetant tax people day dreams of an easy life.
@@alan4yt All currency is digital. Money does not actually exist, why do you think that note in your hand holds any value? Banking has been digital since the early 80s.
They are definitely preparing for something...
Well if it's stupid comments, then you are at the top of the list bro.
@JJKMail Thank you for proving my point.
@JJKMail Keep digging. You're only proving my point more and more with each reply buddy.
@JJKMail You're probably an anti-vaxxer too right?
Make sure you got £500 in cash tucked away and plenty if tinned food is my advice !
Good advice!
Always keep cash. This happens too much not to.
Why 500
Fractional silver coins
Another reason to keep cash

Is that you Carol? 😂😂
One company having a monopoly and constantly buying out and stopping new start ups is not a good idea. No redundancy in this system at all?!?!
@@jdzero5978 you don't understand subsidiaries do you
@@jdzero5978 You might not understand how monopoly works. If just one company (Microsoft, who uses security services of Crowdstrike for Azure cloud) provides a service to everybody = Everybody has a problem when something goes array.
OP is arguing for diversity and possibility in choosing your service providers. (Which keeps competition at its toes; drives better prices for consumers and businesses; propels innovation; aaaaaand prevents the whole world from stopping because of "one small software update") Microsoft keeps everything on a tight lead by cutting out competition, buying it out, using loopholes, lobbying.
While maybe the OP didn't put it into the exact, right words, doesn't mean that your answer does anything at all.
So what if it was Crowdstrike? Do they not offer services to Microsoft? Does (almost) the whole world not operate on Windows?
Come on.
So a company no one's ever heard of grinds the world to a halt? Sounds unlikely, doesn't it@@jdzero5978
@@jdzero5978it’s a Microsoft-specific problem, so the point is still valid.
I feel for people with young children
Just because you have children doesn't grant you special rights. No one is forcing them to queue......they can just leave and go home.
@@markjones1337geez, who said anything about special rights?! They just said they feel for families with young children. If you don't give a 💩 then that's also OK!
@@hrehman9979 they "feel" for people with young children...............me...no one is making them stand there.........think about it.
@@markjones1337 Yeah because most families that have scrimped and saved all year to afford a nice family getaway are happily going to abandon it.
The families aren’t complaining here, neither is the OP. He’s just displaying some empathy for the kids that don’t have an understanding or experience with severe delays like this.
Jeez tell us you’re a massive prick without telling us you’re a massive prick 😂😂😂

It's why I have the most basic phone and still use pen and paper .
because we had one major outage in decades 💀 thats like saying i still use horse and cart cause cars are too dangerous. Your old ass just doesnt understand how to use tech
Sad really. The brave new world's a bit rubbish really. Can't rely on it.
😂 you use the most basic phone because this might happen once in very blue moon .... wow go you
Me too and I am an electronics engineer who works with software types (they are not engineers) every day.
@robolddognewtricks5488 I if you think it will only happen once in a Blue moon..........you are very nieve.
Overbooking... massive sales of flight tickets and now IT problems, yes sure.
Google Crowdstrike kernel driver update failure
Nothing to do with overbooking. Why don't you listen? Listen!
Thankful that I came through Gatwick 24hours earlier!
This is why you should stay at home forever
This is why your comment should have stayed in your thoughts
That’s what the WEF wants.
They want 15 minute cities with armed security guarding the perimeters. All with A I technology and face recognition. You will ideally not want your travel though if you do they will track how many times as you are only allowed to leave the city a few times per years - If you’re lucky. It’s already in the pipeline
Home? Boring food, rainy weather and listening everyday to doom and gloom about CBDC, news from Kid Starver with more taxes on income, taxes on pensioners. I'd rather escape somewhere where I can here or see any British Politician
Who the hell wants to stay vacation here in a cost of living crisis and with constant rain most summer days!
Isn't this what everyone wants - the global economy where one company can make the world of income for one Board?
When technology fails... and they want as cashless society
Too many systems rely on the same software. The monopoly has to be broken or at least backed up by a different system.
Don't bank online people
Cash is still king
You appear to be a self hating internet user. Why do you hate all internets?
@@ishmaelharris3948🏳️🌈
Exactly. No against banking online but cashless society is the wrong way on multiple levels. Of course no media mentioned it today.
@ishmaelharris3948 this video answers your question. The fact you can't figure that out is worrying.
Luckily private jets were not affected
If this doesn’t make people rethink Apple Pay etc nothing will.
I’ll never put money into phone apps
strange how to leave you have to queue and show your papers yet to arrive you get guided in by the RNLI then picked up on the beach and taken to your free hotel
This is the main reason why I never rely on computers. Without the internet computers and mobile phones are useless.
You can still make a call and play snake 😂
@@maciejolejniczak151 Yea with the Nokia phone back then. You can’t even play radio without the internet.🤣😂
It's because of this that we must do all we can to make sure that Cash stays king.

Nothing wrong with computers, only the broken model of tech that people keep alive through ignorance, laziness, and stubbornness.
Learn the lesson, folks. The system's unable to cope.
Alternatively, learn the lesson and then do your bit to help fix it. Get a book, read the basics, offer your services.
This is what happens when the world relies on only one system supplier… a very bad strategy with no backup or contingency in place in case this situation happens.
We saw something similar in the pandemic, with companies who just relied on China for production.

Sunny rainy Cornwall is good this time of year!
They are trying to put us off travelling! This is a regular occurrence at airports now.

We went away last week and flew from Gatwick to Tenerife, thank god it didn’t happen then - we got lucky!

Yep all computers had signs on them this morning saying this computer is out of order
Total ignorance by microsoft and crowdstrick. Shows need to avoid microsoft.
Nothing to do with MS though was it you clown
It's not crowdstrike, it's school holidays, they happen every year. Without looking, I know Dover is snarled with traffic, everyone's moaning, but it happens every year, its not something they should be unprepared for. After all technology is wonderful, so they say.
@@vickywilliams8320 no Vicky, it’s literally crowdstrike. If you have a job, ask your IT department.

Word is that 'l'outage' was caused by an AI exercise. When the programmer asked it to 'revert to previous setting' the AI app replied - 'I'm sorry Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.'
I worked most of my working life in a bank, just thought that when you wanted to check something you went to a ledger opened it and found the answer. Maybe the old ways were not too bad LOL 😊
The first rule in professional management is --- "There is no such thing as a small change" - always apply a change incrementally ( suck it and see - slowly) learn what the military have --- use independant distribùted processing. update only when the update is proved safe, i.e., after others have taken the initial risks.
I halted my travelling already...✈
What a Pity!!!
Great, thanks a lot
Please clarify this is because of the global it or if it is taken at another time.
I wonder how much profits are made by the airport cafes/restaurants? DISGUSTING
Hope all is well🎉
Thank god I’m not there!
So how much CO2 was saved because if this IT problem?

Technology is a wonderful thing. It's mostly reliable and secure. We don't need analogue anymore. Just place your faith in digitisation and technology. IT outages and hacking show us just how great digitisation is 😮

How to be saved from your sin, by accepting God's free gift
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
Salvation is a free gift given by God.
I pray that God may soften your heart to be able to understand so that you may be saved and sealed till the day of redemption.
