I love when people ask questions. It is when we stop asking that we should be concerned.

I had a simple question...basically: "how did Joseph Smith get the Book of Mormon?" Never get the same answer! Most of the stories fall into one or more of these categories: bloody pirate spirit, toad spirit, a spirit, spirits, angel of light, Nephi, Moroni, etc.
And then they turned Moroni into an angel??? How can he be an angel?
They also tell me that once they die, they become gods, which means Moroni and Joseph Smith are gods now?

This message resonates deeply with me. It aligns with a valuable lesson I learned once, outside the church: truth is not threatened and don’t hold grudges for questioning. On the contrary, it empowers us to clear our clouded minds and gain light. Truth is powerful and connect us to its source, God.

This video was released at the same exact hour as our Sunday School lesson with the Youth! And the whole lesson was on this exact topic. I just sent this video to some of them because I found it now. Thank you for following the guidance of the Holy Ghost.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. My questions and doubts helped me to become converted. Key is I really needed to be humble and meek to be able to see/hear the council of the Lord. If you look and have true desire, you’ll find.

I feel that there are two kinds of questioners in the church. Those that ask questions to justify their faith and those that ask to justify their lack thereof. The thing is, both will get the answer they are seeking for

On my mission, I was trying to read all the way through the scriptures 100% and as I was reading the Book of Mormon, I had little questions in my mind, and they were DIRECTLY answered over and over again!
I know that the Book of Mormon is true and from God, and because of that and my experience with having my questions answered, I know that He delights in our questions, especially when they involve us getting to know Him more! I testify that this is true, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

So I have to ask, based upon what your missionaries tell me: the Book of Mormon comes from which god?

@@archangel_one No no...ask your Heavenly Father whatever is in your heart. Do it with sincere intent to know the truth. Then be still, and listen.

@@dawnhasbroken6304 Yes, that's the standard, but I know to search the scriptures too (and usually first) because that's what it's for.

JS didn’t have an agenda. He asked in sincere faith, believing he’d be answered. If we can go to God, WITHOUT AN AGENDA, we too can and do receive the answers we desire.

Certain questions are welcome.. and only ask certain people.. And when we are encouraged to study it out.. we are only allowed to study from certain material.. Never to look outside what it church approved.. Not all truth is worthy .. "Historians should only tell that part of truth that is inspiring and uplifting" (Boyd K Packer) In conclusion.. Only ask the questions that support our version of truth.

This is true, they really come at you for asking questions. I find Mormonism so self-contradictory, and I think it's because they are covering up things. Like where's the Book of Mormon, and how did Joseph Smith get it? It is like every time you ask, you get a different answer. That's not my fault! Can't they get the story straight and match it up with records and documents?
As far as I can tell, Joseph Smith was not a godly person -- at all. So why should we believe him, especially over people who we know are godly? The churches there at the time of Joseph were doing the work of God, probably most of them, which is why Mormonism is now claiming to be Christian.
And why do they silence the Word of God?
1John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
Matthew 24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
