I am getting this same saw in about a week, and this video definitely helped me wrap my head around what to expect and pay attention to when I do. Thanks for making it.
Thank you sir! I sure appreciate that! It is a great saw.
Thanks for the in depth review!
@@johnfurlich5157 I appreciate that! Thanks for watching
Nice Job! do you still love it two years later? I just got the same saw! Excited to cut my cherry logs and get some beautiful resaw cuts! Thanks for sharing!
@@Jasonsdesignshop Thanks for checking the video out! It’s a great saw!
Thank you for your honest opinion on the saw.
Thanks for checking out my video! I truly am glad I purchased this saw! Plenty of power and does exactly what I needed it to!
This is exactly what I needed to know - thanks for the great overview!
I appreciate that! More than you know!!
Thanks for the video. I appreciate that you discussed all the important aspects of using this saw. I bought a Craftsman 12" bandsaw sander nearly 40 years ago and have used it ever since, it has been a good one, but I am presently saving for a replacement. I want a good bandsaw, one that will last for the remainder of my woodworking career, and I believe this one would do it. Thank You.
I truly appreciate you watching! A lot of people love this saw, some say to go for the 10-326 Rikon although it’s a bit more expensive but this one fits my needs just fine!
Very informative! Nice video.
Thank you!!
Really enjoyed your video, so I subscribed. Thank you. I bought this saw today - Black Friday price at Woodcraft was $1379.19 including tax.
Wow! It has increased over the years, it was near $1000 when I bought it but by chance they had a sale for $200 off! Thanks for subscribing and for watching! I appreciate that
Thanks for the video. Finally got mine after waiting 2 months for shipping. All put together, it just needs the final adjustments.
Thanks for watching! Hope it helped in some way!
Thanks for this review. I'm seriously considering this bandsaw. One thing ive found buying up tools towards my woodworking garage is nothings ever perfect so I appreciate you sharing the things you like as well as the quirks. Seems you got a really good deal I can't seem to find this model for less than 1200 may need to wait for a sale myself.
Yes! I have looked as well and it appears I got a great deal at the time! I bought through acme tools or max tool, can’t remember which now, but I do believe it’s the same company. As with anything these days though, price is higher!
Thanks for posting. I'm considering this a myself. The one project pushing me to justify the buy for my shop is making large custom corbels for our fireplace surround project. I'll also be able to start making large table pedestal legs. :) I like your Katz Moses sticker.
Thanks for watching! I looked into several that I could afford and for the power and resaw height, it was my clear choice!
I believe that noise is caused by the blade rubbing against the guide bearings.
Just got this saw, had a question. I am new to bandsaws. The blade that came with it isn’t for what I wanted so I bought another one which looks like yours in the video. Now, everything is aligned and works fine, but I wanted to see if my smaller blade movement “back and forth” (not left to right along the bearings) is normal.
For the blades to line up with the bearings, because of its size , it seems to have a lot of give between the teeth and the back stop guide. Is that normal for a thin blade or am I not adjusting something correctly?
Thanks for the comment! I will say this saw has a tension guide that’s all wrong. You definitely want more tension than what the gauge says. The bearings you want to adjust to where they’re not touching but with the slightest left or right, that’s when they touch the bearing. That goes for the sides and the back bearings!
can you tell me the dimensions of the box. i need to make sure it will fit in my suv.
Honestly I've had it so long I don't recall, but I can tell you its about 6 feet tall overall, but the base you put together when you get it, so its seperated, that'll make it about 4 1/2 to 5 ft long. Width you're probably gonna be a couple ft. for sure
The added features of the 10 326 far outweigh the price difference.
can you expand on this? are you saying 10-326 is a better deal?
