I think the previous version is much better than this video. The previous version of the video was the best of all airlines around the world, concise and allowing me to clearly understand what to do in an emergency.
I agree with you! The previous video was the best of all the airlines, but let's not leave behind that several aspects improved. I really liked the video AA, but I'll never forget the "First things first, let's buckle those belts!"
The old one was impressive, technically and artistically, as well as being visually unique. This one is just a bunch of people standing on a road. Please bring back the old one or update it. There was nothing wrong with it.
All the android robots used in this video is Amazing! I thought they were human but then they moved and smiled. Well Done American, your high tech robots almost fooled me!
The old safety video from 2016 with Tara in it was way better. It was simple and had a cheerful ambience, compared to this one where these employees (most furloughed) look like they were forced to just stand there and smile at the viewer, which is sort of unnerving. And of course, we'll miss the signature "First things first, let's buckle those belts."
AA's last video was meant to be, for lack of a better word, whimsical. It was created, as a response, to the very funny safety videos that Delta created. Well, Delta decided, as a global carrier, to have more serious videos. Clearly, American has decided to make this video more serious. I have heard a lot of comedians complain about Southwest pilots and flight attendants who try to be funny and fail. I just heard about the F/A who asked that all Apple, Blackberry, and blueberry devices be put in airplane mode. So, both Delta and American believe that dull is far more professional.
The version I have seen was for the A321, 737-800, 757-200, 767-300, 777-200, and 787-9 aircraft. Manual safety demonstrations were given on the A320 and A319 aircraft as well as the E175.
Too bad nobody will see this on the A321 since you removed all the screens from them. American flexing its corporate muscle. I miss the time where they actually cared for their customers
i love american airlines! a few days ago i was in their airport flying to charlotte nc, and i looked at flight schedule board. there was one flight on the board cancelled, and it was to ohio 😂🤣💀💀💀
This is the worst one American has ever done - the We're Glad Your Here and the one after were better and better instructed emergency procedure as it would be on board the plane - not a mock up -
It wasn't ten years it was 2015 so like 8. But we had uniform issues and aircraft cabin changes that delayed the introduction of a new video.... Basically they ripped out legacy aa in seat entertainment to match the old. Junky us air planes and revamped the cabin so now it's a pram (pre recorded announcement management) or something and flight attendants demo on almost every aircraft as before we didnt demo on any aircraft except the old super80. The merger with us airways ruined us.
I just watched a UA-cam video where the person told us that their stepmom and sister were assaulted and the airline did nothing. This needs to be resolved and you need to change your protocol.
Out of curiosity, why is the Qantas safety video over 8 minutes and this is less than 4? They just put a lot more padding in the Qantas one? You'd think they'd all be about the same length.
Seeing this on 2 days and 20 hours! I’m on flight 2171 from SDQ-MIA at 11:58 AM. Connection in MIA and then I board flight 2842 MIA-TPA departing at 4:27 PM.
It’s so bad… I’m a flight attendant for this airline and I shiver every time I see it play. It’s just… uncanny, creepy really. The previous one was so good.
I fly on American! Its So Awesome EVERYONE Should Fly American Coach Is Awesome And Comphy! Thank You American [; I like the part where they say: Incase of cabin pressure Oxygen Masks Will drop down immediatly from your overhead compartment . American pls pin me
I tool an American Airlines flight to LA in 2017, and was amazed by the safety video back then. Now with a plus-sized flight attendant, I would worry about the safety of the flight.

I'm gonna miss "First things first, let's buckle those belts!"

Same here...
The old one was waay better. A completely unnecessary change
Cuz great is what we’re going for
“First things first, let’s buckle those belts! 😜” BRING HER BACK 💔💔
Omg! I loved the old one better too!

I like how they used the same seats from the safety video of 6 years ago 😂

Tara blows.
The old one was honestly a lot better than the new one
Petition to bring back the previous safety video..
YESS
Please
My fav part is where the guy waving at the background 1:28
i saw it too
I swear, if you guys changed it to this, I’m gonna cry 😢
Flew on an AA flight today and was super disappointed to see this
@@FirstClassFlyer that’s bad. The other one was much better
Cheesy and gimmicky..Looks like it was filmed in a studio..Not real
Flew on AA the other day from EZE to JFK and this video was reproduced. We'll miss the other version, but this one isn't bad at all.
FIRST THING'S FIRST, LET'S BUCKLE THOSE BELTS will be missed

I saw an old American commercial with the 747-100 and I can say the “Doing what we do best” slogan is much better than whatever it is now
Because great, is what we’re going for.
I missed the old Safety Video
old one was my favorite thing about the summer.
I miss the old one
BRING THE GIRL BACK THAT SAYS "First things first, let's buckle those belts"
I miss “Let’s buckle those belts” 😂 from the last one…
Those crouds of smiling flight assistants are kind of creepy. This also feels like a prescription commercial
I remember Taking a Flight on American Airlines Flight 413 a Boeing 737-800 from bwi ro Charlotte Douglas international Airport to switch planes!
love it when a new american airlines safety video drops😫
I miss the old one tho 😭

Really hard to top the first version. This is like a sequel no one asked for.
I gonna miss going to Mexico with the old safety video
This is oddly creepy
Never get to see, none of my latest flights have had screens. The old video was awesome too
Where is the " were American Airlines; Doing what we do best"
The old one had something special with the music and sound mechanics
Is there behind the scences?
💛 really great commercial 🎉 I want to fly American Airlines next time I fly 😊
I had a flight with American the other day and when they did the safety video I watched the old one instead
I’ve fly American Airlines before ✈️✈️

happy new year 2023 i want online training in year traing how can apply .
This is an amazing safety video. When I was at the airport I watched it over and over again!❤️
The american video is about something that is an hour and follows the safety rules for you to get back to your home
Good Job! Love to fly American.
Bring back the previous version
That one guy at 1:28 just: hello!
"Hey, I'm not a bot, please send help!"
Yes American Airlines, *YOU ARE WHY WE FLY!!!* because we chose American Airlines so thank you for the positive feedback.
Too bad nobody will see this on the A321 since you removed all the screens from them. American flexing its corporate muscle. I miss the time where they actually cared for their customers
Heard This On A Flight From Denver To Dallas On Friday
I just got back yesterday morning I was feeling nervous and a little home sick
This is so uncanny… the way they all smile in the video 24/7.
I’m the 17th person to watch this video!
Wasn't expecting to see this on an A319 today. Well done.
I miss my crush 😄, but this video gives very detailed information. Thanks , you really made it to improve safety
I recognize a few long-time coworkers.
i wonder what is the background music
The background music is the boarding music.
I love how they included people in all shapes and sizes!
Yup, won't see that on any ME carrier.
We all know why they did 🤫
I don’t
Wokeness
@@CJbrinkman602 Yup
I went international last year and this video just randomly popped in my head and I wanted to watch it really bad for some reason
1:20 Why are they showing an A321 safety card instead of a 787 safety card when they're Oasising the A321s?
Future A321XLR.
I always enjoyed watching these videos onflight

Coming from a delta fan boy and a wanna be delta flight attendant! This is great !
It’s awful
It's alright compared to deltas
The OG one (pre 2013) is the best imo
Finally they've updated their safety video. Ten years is too long.
This one lacks personality but it gets the job done.
i think the one before this is newer than 10 years
@@abbythings came out 2016?
It has an extremely corporate vibe but it does what it was supposed to be: a safety video.

Man… their pearly whites are so shiny 😎 ✨
awesome video
I dream of working for American Airlines
I think the old one is better.
I prefer the old one 😢
When I know I'll be flying I watch this video to get me excited about my trip to Hawaii
Way better then the BA one AKA the fake drama drama
Hi American Airlines Safety Video
The old one was better. I miss that music.
I love how most people only watched the end of the safety video. Like "Wait, what did they say?" xD
I just watched a UA-cam video where the person told us that their stepmom and sister were assaulted and the airline did nothing. This needs to be resolved and you need to change your protocol.
Wow, this is so crazy. I really love
This was filmed in the same studio as VX safety dance video.

I love how the seats in the safety video are probably as thick as the ones in economy lol . The legroom is unrealistic though.
What is this
My neck hurts watching this video
You know, if American hadnt gotten rid of most of their seatback screens, then this video would have gotten more exposure
Wait a minute American doesn’t have seatback screens so how do they play this video?
Well done. Amazing music and the slight gestures and movement of the people add an extra touch of professionalism.
Love American Airlines 💙❤️🤍😊
I saw this on my flight when I was traveling to Little Rock (to move) last year
What’s the song being played? Upload the boarding music
