It's so cute omg! Get a tiny stick and wrap it with the sand paper to get the edges. Also, maybe a decent tiny file will help. I was a D&T O level student and this makes me want to get back into crafting. Thank you for sharing your process!

Do you seal after adding the vinyl ?
I don't, so far I don't see any issues with it. Maybe if you'd like to seal, you can try resin or something that will be heat proof.
