Yesterday I made your galatopita. Absolutely divine Dimitra thank you so so much for a beautiful dessert. The only thing I did different was a added orange zest to the custard and the topping of egg and sugar I added a dash of cinnamon powder. It was a great hit with my family and friends. They loved it. OMG ! This custard pie is my all-time favorite Greek dessert. It’s the best custard, phyllo and honey combination possible.....so simple and yet SO delicious! You make everything look so easy ....maybe I can pull this off too! Custard delight with a wonderful honey sauce....I must have died and gone to heaven !

I just made Galatopita for the first time today! I like the idea of adding the nut mixture between the layers! I used blood orange zest in my custard. Nicely done video and hope to see more recipes in the future

My family makes galatopita with milk, cornmeal, cottage and feta cheese, eggs, butter and salt. It is more of a cornbread consistency and goes well as a side dish.
