It is really just so unmotivating to play the game when there are such big issues with the frame drops. I've only done two sets today, and it has already affected multiple battles.
Comments like this always make me feel even better about quitting. My only affiliation with this game is supporting and enjoying Henry's brain cell gaining commentary

The biomes update has been horrendously executed. So many crashes, bugs, frame drops...difficult to even complete routes at my leisure.
Typical Niantic: you don't get something good without also getting something awful.
Those frame drops are so annoying I lost so many matches because of them
