Great Haul!!! 🙌 That Picture is STUNNING & TOTALLY worth $45!! 💚. I LOVE the Transformation of that lamp! You are going to NEED to do another Kitchen Tour so I can see how everything looks 🤗. Painting the Cabinets really brought the WOW FACTOR in your Kitchen! 💚
Just found you & I'm loving your posts. I usually speed up most video clips that i watch because i find that they are too slow for me! I love when that setting is available. It can even slow down the speed for those that think it's too fast. And there's a transcript button you can turn on & read along (like captions). I love your personality and look forward to watching more. Love your kitchen finds. Gonna head to a thrift store myself now!
Oh yay! Welcome!! And thank you so much for those tips! I will try to remember to mention it next time because I do tend to talk too quickly for people 😅 Have fun thrifting!!
I love how you went big with the picture over the kitchen cabinets. Never would have considered it. Also, the pregnant Mary and baby Jesus on Christmas idea is really cool
Try cutting handle of broom off to make it look less "witchy". And dark color goes well with large basket. Doesn't hurt to have a few items to contrast from lighter tones.
cut the handle of the broom to just above the first binding.. then cut down the length of the whisky part. add a leather handle.. make a smaller broom to hang and not have the witch's ride !
Love your Nativity idea! Also, your witch broom would be less witchy lol with some pastel or bright dried flowers tied to it with maybe a pretty lace strip tied in a bow? You can't go wrong with lavender but since you want blues, maybe blue thistle or larkspur?
You could lighten the broom by adding faux or dried greenery or flowers on the lower half. Even paint the handle a lighter color. Don’t give up on it yet. Use some of your Canadian inspiration.
Love the thrifts (as always) … maybe try adding some baby’s breath (or a small blossomed plant and/or greenery) to the witch broom … and see if it changes it up a bit. Or perhaps use it outside as a decoration instead. The kitchen cupboards would look great closer to the ceiling, while adding functional shelves below them, at the same level … so you don’t need to redo the backsplash. Then maybe hang the framed pic in the DR area, as there won’t be room if you move the cupboards up. Just a thought … I might even antique the frame somewhat … or a similar colour to your light fixture in the DR, to tie it in! Have a blessed weekend and see you next weekend. 🙏🙌✝️❤️🇨🇦
The broom is a cinnamon stick broom. You’ll find them in the fall smelling big time of cinnamon. They keep spiders away. Maybe it needs a refreshing of cinnamon? I put mine in the garage in the winter to keep spiders away. ❤
I just found a similar oil painting by Pier listing for $869.95 on eBay. Great eye! The whole video is so fun and inspiring. Can’t wait to follow along.
First I have to say..i totally enjoy your videos! Not only because of the content itself, but you're just hilarious, you keep me giggling girl!😂 I love all the frames! I love collecting ornate frames too, because I can always find art! I look for little hanging baskets all the time and never find them. I've only ever found 2🫤 The one you put the baby's breath in is so pretty, like why can't i find one like that 🤷♀️ I found a broom similar to that but shorter, its cute on the peg rail. Maybe you could cut it down? Like shorten the handle & the bottom a little. I really like the watering can! You already know i love the little lamp, just precious! And I love the shade (That does the little magic trick😉😄) And I really love the big art piece, that looks so good above your cabinets.. and i really laughed out loud just now😂 i just love watching you! I get so excited when i see you've posted! I would google Lens the art! I google Lens everything, a quick way to find out the age and value of any piece! You would be surprised sometimes! I even google Lens in the store sometimes before i buy something if its a little pricy to see if its worth what its priced. Totally enjoyed! TFS😊
Tammy you are just the absolute best! I look forward to your kind comments on my videos 🥰 and I’m so glad I can make you laugh! amazing tip about Google lens! I looked it up and it showed very similar paintings but slightly different angles from an artist named Caroline Burnett?! I wonder!!
Well aren't you the sweetest😊 Did you find any signatures are any writing at all on the front of your piece? If so, try to google with it in the picture you take, even if part of your picture is cut off, that helps sometimes to find out the artist, then you can google search the artist & find more out. Could be the same one you found! Were they older pieces? I've pretty much found out about all the art I've bought, even the smallest ones, some have really surprised me, in a good way😁
New to your channel. Love your content!. The broom can be purchased during fall time at Dollar General if you have that store for about $8.00 it’s scented with cinnamon. It’s quiet common here at Texas.
Hi Courtney, this isn’t related to this video, but I have a question on wallpaper. In your experience doing your powder bath, and then girls room wallpaper with adhesive, should I cut my strips ahead of time? I’m doing a powder bath of similar size above a tile wainscot, with wallpaper I’m applying adhesive to. I’ve only done peel and stick and don’t want to get in a jam trying to cut and apply all at the same time
Fun video! Love your energy and personality 😁 I also really enjoyed the short featuring your beautiful painting where you placed it standing on the counter at dinner time 😁😁
Well that looks to be a Caroline Burnett oil on canvas of a paris street scene and if you can find a signature anywhere on it, you have a very pricey piece of art! They go for 4-10k!…..Fredrix is the name of canvas supplier.
Someone told me to Google lens it and there are very similar pieces done by her and one that looked so similar to this but at a slightly different angle. Could you imagine if it is?!?
Also I think your artist MIGHT be Caroline C. Burnett. Her signature "Burnett" is always in lower right. She was a "tourist painting" painter turn of 19th/20th c.
Large picture is not an original or terribly old. It is more than likely mass produced artwork to sell by a furniture store. I made same mistake years ago & took piece of art to local college to be assessed. There are unmistalable tell tell signs to determine age of a painting. And, by the way, never touch the paint (whether acrylic or oil) so as not to transfer body oils or damage surface. Never put a painting in a bathroom where moisture can ruin it, & cooking residue in a kitchen are also bad.
Good to know, thank you! I do believe this to be an original (although I am no expert) given the signature and the frame is made specifically for artists as I’ve since found out 🤍
I really like your house and your decorating ideas, I’m older and a little bit slower and I have a hard time keeping up with your fast way of talking, you speak as if you are on fast motion, and run a bunch of words together. I’m def not criticizing just trying to keep up, slow your roll a little, thank you!
I really enjoyed your video. To all those saying she is talking too fast, please stop. The way she talks shows her excitement for her thrift finds.
Aw thank you 🥹
I agree. Let her be herself.
❤ the little frames
Right?! 😍
The tiny watering can is perfect!
Haha isn’t it?!
Love the willow tree idea
Isn’t it sweet)
What a great thrift haul ❤
Thank you! 😊 it was a good trip!
That huge picture is fantastic! All of it was. I love how your so real too!
Aw thank you!!
Awww my Mom had that large creamer... my heart 🥲🕊️. Thanks for sharing your finds Courtney ! 🙏🏻♥️🙂
Oh beautiful Lisah 🤍 thank you for watching!

I think so too! And others have given this great idea as well, thank you!
trim the broom to be half the size ! it looks witchy because its too long in my opinion !
Great idea! Thank you!
The ironstone is my mama's pattern, which I inherited. One of my favorites.
Oh wonderful!
cut the handle of the broom to just above the first binding.. then cut down the length of the whisky part. add a leather handle.. make a smaller broom to hang and not have the witch's ride !
Ahaha this is a great idea!
Omg you’re so funny !! 😂❤ I came over from Emily’s Chanel ! I love your style !
Yay! Thank and welcome! I hope you like it here Ashley 🥰
Courtney you are so sweet!! I love everything you got, it all goes so well in your beautiful kitchen!! ❤❤

I love that idea!!
I think I would double stack them! So keep the bottoms and add a whole nother set!
Love that idea!
Have a blessed week! 🤍🤍🤍
Great haul! The "Fredrix 36" on the back of the frame refers to the canvas maker and size.
I’ve since learned that! Thank you!!
Great haul! I too can't resist a good basket 😁
They are just the best!

Haha isn’t it cute! Amazon!! amzn.to/3wQjSiw
I love willow tree I collect them that’s not a bad price!
Oh yay! Good to know!
Fredrix is a canvas manufacturer and is probably the most popular company for last 120 years. 36 is probably the canvas #/weight of cloth weave.
Yes! I recently learned this, thank you!

I personally wouldn’t only because if you measure and are off it’s going to drive you crazy!
Try spraying diluted bleach on the broom to lighten it
Oh good idea!
Fun video! Love your energy and personality 😁 I also really enjoyed the short featuring your beautiful painting where you placed it standing on the counter at dinner time 😁😁
Haha thanks Liz! Never a dull moment around here 😂

Someone else said that and if it is that would be crazy!! If it isn’t, it definitely seems like it is someone who was inspired by her!
How am I just finding you?! You and I are clearly cut from the same goofy cloth 🤣🤣 I talk so fast as well
Ahh love it! Are you a Gilmore fan also?! 😂
Turn the broom upside down and place in a vase or basket
Oh clever!
Loved the haul and yes, you do get wound up and talk fast. Lol
Yes…
VERY fast.
I do 🫣 it’s my goal to slow down!
Fredrix could be the frame co.?🤷♀️
Yes it is! Someone on Instagram said that! And 36 is the size!
36 might be the length on that frame.
You’re right! I’ve learned it’s the size!
You’re right! I’ve learned it’s the size!
Nice😅
🤍🤍🤍
OMG… slow down and you won’t choke. Come up for some air. You found some really cute things.
😂 I was a bit hyper in this video, sorry 😂

Yes 😂
… VERY fast.
I know 🫣 I’m sorry! I’ll go slower for the next one!
You talk so fast that I can't understand everything you are sharing. Please slow down.
