There isnt another team that has so many players that are raising their game and overall standard...if you buy into Unai's methods he will make you look terrific.
As a Villa, I thank Arsenal. 1. For selling us the best goalie currently in the world - Emi M. 2. For not being patient with a manager who is World Class - U Emery Last season the Premier League Manager of the Year went to Pep. That was a travesty. Based on which manager improved a side/club it clearly should have gone to Unai.
@@TheBeeseven I disagree ...In fact Liverpool's best player this season is still Ref&Var. I would bet Villa would beat them in a European game 2 out of 3 times under the tactically astute Emery. But in the EPL the the Ref&Var would not let that happen. Salah and co would run into the Pen box and drop dead under any impediment and the Ref would never deny them a pen if they are under pressure.
Villa have Quarter - Semi final potential, depending on luck of draw! Only Real Madrid are a class apart, Madrid have lost but as seen against Dortmund who are up there rest of best, they are beginning to purr! City and Liverpool are next two best bets, but Villa are improving all the time; but Emery nearly always wins a Trophy in his 3rd Year, so next year Villa will really challenge for every Title! Gud times are back! I remember '82 well! I was 13 and cacking myself against the Mighty Bayern! But that Villa team was special! I think Unai can win us a Major Trophy again, but maybe not quite this year, he understands the need for sustained consistency at top level first to be in the mix for Trophies consistently,...and that means Top 4 again this year, and THEN in his 3rd year when his system is 100% embedded and second nature to ALL the squad, we"ll have real crack at winning a Major Trophy. We don't even have any real pressure on us regarding Champs League or Prem Title either this year so every player, fans, club is up for the ride! The Lion and Villa Park is beginning to roar again. We"ll attract even better quality players if we finish Top 4 again and players see Villa as consistently challenging for Trophies and if in Champs League two years running! Everything about club is running like Clockwork! Not many clubs can say that! 😮

Tielemans is the Most Underrated player in the Prem this season. If you watch Villa regularly you know just how great he has been. UTV!!!

To me Villa are the 3rd best team in EPL ....so these wins are not a big surprise. They showed their quality against Bayern.
Coming from a gooner I'll take that but I'd have us as the 4th best behind City, Liverpool and Arsenal but we're closing the gap slowly but surely.
