great statement about treading lightly, i would totally be down to do trail cleanups in the future once we move to Tennessee later this year. we clean up trails as we ride them out here in the PNW all the time. its really sad how some people leave them, but someone has to clean it up or we'll all lose them.

The wheel base is perfect in my opinion. Mine is stretched to 116”
My SXS crew are headed back to Tackett over Columbus Day weekend, Oct 9th - 12th, gonna be showing a few of them the sand cave for the first time! 😁 They're gonna love it. Love your call-out for a clean-up ride, even tho this vid is a couple months old now. I really enjoy your vids, simply for the attitude you guys have, and the no one left behind philosophy. That's how we operate as well. We wheel the southeast ourselves, surprised we haven't passed you guys out there somewhere yet. Hearing tellico takes me back to sad times. I had a 85 Nissan ex cab truck and was gonna take it up there but didn’t get trans fixed in time so we just went camping up there instead and the next weekend tellico just shut down and I was never able to wheel there. Another place I did spend a lot of time was called owl holler near Chattanooga. It was a blast and it was close but some hunters lease it and shut it down.
I would love to do a trail clean up TWRA is my favorite area to go to. I’d also love for Holley to get my terminator out to me after 3months of “it’ll ship next week” so I can get back down there and wheel. It’s sad how much trash I pick up every time

Hey Marvin, I’m totally down for any trail cleanup ride anywhere. I’ve never left a trail without picking up something that wasn’t mine. One of the benefits of wheeling a truck. Just pick it up and toss it in the back.

A trail cleanup trip is a good idea but it never hurts to carry a garbage bag with you at all times an just grab what you can.

Why is hi pinion in the rear bad , I see GenRight and others use them
Using a high-pinion gearset in the rear of a vehicle actually reduces its strength by 15-30 percent. In addition, the term reverse rotation is a misnomer. The rotation of the gears is the same as a standard set, but the direction of the gear cut is the reverse of a standard-cut gear, hence the term reverse-cut.
You end up with gears turning on the coast side vs the drive side in a low pinion. It's just weaker. Pushes the gear apart which leads to a lot of deflection.
@@wanderingfrenchie so, high pinion rear would have the same weaknesses as a low pinion front .?. Is that correct ?
@@MrMrsregor Absolutely. But usually the rear axle sees more stress than a front axle which makes a HP rear even less of a good option than a LP front IMO.

I would love to go there one day, and a trail cleanup should be automatic for you all . Your states in the southeast haven’t gone full communism so you still have trails like this. Imagine here in The Rocky Mountains of Colorado, they close more trails by the day. Same as Utah , Idaho , South Dakota and the list goes on. The war for the land is coming soon so make sure you guys lock yours down! My God it’s beautiful

Old mate is a bit too in love with himself. we don't need a selfie shot of you talking into the camera for 8 minutes of the video. Point the camera in front and talk into the back ground. I dont know why this camera angle irritates me so much but I for one would rather watch your bonet rolling down a dirt road than looking at you weird glasses while you dribble garbage for half the video. If you start this video at the 8 minute mark it's actually a decent clip
