Pascal is beautiful, she looks like a twin of my calico i had till this past January. She was 18 years old and she died of cancer. It was so hard to lose her. She was such a sweet baby. the best kitty we have ever had. you two are an adorable couple.

Your new place looks lovely! We especially love the yard and the veggie garden 💚 The tomato plant is huge! We were excited to see your turnips, we planted some in our garden as well as you can see in our latest video, although ours are not yet ready to be harvested 😊

The turnips were surprisingly easy to grow, and they taste fantastic & fresh! Can't wait for the tomatoes to be ready!

Careful with that lilac they prone to rot and get brittle over time as if you let them grow too big and dense. Just some advise from a guy born gardening! Lol Not that you asked, but luckily it's an easy thing to fix by going through the inside of the Bush and removing some of the older branches or decaying and rotting branches or stuff that doesn't look good by opening up the bush and allowing more air circulation within its branches in the inside and all around it will keeping it from rotting the lilac. The way you would do this is to cut away all the rotting branches of the lilac bush the closest you can to the bass of because in doing this you will allow better air circulation around its branches minimizing rotting because they tend to get a little bit dense and hinders air circulation within the base and that's what's her to raw and that's why the limbs are to fall all over the place and also you're left with an ugly looking by like bush that's just rotting and falling apart.

@@PascalPlante I am happy to hear and to see that you guys getting into gardening because it can be extremely rewarding. I always tell people who want a beautiful but no-fuss and minimal maintenance garden that they don't exist. A truly beautiful garden is a labor of love if your not willing to spend a few hours at least every two weeks it's better to put down flagstone and gravel patio an a lawn and call it done because gardens are a living system contrived by us and we must keep up with It . Back in the day when I had a 2-acre garden, I would tell my friends and family if they see a weed, you pick a weed! Because if some of those little boogers are allowed to get extinguished they will become hard to remove once. Its a beautiful home you two have and I am so happy for you both. If you guys ever need some advice on plants and gardening. I would happy to point you in the right direction with backed by gardening literature. I'm totally a plants and garden geek with a love for garden literature. My obsessive compulsive disorder caused me to read many botanical encyclopedias when I was younger. even some on subtropical and tropical freshwater ecosystems and fish. I was an odd child. Anywho be safe!

The yellow flowering shrub is a border forsythia (Forsythia × intermedia).
It will soon close the gap between the patio and the shed. You might reconsider the position if you need this to access the garden after coming down the patio stairs.
Spinach is grown in spring and autumn/warm winter. During the hot season it will not produce a lot of leaves and bolts to flower.
Keep up the enthusiasm & that turnip looks so yummie. 😍

Yeah, those will always stay packed. That happens when you move into a house that you own - no real urgency to unpack them, so they just stay there. [We bought our house 21 years ago, and those 2 boxes are still there, unpacked.]
Wait … a neighbor downstairs? I thought you guys were moving into a house that either Brian's or Pascal's parents were helping you purchase.
Or did the parents buy a rental duplex and have you two living upstairs? Je suis confondu.
You may get sick of the pool. When my husband and I bought our house, we bought it _despite_ the pool. We used it maybe two to four times a year and spend every weekend during the season cleaning it. It was a large oval above-ground, and when it sprang a leak 3 years after we bought the house, we gleefully demolished it, put a patio where it had been, and bought a hot-tub. A hot-tub which we stopped using consistently about 10 years ago. But for the first 10 years or so, we used it fairly regularly. [It's at a distance from the house, maybe 10-15 meters across 2 decks, and down 1.5 flights of stairs. So it's not so convenient. But it's not an impossible walk to it. We just need to keep the decks clean so we have a pathway to it. And we need to maintain it. Which we've been bad about.]
So, yeah. Pools can go from a luxury to a pain in the a$$.
So, what's in the office? Your posters of nekkid menz? The porn stash? Left your … “toys” … out? ;-)
