the marine viaduct is almost complete with the installation of the first few frames of the aesthetic viaduct feature at the international maritime border as well as the noise barriers along the jb land viaduct. the only challenge for the launching works near to R&F Princess Cove is to build the span over the bustling causeway bridge. nevertheless, I'm really looking forward to seeing the connection between the bukit chagar station and the wadi hana depot viaduct.
I am happy to be invited to film the lifting of the truss girder over the KTM tracks next week. I also hope I could capture the completion of the span above the causeway too
@@SGYap Perhaps you can also do some short videos on such special detailed segments and planning behind the scene. This may help to boost your viewership to 100k.
@@cadinvent Thank you so much for your suggestions! I do have some of the planning of the activities at the worksite, positioning, dimensions and work schedule too. However I have promised not to share these documents in public.
Immigrations clearance for both sides of causeway have improved a lot recently. These improvements in immigration process will likely be replicated in RTS Link, crossing the borders will be so much easier in the future with RTS Link
Seems like the connecting spans between the marine & land viaducts will be done via crane-lifting. I see what looks like the concrete base for the scaffoldings in another channel (SCM's drone overhead view)
I was having breakfast with the main cons for the marine viaduct a month ago, I was told the LG will move back to original position to lift the SBG for the remaining 2 spans. let me contact them again to see how the last 2 spans will be completed
@@SGYapI believe that still holds true for the span that's completely over the waters, since there's the additional decking. It's the other span that seems to be having the foundations of the scaffolding that I'm questioning.
@@SGYap just to add on: at 3:14, that's a Sunway crane you see there. If the span was under the marine viaduct side, it would be CCCC's crane, not Sunway. Just got reminded in another RTS video (credits The Biannual Travellers channel) of the land & marine viaducts contractors difference.
@@nick_1551 I will be helping to film the lifting of the orange coloured truss girder across the ktm tracks in this project by Sunways and Trans Elites. They will update me the date and time once it is confirmed.
Just wish the two Govts can upgrade the RTS/LRT to dual tracks both ways in looped service. Just in case one line breakdown, there is still another line running.
@@SGYap They are probably going to lean towards the pedestrian linkages to JB Sentral, JBCC, Coronation Square etc. via their PUDOs, as well as KTMB (both ETS & Komuter) to disperse the traffic for the time being till the ART is complete.
Looking forward to see this project complete then can go JB often in order to cut cost in SG. Here things is getting expensive money also quiet hard to earn go over there SGD$1 can change $3.53
I am sorry as I was not aware of it. The door (inside the table tennis room) leading to the corridor was unlock and it was opened too, so I just came out for a few seconds to take a pan shot and after that I continued to play table tennis. Next time I don't step out. Thank you for informing me.
@@leeann6600 Thank you for your suggestion. I think the management should put up some form of notice at the door to state entry to authorize personnel only or lock up the door. There was no notice and the door was unlock, I guess a lot of people would have already step onto the corridor. I cannot change the video as my laptop is in JB but I am in KL If the management look for me, I can explain to them.
Ai yo yo😭😭😭. The viaduct so near to the RnF block, it will be a constant nuisance (train passing by noise) for 18 hrs 24/7 . Good luck man to tenant near by😂😂😂. FYI: THE noise generated passing by n breaking noise of MRT1 in KL is so unbearable - really beh tahan😖😖😖😖😖. Sound bearer does not help much should the speed is not reduced. This is exactly the MRT1 scenario ,resulting extending arrival time.
Sound barrier only reduces the noises at the same level or below it. Those higher than the noise barriers will still hear it. Also, I don't think they will put noise barriers over the Causeway & railway. I may be wrong though.
It is good that the design of the RTS Link includes the sound barriers right at the start. Singapore NS and EW MRT lines only added the sound barrier many years after turning operations
Current plan for this week is to film Tanah Merah (Thur), RTS Link (Fri & Sat) and Forest City (Sun). All these mentioned video should be released next week
