Mine is a different brand but the cart appears to be the same design. I didn't see how you placed the shelf in the storage unit sides and wonder if you could provide further info on that. On mine the sides of the storage unit aren't physically attached with any bolts to the storage unit shelf and when I move the cart the bottom edges of the storage unit sides come loose from the cart base even though the shelf of storage init is bolted to the frame/cart base.
