I don't have a lot to say here as I will be away and not able to watch anyway, but I hope Grasso wins just so we don't have a Moreno/Figgy situation. I also just want to say thank you to you guys. I dont really do social media and a lot of UA-cam comments sections have not made me feel very welcome, but you guys have always made me feel very welcome and respected, so thank you. It helps heal a lot of bad experiences in the past and you are appreciated. Anyway, that's enough of me being all emo, I'll be back to silly jokes making you laugh next time out haha.
[ben] UA-cam comment sections, with a few exceptions, are the absolute worst. Places where MMA fans gather online, with a few exceptions, are not very welcoming to women. In both cases, Keith and I are highly motivated to make sure we keep on being one of the exceptions. The funny/sad thing is, it doesn't have to be that difficult. It's not as if Keith and I are models of professional conduct - we say inappropriate stuff on the show all the damn time, as you know perfectly well. We just try not to be creeps. Anyway, I'm glad you feel respected, because you are. Mostly because I'm still only about 95% sure you aren't Martin Buday, and I want to be able to travel to Slovakia without having to look over my shoulder.
@@keithshillan627oh man if you ever can get him to come out of retirement for a show that would be so awesome Wish I woulda been an mma fan back when you guys had a show together that sounds fantastic
The first great rivalry that comes to mind for me when considering fighters that have fought each other 3+ times is Maynard / Edgar -- their 2nd and 3rd fights were legendary. Figgy / Moreno was a great one though, and they get bonus points imo for having 4 fights. I'm a new listener, but really enjoy your shows -- keep up the great work!
Ortega being disrespected! My bold prediction is for him by sub. Lopes powers about and gets caught in something. A rational man would say by 3rd round sub after beating up Ortega but I think it’ll happen quickly, round 1 mounted guillotine.
I'm with Ben, going with O'Malley by (T)KO. Merab has been clocked and wobbled before like against Marlon Moraes. If Merab takes that knee Chito did against O'Malley, I think Merab is gone. Merab's strength isn't his chin but his recoverability. I was always indifferent towards O'Malley but if y'all haven't listened to it, his interview with Mighty Mouse is great. Changed my opinion on O'Malley. Dude is very intelligent about the fight game from training for a fight to how he engages in trash talking. The example he used is that he wouldn't call Mighty Mouse short because Mighty Mouse doesn't give a shit. But he would call Cody Garbrandt short because Garbrandt would lose his mind haha Anyways this is an excellent fight and I'm excited to see it.
That's definitely one way this fight could easily turn out: long stretches of control by Merab, punctuated by O'Malley hurting him. Those are always tough rounds to score.
I don't understand how you can say o malley will be looking for a stand up off the ref.....if merab gets double didgit td's, it's not because refs stand the fighters up all the time it's because he can't keep guys down there
[ben] You have a good point, and Keith and I both did point out that Merab isn't great at holding people down, but I think both things can be true. Watch for O'Malley on Saturday to indulge in some Michael Bisping-style gesturing to the ref within seconds of being taken down, especially if the crowd is booing and he can play off of that.

Thank you so much for listening.
Shoutout craig allen and his Matt serra impression, mma UA-cam misses him
Craig is my dude. We used to do a show for a long time in the past. I will try to get him on this show soon

Great work fellas!
The boys☝️

Oh, great call on the Edgar/Maynard series. In hindsight, those fights may have done as much to cement his legend than his actual title fights.
CMONNNN MERAB!! Miss the Allen boys dearly
i'll be at the sphere this weekend. i'll be using some of your guys break down at the sports book. great work fellas

Bahamondes needs distance to get his game going. Torres will crash the pocket. Torres has the better chin.
If Torres wins, and there's a good chance he does, I think that's exactly what it looks like.
This is one of the best fights on the card

Anyways this is an excellent fight and I'm excited to see it.
I'm super excited for the matchup
Wouldnt be suprised if Merab vs omalley looks like Gamrot vs Hooker and Omalley wins a close decision after hurting Merab in multiple rounds
That's definitely one way this fight could easily turn out: long stretches of control by Merab, punctuated by O'Malley hurting him. Those are always tough rounds to score.
That would be a pretty epic match if it does

We never said we are good at this
@@sherdog wow wonderfully Said!! The refs are going to be leaning towards Suga Sean for sure
I love how Dana is going on and on about the production and behind the scenes stuff because he knows the card is shit
No podcast format again?
Wait what happened to Jeff Sherwood and TJ DeSantis 😂
Jeff sold Sherdog around 2010 or so. TJ has been the King of Fight Pass since about 2015.
