  • Gaining further motorcycling skills takes time, patience and lots of practice.
    A great fun way to learn loads in a short space of time and distance is with Supermoto.
    MotoGeo teamed up with our friends at SoCal Supermoto to find 5 totally different types of motorcycle riders at various skill levels, with little or no track experience and get them on the track for a day of moto fun.

    Wait a second people, the "real man's bike "comments by tattoo harley guy reflected his opinion of non-harlies prior to having the mindset to try something new. He's a changed man. We as motorcycle enthusiasts should welcome our new brother who has been shown there is more than just black and orange in the motorcycle universe. Group hug everyone.

      Word, although same could be said to the hardcore offroad enduro dude, there is more than just orange and black. Ride whatever makes you smile. A real man(or woman) doesn't need a bike to cement their status.

    This is BY FAR my favourite channel on youtube. They cover all the different types of riding, with beautiful camera work. Jamie is just the icing on the cake, better than any other host i've seen.

    Update; for all you people who were hating on me when this video was posted I'm making my way to the Adams Motorsports Park on August 17th for my second track day. Come on out and lets have some fun, or just continue to be a coward. Cheers!

    Why are they so low ?
    I personally like it when the swingarm looks a little bit upwards so the pegs are not scratching every second corner

    Haha.. I used to kinda look down on harley guys as well. That was until a bunch of em helped me out in Nebraska when my battery died. They helped to bump start my bike, a Triumph Scrambler, fully loaded with gear and get me back on the road. So yeah, harley guys saved my trip, definitely changed my perception of them :)
    If your interested you can watch the vid here, my fiance and I rode from Toronto to California and back, we called it "Scramblin' Across America.". /watch?v=qDdm9Em2k_M

    I don't think that smiling is anti-ageing. Lots of smiling will give you more wrinkles around the corners of your mouth.
    But I don't care, I'm a habitual smiler anyway! Because motorcycle!!

    Fuck using the foot, where the knees at?

    • @beatflyy
      @beatflyy 8 років тому +1

      Cut de Pie Fails You don't do that in supermoto, because the sitting position is completely different.

    • @cutdepiefails6596
      @cutdepiefails6596 8 років тому

      TheLatvianHamster How come you don't do it, and I saw it been done in a track racing class? The knee just serves as a measure, it's not an end, but a tool.

    • @Jajeweet
      @Jajeweet 8 років тому +3

      Tighter tracks, tighter turns.. A sumo track is very different and on those tighter turns, it takes to much time going knee down from one side to knee down on the other. Sumo's are also higher than sport bikes so they can lean further. To utilize this you have to get your body out of the way. Most pro's scrape the foot peg (which then comes up slightly) so they can't have their foot on there anyway. And when the sliding gets away from you a little too much, you have your foot to save it.
