I hadn't thought about it until you dropped this video but the Warriors might legitimately be the most unstoppable team on there. Prime Steph with possibly the best offensive season of all time, Klay with his ability to go nuclear, Rick Barry being incredibly efficient, Kevin Durant being unguardable, and WILT. I'm not sure who can contain them offensively.
Run TMC with Dray and freaking Nate Thurmond would be awesome to watch as the BACKUP unit. Good grief, I don’t even think this hypothetical is even a contest at this point. Even the snub squad is up there for the best honorable mention crew.
The worst part is that Thurmond would most likely be there mainly to fill garbage time and fuck up teams rhythms, because Wilt is absolutely capable of playing 48 minutes a game especially if the offense is more spaced out and less physically agressive and reliant on him
Yep. It's especially egregious because he calls out 3-point shooting as the Pistons' weakness, and in his Blazers vid, he specifically calls attention to Sheed's abilities as a stretch 4 (incidentally, he shot more 3s with equal or better efficiency as a Piston than he did as a Blazer). I know his response to calls for Sheed (and Dave Bing) on the Pistons vid was "who do you leave off?" And the answer is Larry Foust, a very traditional, 1950s center on a team that already has three HoF centers. Granted, Ben is smaller and not as offensively capable as a traditional C (actually, he's the same height as Foust, with more muscle), but is there anything Foust offers that Lanier and Laimbeer don't have thoroughly covered? With Sheed, for the slightest dropoff in ppg and rpg (which Foust built against 1950s opponents) you actually get MORE size (making the Foust pick even more baffling), AND gain the outside presence, the pre-existing chemistry with several of the other teammates, and someone who totally embodies the team's hard-nosed, defense-first, team-oriented mentality. Also, gotta sub out Stack for Bing. Stack's just there for offense, but Bing basically put up the same ppg as a Piston--without a 3-point line. And he's otherwise a slight-to-moderate upgrade across the board. A little silly to quibble over, and I only invest this much thought into it because I love this exercise and the meticulous work Jonny puts in overall, but it hurts a little to see my favorite team get held back at two roster spots.
Lakers vs Warriors and Celtics vs Bulls are my guesses for conference finals matchups, but there’s plenty of other teams I could see making it (Spurs, Heat, and Sixers mainly)
@@universalplayz7496This squad is far better than 2016 Cavs who beat spacing GOAT Warriors, even KD Warriors wouldn't cook with Butler or Pippen on KD.

Facts coaching will be key for this. But i would like for Johnny to put a caveat with the coaching like coaches who coached multiple teams can only be used by 1 team. Like Pat Riley, Phil Jackson, Doc Rivers etc....
Coaches for some rosters: In no order... Lakers - Riley Bulls - Phil Heat - Spo Warriors - Kerr Celtics - Red Spurs - Pop Rockets - Rudy T Jazz - Sloan Raptors - Nurse
Wilt was a TREMENDOUS off ball player...you couldn't keep him of the the offensive glass, ...you either had to foul him on the put back or just let him get the high % tap in or dunk off...the amount of 2nd chance opportunities...he was also an amazing touch passer...the off ball movement of curry + wilts passing IQ?!?!?... crazy and let's lot forget about his endurance and speed ..hes such a huge and fast target on the fast break AND he can do it for almost the entire game...those who are faster than him more than likely aren't strong enough to contest him...and those strong enough to contest him probably aren't fast enough (or have the endurance) to get in front of him consistently
Bulls and Spurs have the best defensive lineups here, and I'd give the Bulls the nod for best overall defensive team. But the Spurs are right behind them defensively
Overall yes. Strictly defensively I would still say yes. However, I would put the Pistons' very best defensive lineup of Thomas, Dumars, Prince, Rodman, and Wallace barely over the Spurs Defensively. It's super close tho. But they're all still behind the Bulls defensively. The Bulls can literally put out a lineup of Jordan, Jimmy Butler, Pippen, Rodman, and DPOY Joakim Noah. No team can match that versatility defensively, especially on the perimeter
Now is when the best is coming... I can wait to see the 2K simulation and such. Thanks Johnny. Maybe I should watch the whole series again to see which player has appeared in more Ultimate teams, I my mind doesn't fail, I think is KD or Lebron.
@@nbabackcourtmedia Wilt and Barry were high volume scorers too- it would be about managing egos. All five are fantastic team players (even Barry, despite his surly ways) as well as scorers, which would give me faith that they could pull it off.
That Warriors starting 5 all pass really well and move without the ball. They should run everyone off the floor. Paul and Wilt 60's Warriors probably played at a higher pace than TMC or Step, Dray, Klay version. Kudos for having Poppin Paul on the team.

Hi and thanks for all the great content. Somehow the Warriors and Wizards are included only in this final video and do not have a solo video of their own. Or am I seeing wrong? Best wishes. 🙌
Really cool series @jonnyarnett I’ve looked forward to every video. I predict Lakers v Warriors in the WCF and Bulls v Celtics in the ECF. Lakers win. Honorable mentions. Bucks. Spurs. Rockets.
Can't wait for the 2k simulation ! I had alot of fun making my own standings as I was watching this awesome video, here's how it looks ; East West 1. Boston 1. LA Lakers 2. Philadelphia 2. Golden State 3. Chicago 3. Houston 4. Miami 4. San Antonio 5. Milwaukee 5. Denver 6. Detroit 6. Utah 7. New York 7. OKC 8. Cleveland 8. Portland 9. Brooklyn 9. LA Clippers 10. Atlanta 10. Phoenix 11. Orlando 11. Sacramento 12. Indiana 12. Dallas 13. Washington 13. Minnesota 14. Toronto 14. New Orleans 15. Charlotte 15. Memphis As a Raptors fan it hurts a little :P Also the West was deffinetly harder to rank for me. Anyway I had a fun time making this list, thanks Jonny
Warriors are probably the best team in this list... totally expected Chris Weber to make the team but forgot he was traded after his rookie year, but Antwan Jamison had some good years and would have filled that last spot nicely being more ready for the modern game against his competition. Teams that would give warriors trouble might be: Lakers Celtics Jazz 76ers Nuggets (that roster can average 200/game) - you should add warriors as stand alone video Jonny
Yep! It’s gonna be a bit until we’re ready. I gotta pick all the coaches, making sure we have the right capture card, gotta create the rosters, gotta create the players who are not in 2k, etc. I promise you it’s in the works though 👍
first off; I love your stuff and don’t profess to know more than you for sure. AND I was a Cavs fan in the 70s and 80s and don’t really pay much attention, since then. BUT the Hot Rod Williams I remember would be my starter. Also, I have such a soft spot for Brewer at power forward.
4:40:40 Big Ben and Westbrook as honorable mentions, really? I mean, sure, it was only in Wallace's final season in Washington that he got enough minutes that it started becoming apparent what kind of defensive force he was, but still - 11.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per 36 are impressive numbers. And Westbrook averaged a triple-double in his sole Wizard season.
We're gonna refocus on that now that this massive Jordan DPOY project is done. Should be pretty soon though. It would be a failure in my eyes if we didn't do it during the offseason, because thats definitely good "down time" content.
This is awesome. The answer seriously depends on what era’s rules they play by. The Lake Show doesn’t need LeBronze with the roster they’re already rocking. He doesn’t fit with the other four legends. Plus Kobe would make him cry.
I think there’s some room for surprise in this hypothetical. Only a few teams don’t have any chance at all. Though the contenders are also pretty apparent (Lakers, Warriors, Celtics, 76ers, etc.) I wouldn’t count out a team like the Bulls or the Jazz though
I have some major disagreements, especially including Dominique Wilkins on the Clippers roster (I feel like players should at least play one full season with a team to be considered), but I appreciate all the work you put into this. Still a fun watch.
@johnnyarnett what happened to the NBA 2k simulation for this u made like 30videos since then . The season has been over . come on man whats going on???
The only players from NBA's Top 75 not on a team in this series are: George Mikan: Lakers C 47-56 Dolph Schayes: 76ers PF 49-64 Bill Sharman: Celtics SG 51-61 Dave Bing: Pistons PG 66-75
Dallas second 5/centre would definitely be DLive! Everyone sleeping on how good he’s gonna be for the Mavs Side note, only cos of the era I watched but Marion, JJ and Brunson have a shout to make the roster
Okay, here are my thoughts on how things would play out. Personally, I'm looking less at individual player achievements (or specific eras), and more on championship wins (or at least successful playoff runs). Western Conference: Lakers gonna make the first seed. GAUR-AN-TEED! Coming in at a close 2nd is the Warriors. 3rd and 4th probably going to either Spurs and/or Thunder. I'm thinking Suns, Rockets, Trailblazers, and Nuggets have got the 5th-8th seeds (any order). Eastern Conference: A LOT harder to figure out. I think Celtics have the strongest case for 1st seed. 2nd-5th seeds probably go to the 76ers, Bulls, Heat, and Knicks (I can't pick which goes to which). 6th-8th seeds... Bucks, Cavaliers and Pistons (Pistons probably 6th). Western Playoffs: Lakers still have the best chance of winning, but I think their only conceivable weakness is having too many clashing personalities (specifically too many players wanting to be the leader, and refusing to be the follower, particularly among the centers). Warriors could have similar problems, though I think to a less significant degree, which could give them an edge. The Spurs are my choice for the dark horse in the west. Not as talented, but with an excellent coach, and better team cohesion, they COULD beat out the rest of the Conference, but that'd be tough. Eastern Playoffs: Tough again, but I'd give the win to the Celtics. While other teams may have similarly skilled players, I think the Celtics have the BEST leadership. Oddly, I think the Heat would give them the most difficulty in the playoffs, even if they beat the Celtics, I don't think they'd win the conference. 76ers probably are the 2nd most stacked, and the Bulls probably have the next best team cohesion (and best coach). I'd say the Pistons are the dark horse of the east, but it is ASTONISHINGLY hard to gauge who would win the playoffs if the Celtics fail. Finals: If both teams play as perfectly as they possibly can, I'd give it to the Lakers, being the more talented team. But if hot heads rise in LA, (and they very well COULD with how much trash talking Bird and McHale would do), the Celtics could become the victors. As it stands, however, I give it a 3-2 in favor of the Lakers.
Where's Bobby Dandridge for the Wizards? He was probably their real best player in that '78 championship run, and in Game 7 of the Conference Finals, he locked up George Gervin down the stretch and sank the game-winning jumpshot too.
Here’s a video idea. An all-time East vs West roster. One player from every team all-time based on fit and not who’s the best. Every player can only be used once. For example, you can use the Cavs version of LeBron but not the Heat version. What do you think???
Man...... The All Time Warriors are too broken even for All Time Celtics & Lakers team to deal with. Starting & Backup are basically the same style. Run & Gun perimeter and Dominant while Flexible interior 🚫💯
Lakers, Celtics, Bulls and Spurs. Warriors too soft and overrated and 1 dimensional. And not enough true all-time great defenders to clamp down the true elite all-timers like Jordan, Magic, Bird, Lebron, Kobe, Shaq, etc. And not versatile enough for my liking either. They're a team that would live and die by their shooting. When they're hot, they could annihilate anyone. But when they're not? They would likely lose to a lot of these rosters. Especially considering some franchises are LOADED with all time great defenders like Bulls, Pistons, and Spurs. Golden State was slowed down and looked in trouble against a Spurs side which basically only had Kahwi! Can you imagine throwing in prime Duncan and Robinson into the mix? They would get killed on the glass and have lots of troubles driving in the lane because while Curry is great at getting to the paint and finishing around the rim, he IS stoppable. He's not literally unstoppable like a Jordan or Kobe or even Derrick Rose at his prime. Those guys were all as skilled or even more AND they were just more athletic and didn't shy away from any contact. And Wilt for me is just a fancy name that looks good on a roster. Same with Bill Russel and players of that era. They come from an era where basketball wasn't a very popular sport and still in it's infancy. And before the merger. Those guys simply wouldn't be dominating the Shaqs and Duncans of this world like they did the guys in their own eras. All due respect. So for me, any players prior to the 80s would be neutralized or flat out clamped down by the super athletes of more modern eras.
Changes I would make for each team: 76ers: Move Moses to 2nd unit PF (To keep defense good on FC instead of Chuck) and put Joel at C with Bobby on rotation, Idk if they need more defense in the 2nd unit; Bucks: Put Dandridge or Glenn at 2nd unit SF instead of Khris; Bulls: Jerry Sloan over Ben Gordon on rotation; Cavaliers: World B. Free out feels kind of criminal; Celtics: no change; Clippers: no change; Grizzlies: no change; Hawks: Probaby Cliff Hagan at SF and Iso Joe at SG with Hughes on rotation, but I'm not sure; Hornets: no change; Heat: Alonzo at starting PF, Bosh as 2nd unit PF and Bam at 2nd unit C; Jazz: Dr. Dunkenstein over Jeff Hornacek or Lauri Markkanen; Kings: Mitch over Fox all day also Sabonis over Boogie; Knicks: Ewing and Reed change positions, Richie Guerin over Allan Houston, who stays over Starks on rotation; Lakers: Kobe at the 3 and Jerry West (for shooting) on 2, with LeBron going to 2nd unit PG; Magic: Swap Horace and Lewis for chemistry probably and if Paolo makes all-star this season he would be better than Vuc; Mavericks: Maybe swap one of the rotation guards for one of the current day bigs; Nets: Kenny Anderson at rotation instead of Michael Ray Richardson; Nuggets: no change; Pacers: Ron Artest over Danny Granger on 2nd unit and Myles Turner over Deletf (for defense); Pelicans: Move Zion to the 3 at starter (this might be glaze), Peja comes at 2nd unit SF, moving Ingram to the 2nd unit SG, as I don't think CJ was as good as he was in Portland. And in the rotation spot, taking CJ totally out of the team and putting Mashburn or Herb Jones for 3&D; Pistons: No Rasheed? I'd put him over Tayshaun; Raptors: Probably putting Andrea Bargnani over Lou Williams, for floor spacing and just having a big on the rotation; Rockets: Maybe Pippen instead of Ron?; Spurs: Remove Rodman, and put LaMarcus at 2nd unit PF, and Artis Gilmore at rotation; Suns: Alvan Adams at 2nd unit C, Shaq moved to rotation and Dan Majerle removed. If it was to take a quick guard who could shoot, might as well take Leandro Barbosa; Thunder: no change; Timberwolves: Defense is already great on starters, I'd swap Gobert with K-Love and have KAT at the 4&Gobert at the 5 in the 2nd unit. Because the starters kinda need some of that K-Love shooting and outlet passing. Trailblazers: no change; Warriors: no change; Wizards: no change.
That Clippers ultimate team be the first team ever to blow a 94-0 lead in the NBA to the Ultimate Hornets Team in the Finals, thats how unlucky and little faith i have in the Clippers.
Yup, for me only the Celtics and Bulls would compete with them and maybe the Spurs. Celtics because they too are overloaded with all-timers...Bulls because they are probably the best defensive side with prime Jordan, Pip, Rodman, and Noah...And they have the best player, scorer and closeout artist in NBA history in MJ and likely the greatest rebounder in Rodman. They also have the best perimeter defense...And insane athleticism and tenacity because of prime Derrick Rose, MJ, Rodman and Pippen. They're versatile. They would be deadly on the breaks because of sheer speed and raw athleticism and finishing ability at the rim, deadly above the rim...And if they somehow get slowed down on their breaks, they have 2 all-time great isolation players in MJ and Rose who can get to the lane at will and finish in a array of ways at the rim even against numerous defenders and they're not afraid of contact. Jordan also has the best midrange game of all-time and can drop fadeaways on a regular basis against anyone. 3 point shooting wise they're not the very best, but that's why you have Steve Kerr and Kukoc on the bench to help with that if need be. But imo there wouldn't be the need, because they can hurt you and dominate you in so many other ways. Their interior defense and rebounding is all-time great. Rodman is the greatest rebounder of the last 35 years and was probably the only player I've seen neutralize a prime Shaq. They could use better scorers in their bigs, but again, they don't really need it considering they have MJ who is the greatest scorer in history and have Rose just for good measure. Those guys can literally get buckets at will, against anyone, in a variety of different ways. And just like the real life 90s Bulls...Teams would be focused on stopping MJ and Pippen (and add Rose) so the bigs would hardly ever face double teams, and in fact would be open on a good chunk of plays for easy guaranteed baskets. And the Spurs I put in there because they too are incredible defensively and would play the right way. Duncan, prime Robinson, Kahwi, Manu, Tony Parker, George Gervin, Horry...This would be a tough out for anyone even the Lakers and Celtics. Not as star studded and fancy, but a pest to play against and very versatile. Plus, having too many super stars like Lakers and Celtics might actually be detrimental as it will affect chemistry and team spirit...Too many egos and players who would demand the ball goes through them. Can you really picture guys like Shaq or Kobe taking a backseat to Lebron or vice versa? It's not very likely. Whereas the Bulls and Spurs rosters just feel right. And a lot of their players actually played together so we don't have to assume they would have chemistry, we already know they would because they proved it in real life. Most of the Bulls roster is from the MJ era and most of the Spurs roster is from the Duncan era. Where as the Lakers and Celtics rosters are more spread apart.
For the Rockets: Move Harden to the starting PG and Murphy to the bench. Put Drexler at the starting SG. Hayes should could replace Sampson at the starting PF. Also, Rudy T. could take the place of Artest.
Those late 90s Jazz and their free throw shenanigans. Remember whem the opposing fans used to count down from 10 seconds for Malone? Count like really fast. And then boo the refs when they didnt call a plus 10 second free throw penalty? Lol. Them Hornacek with his cheek touch "I love" you to his wife and kids. That was nice. Wholesome white guys... Reminds me of that story when the Dream Team bus was mobbed by fans and they were all stuck on the bus and Stockton was like, "Well boys, hate to leave you this tough spot but this is where I get off." Players are like, "Youll get mobbed... Wait what are we saying? Short white guy. Hell just walk right past. Damn him!" Just got of the bus and started walking around with his wife and kids and a camcorder playing tourist. Has home movies of him asking people wearing Dream Team T-shirts you their favorite player is. His kid points to an airbrushed picture of Stockton. "Thats my dad." "Oh are you on the team?" All polite and sht. Like hes the water boy. Meanwhile hes hot his camcorder out and his wife on his hip and his kid on his shoulders and all the other guys are looking out of the bus at him like, "that son of a btch." "Sorry guys youve taken advantage of your height and athleticism enough against me. Nows my time.to shine." Hilarious.
If the sixers don't win straight out, they have got to at least end up in the top four because this team can hurt you when every single way. They really have no weaknesses at all. Like their weakest thing they have going for them on the team is their three-point shooting but they still have it covered so. Depending on whether these people are playing in modern rules and the three balls going to be emphasized super heavy and the floor spreading is going to be real heavy. Then that will probably balance out their ability to not sweep everybody. But if we were playing old school ball with this team, I don't really think there's anyone that can beat him honestly.

How Rasheed Wallace isn't on the Pistons is beyond me. You really dropped the ball on that one he's not even on the honorable mentions list 🤯

Awesome series Johnny
Loved watching this series. It'd also be interesting to see you, in a future video, select the coaches for these teams.
Facts coaching will be key for this.
But i would like for Johnny to put a caveat with the coaching like coaches who coached multiple teams can only be used by 1 team.
Like Pat Riley, Phil Jackson, Doc Rivers etc....
Coaches for some rosters:
In no order...
Lakers - Riley
Bulls - Phil
Heat - Spo
Warriors - Kerr
Celtics - Red
Spurs - Pop
Rockets - Rudy T
Jazz - Sloan
Raptors - Nurse
Thank you for this series it was very informative and interesting to watch def one of my favorite series on the channel excited for the 2k sim
This is the greatest video about the nba I've ever seen
Already time to do a playoff series of these teams
We will finally get to see the "you reach, I teach!" commerical with young and old MJ!
There's literally no weakness on the warriors squad. Size, rebounding, shooting, defense.
interior play isnt the greatest.
oh right. Wilt.
@@soramirez5473 with Nate backing him up, plus Berry at the 3
Wilt and curry is imo the best Fantasy duo of all time
Wilt was a TREMENDOUS off ball player...you couldn't keep him of the the offensive glass, ...you either had to foul him on the put back or just let him get the high % tap in or dunk off...the amount of 2nd chance opportunities...he was also an amazing touch passer...the off ball movement of curry + wilts passing IQ?!?!?... crazy and let's lot forget about his endurance and speed ..hes such a huge and fast target on the fast break AND he can do it for almost the entire game...those who are faster than him more than likely aren't strong enough to contest him...and those strong enough to contest him probably aren't fast enough (or have the endurance) to get in front of him consistently
Spurs defense would be unbelievable, among every franchise they’re prob top 5 for all-time teams
Bulls and Spurs have the best defensive lineups here, and I'd give the Bulls the nod for best overall defensive team. But the Spurs are right behind them defensively
@@whodat787 Bulls over the Pistons you reckon?
Overall yes. Strictly defensively I would still say yes. However, I would put the Pistons' very best defensive lineup of Thomas, Dumars, Prince, Rodman, and Wallace barely over the Spurs Defensively. It's super close tho. But they're all still behind the Bulls defensively. The Bulls can literally put out a lineup of Jordan, Jimmy Butler, Pippen, Rodman, and DPOY Joakim Noah. No team can match that versatility defensively, especially on the perimeter
I'd love to hear some arguments otherwise tho, because the potential defensive lineups the Bulls, Spurs, and Pistons could throw out there are crazy

Maybe I should watch the whole series again to see which player has appeared in more Ultimate teams, I my mind doesn't fail, I think is KD or Lebron.
I think it’s Moses based on my memory, shaq obviously made a few teams also. Let me know!
I love you and this Chanel so much
Honestly it’s either the Lakers or the Warriors. Lakers have better depth of talent but the Warriors have the best fit.
That warriors starting 5 is absolutely incredible. They may all want the ball, but wow.
Steph and Klay are incredible off ball movers, and KD is pretty great at that himself, ball dominance won’t be an issue here.

As a Raptors fan it hurts a little :P Also the West was deffinetly harder to rank for me.
Teams that would give warriors trouble might be:
Lakers
Celtics
Jazz
76ers
Nuggets (that roster can average 200/game)
- you should add warriors as stand alone video Jonny

Are you still doing the 2k tournament?
Yep! It’s gonna be a bit until we’re ready. I gotta pick all the coaches, making sure we have the right capture card, gotta create the rosters, gotta create the players who are not in 2k, etc. I promise you it’s in the works though 👍
@@jonnyarnett your work does not go underappreciated!

All speculation but it's still fun to think about.
Amazing video! Imo i would put kd at the 3 and draymond at 4. Simply because wilt needs some help defending shaq and kareem at the same time.
Can't believe the series is finally over
first off; I love your stuff and don’t profess to know more than you for sure. AND I was a Cavs fan in the 70s and 80s and don’t really pay much attention, since then. BUT the Hot Rod Williams I remember would be my starter. Also, I have such a soft spot for Brewer at power forward.
I think Jalen Brunson has warranted a spot off the bench of the Knicks team
Epic!
Good afternoon!😊😊
when will you upload the 2k simulation? im very hyped
I think a small interesting addition to this would be doing a coach for each team as well
Would you change some of your picks for players after this season? Brunson on the Knicks, harden on the clippers?
Yeah, for sure. Brunson and Harden, and even Dame would get a spot on the Bucks.
@@jonnyarnettWho would you replace on these teams with them though?
Any chance you might be willing to do a WhatIfSports simulation as well?
Kyle Kuzma on the honorable mentions alone tells you a lot about that wizards team
Shaq starting at center instead of Kareem or Wilt is pretty ballzie....
I have some major disagreements, especially including Dominique Wilkins on the Clippers roster (I feel like players should at least play one full season with a team to be considered), but I appreciate all the work you put into this. Still a fun watch.
Just give the warriors team the chip lol
@johnnyarnett what happened to the NBA 2k simulation for this u made like 30videos since then . The season has been over . come on man whats going on???

Kyrie with only 20 games? There should have been a "minimum-games-with" rule...or a more strict one
you should put this in 2k and see how it goes
Who’s the best player not on a team?
The only players from NBA's Top 75 not on a team in this series are:
George Mikan: Lakers C 47-56
Dolph Schayes: 76ers PF 49-64
Bill Sharman: Celtics SG 51-61
Dave Bing: Pistons PG 66-75
Dallas second 5/centre would definitely be DLive! Everyone sleeping on how good he’s gonna be for the Mavs
Side note, only cos of the era I watched but Marion, JJ and Brunson have a shout to make the roster
I thought this was the simulation and was worried where the warriors and wizards went lmao!
76ers are underrated imagine AI, Dr J, & Wilt together alone
Westbrook deserves a starting spot on the sonics/thunder segment.
Johnny I would love to see a video of each franchise best year/team.
Is the 2k simulation on some other channel that I dont know about?
Where's Bobby Dandridge for the Wizards? He was probably their real best player in that '78 championship run, and in Game 7 of the Conference Finals, he locked up George Gervin down the stretch and sank the game-winning jumpshot too.
This is interesting, many teams have great Alltime Legend teams but I believe the Lakers would win an alltime Tournament
Magic Johnson + Kobe Bryant + Shaq O'Neal would mean 10 years of dinasty
Out of curiosity, who would you pick to be the head coaches for each of these teams?
I’ll be going over the list of coaches when we do the 2k simulation video 👍
Warriors, Celtics, Lakers. Definitely my top three. Any of them could win it.
Moses Malone was a very slept on
When you do the 2k roster, are you gonna have 13 man rotations or just 10
Changes I would make for each team:
76ers: Move Moses to 2nd unit PF (To keep defense good on FC instead of Chuck) and put Joel at C with Bobby on rotation, Idk if they need more defense in the 2nd unit;
Bucks: Put Dandridge or Glenn at 2nd unit SF instead of Khris;
Bulls: Jerry Sloan over Ben Gordon on rotation;
Cavaliers: World B. Free out feels kind of criminal;
Celtics: no change;
Clippers: no change;
Grizzlies: no change;
Hawks: Probaby Cliff Hagan at SF and Iso Joe at SG with Hughes on rotation, but I'm not sure;
Hornets: no change;
Heat: Alonzo at starting PF, Bosh as 2nd unit PF and Bam at 2nd unit C;
Jazz: Dr. Dunkenstein over Jeff Hornacek or Lauri Markkanen;
Kings: Mitch over Fox all day also Sabonis over Boogie;
Knicks: Ewing and Reed change positions, Richie Guerin over Allan Houston, who stays over Starks on rotation;
Lakers: Kobe at the 3 and Jerry West (for shooting) on 2, with LeBron going to 2nd unit PG;
Magic: Swap Horace and Lewis for chemistry probably and if Paolo makes all-star this season he would be better than Vuc;
Mavericks: Maybe swap one of the rotation guards for one of the current day bigs;
Nets: Kenny Anderson at rotation instead of Michael Ray Richardson;
Nuggets: no change;
Pacers: Ron Artest over Danny Granger on 2nd unit and Myles Turner over Deletf (for defense);
Pelicans: Move Zion to the 3 at starter (this might be glaze), Peja comes at 2nd unit SF, moving Ingram to the 2nd unit SG, as I don't think CJ was as good as he was in Portland. And in the rotation spot, taking CJ totally out of the team and putting Mashburn or Herb Jones for 3&D;
Pistons: No Rasheed? I'd put him over Tayshaun;
Raptors: Probably putting Andrea Bargnani over Lou Williams, for floor spacing and just having a big on the rotation;
Rockets: Maybe Pippen instead of Ron?;
Spurs: Remove Rodman, and put LaMarcus at 2nd unit PF, and Artis Gilmore at rotation;
Suns: Alvan Adams at 2nd unit C, Shaq moved to rotation and Dan Majerle removed. If it was to take a quick guard who could shoot, might as well take Leandro Barbosa;
Thunder: no change;
Timberwolves: Defense is already great on starters, I'd swap Gobert with K-Love and have KAT at the 4&Gobert at the 5 in the 2nd unit. Because the starters kinda need some of that K-Love shooting and outlet passing.
Trailblazers: no change;
Warriors: no change;
Wizards: no change.
That Clippers ultimate team be the first team ever to blow a 94-0 lead in the NBA to the Ultimate Hornets Team in the Finals, thats how unlucky and little faith i have in the Clippers.

Please do a simulation or something similar where all these teams face off to see who would be the winner.
I honestly think that the only teams that could compete against the Warriors, are the Celtics and Spurs. The best offense vs the best defense.
A lot of incredible teams, butt none comes close to the Lakers one. The city of Angels is way too stacked, 6+ top fifteen players of all time!
Lol. Butt!! 😂
Reminds me of that story when the Dream Team bus was mobbed by fans and they were all stuck on the bus and Stockton was like, "Well boys, hate to leave you this tough spot but this is where I get off."
Players are like, "Youll get mobbed... Wait what are we saying? Short white guy. Hell just walk right past. Damn him!"
Just got of the bus and started walking around with his wife and kids and a camcorder playing tourist. Has home movies of him asking people wearing Dream Team T-shirts you their favorite player is. His kid points to an airbrushed picture of Stockton. "Thats my dad."
"Oh are you on the team?"
All polite and sht. Like hes the water boy. Meanwhile hes hot his camcorder out and his wife on his hip and his kid on his shoulders and all the other guys are looking out of the bus at him like, "that son of a btch."
"Sorry guys youve taken advantage of your height and athleticism enough against me. Nows my time.to shine."
Hilarious.
For the record, I'm talking about the 76ers
