The new Triumph Tiger 1200 models for 2024 in the test - All issues resolved?

- After the introduction of the Triumph Tiger 1200 in 2022, the first major update is now coming in 2024. The excellently equipped flagship models from the Triumph Adventure range leave little to be desired. But there has always been criticism of the details. Triumph's development department has spent the last two years listening and making direct improvements. 1000PS was allowed to test ride all 4 models in Scotland. Thank you very much, we are now very satisfied!

Where's the Tiger 1200 Sport, Triumph? 120 degree crank and 17-inch wheels, please.
Reciently bought a left over 23 Tiger 1200 GT Explorer & man the list of standard features is impressive…even 90deg valve stems! Frickin awesome Triumph. Glad they addressed the T-Plane vibes, would love to demo a 24
Looks like the Dukes Pass near Aberfoyle, I have 2023 Rally Explorer which works well on Scottish roads
2 questions, lowest seat height on rally pro and GT Pro,? If I want to check the air filter after a dusty road, do I need to remove the fuel tank from the bike?
Always remember, the Tiger was always a Rally before it was a GT.
Good review, the GT PRO would suit me with heated seats, the Scottish Borders are my local roads😀👍
Thank you for your overview and impressions.
My actual 2022 rally pro is almost perfect. The only gripe I have with it is its horrible low speed throttle response, is so laggy sometimes it is unacceptable. If this got solved on this new model, this will be definitely the best bike of all time, for me.
I tried a 2024 GT Pro a few days ago and can sadly report that the low-speed fuelling isn’t perfect. Can’t compare as it was my first try on a Tiger 12 though.
@@TeslasSecret Really? That's horrible news. Coming from the flawless 800xc im considering something more nimble and with better throttle response. If triumph didn't correct this issue maybe I will get a 900rp.
@@dafebeme2 It’s still a great bike, but the fuelling isn’t brilliant. That may be exacerbated by driveline lash. I’ll take it on a longer test next week, I’m hesitating between a T12 Gt Pro and a Multistrada V4s. Multi V4 is amazing.
GT Explorer will be my next bike. I have the 2017 Explorer XRT - Triumph has been killing it!
Does the software update make changes on the ride height on the 900 gt pro?
im torn between this and a 1250 gs 😥
The GT models will be sold in 3rd world countries like india, phillipines, thailand etc. They do not get the GT Pro models.
They can afford $15k bikes?
@@logangodofcandy u underestimate indians a lot..
"3rd World" that's not correct, we are the developing world unlike the decaying developed world. C'mon, use appropriate words
Very german commentary
Not bad for Austrians though
A triple should be turbine smooth with 120 degree firing order not this abomination, shame on you Hinkley.
Agreed!
The GS will continue to dominate this segment and in a few years when it comes time to redesign, triumph better make some good decisions and remember what people want.
