That picture of it sitting on a wall is a really good example of a massive design flaw. You could hit a tiny speed bump, or just a fuckin' rock, and the platform would smash into it and get fucked up.
I had one of these like 10 years ago when I was a kid. It was basically a scooter with bigger rubber tires. I bought it for like 5 bucks at a farmer's market.

Easy. Get a small sized ramp, and ride the bike down. Stay stable.
I didn't learn the bike until this year, but just keep practicing with someone holding the back of the bike lightly until you can let go. and going faster helps keep the balance on the bike, so dont let the person pushing you go too slow. it's easy to stop it with the brakes or landing on your feet if you fall so dont worry about that.
The dubstep at the end brings back memories.

It'd be a good idea to have an add on that turns it into a bike. The add on has the seat and the gears all as one piece, you just have to put the seat where you would put your feet on without the add on, and then put the chain on the back wheel. And voilà you have a bike that can turn into a kick bike!

I had one when i was a child. It was one my grand grandpa made himself about 60 years ago. In Europe they are really common, i would be surprised if the reviewer was just paid review. I literally know noone that never seen that thing (don't know the english word, we call it like wheel runner if you would translate it)
when i was a kid in switzerland we had "trotinettes" basicli scooters with small bicycle wheels. then the microscooters came and now everybody calls them scooters. even my grandparents had trotinettes. so we had "kickbikes" for far over 100 years.
