When I bought my first Subaru back in 2016, it was surprising how many surveys they mailed out asking about EVERYTHING. I have never dealt with a car manufacturer that took so much time to read it's customers. It's easy to see why there's so much brand loyalty for Subaru. I love driving my 3.6L Legacy.
I’ve owned 4 Subarus. Currently own a 2018 WRX. This looks good. The new WRX is terrible and the cancellation of the STI is a slap in the face of your loyal sport car fan base. Hope someone at Subaru Corporate reads this.
Thank you Japan for making such beautiful and wonderful safe vehicles for us here in America I love my 2021 Crosstrek limited we also had a 21 Forester that we recently sold. Both vehicles were made in Japan which I'm so happy for cars made here in America just not as good as Japan cars are thank you for making them there and making them safe I appreciate everything you guys do for us have a blessed day.
Heard the tyre crunching noise...get ready to hear the same noise at amplified pitch once you are in the cabin....multiply it over 365 days....it will drive you bonkers...received this gift when I bought a Subaru Forester 2019 in Malaysia...
If it's the same engine mounted to a CVT and no choice of manual (at least), then I don't even care anymore. Subaru had played this card way too many times already. Used to be a fan - not anymore. Don't care about newly shaped pieces of metal on top of the same machinery over the recent years. (And the fact it's "another" SUV again just makes me roll eyes)
I had 2 Subaru cars a Forester 2013 it was of good built but the engine was problematic always overheated and the radiator cracked. The other was a Impreza very good never had a problem with it. I hope the new generation has better performance and not as thirst to run. Good luck. 🇦🇺
@@neometalx9 commuting to work mainly and weekend getaways .. a pain in the neck it was. Even the Dealership said that the radiators are very thinly made and it can happen but mainly due to shocks or slight compression. Happy l don’t have it anymore.
Looks like a beefed up Focus ST, I love it. I'm more Forester and Outback fan.. but where are hybrid versions, and why not Turbo for the US Forester... please the wait is killing me
That company had its head up its ass for a few years now. I don't see it changing anytime soon. Sales numbers are way down. No STI. Lame engines across the board....
This looked more like a review of the car and how it made him feel emotionally, literally when you have to extend the word limit to an essay. And literally not saying anything
The only thing I ask is that you please put in LED turn signals for all your vehicles I have to upgrade mine every time I get a new one so please upgrade that to all LEDs for the new cars coming out in 24 that would be so nice thanks.
ikr. Who the hell looks at a 1:1 clay model of this and goes "oh hey hello beautiful". no one. No one in their right mind with a set of working eyes would say that.
Subaru had a brilliant car recipe in their book, but they never cooked it: Crosstrek with WRX powertrain, manual transmission, and better handling. Give it a mean rally/offroadish look and it would fly off the dealer's lots. Instead, it is all the same lethargic engine with a lawnmower soundtrack, CVT and ugly huge screen. The exterior is very uneven: really nice at some angles and quite ugly from others
@@tooquick240 Doesn't matter, actually: we bought Mazda CX-30 Turbo, and Subaru lost a sale and loyal customers. New WRX is a big disappointment too, so I'm keeping my 2017 WRX for now. Finally, they say the new Crosstrek won't be available with the manual and there goes the last reason to buy another Subaru.
Subaru can appeal much better to the younger and/or female crowd if they improve the interiors. Just look at their compatriots Honda and Mazda, just stunning. Love the drivetrain, but most people don’t know that.
Soooo much marketing hype. Good Lord. Groovy hype, but still. The tangibles are kind of hard to dig out of the philosophizing and appeals to sentiment, but nonetheless seem real enough: some shape changes, structural changes to make it quieter, better seats (VERY good move, as Subaru has been running last on lumbar support), some new or at least enhanced camera/safety technology, a bigger screen and apparently sharpened up ergonomics/placement of controls. But these are not revolutionary. We are all dying to see a really good hybrid, possibly a wilderness trim, more power, amazing mileage. A really powerful hybrid would be quite something, and other makes are getting there. Hope Soob does too.
How about an FA20/24DIT with 6 MT and a manually pulled handbrake without that big screen in the middle to lessen distraction. Plus no amount of safety can replace driver awareness on the road. 29:48, driver looks passed out going 80kph on the road. I understand there's some cases that this can save lives, but these technologies is used wrong most of the time. Seen it so many times.
So do you think maybe you can fix the issues with the screen freezing and blacking out on my brand new outback? It’s frustrating to be sold a car that relies so much on electronics that don’t work.
since when is crosstrek a new SUV??? its in the market for quite some time now... the title of the video should be redesigned crosstrek reveal and not NEW SUV world premiere
