This video provides a wonderful introduction to the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, especially focusing on Madhu Kanda, which guides us through deep spiritual insights. While it's fascinating to see the connections with the Shatapatha Brahmana, I believe the real charm lies in its mystical approach that isn’t just about philosophical rigor, but about internal transformation. This Upanishad has a unique way of simplifying the complexity of reality, yet it challenges us to delve into the silent wisdom of the forest within. How do you think the teachings of the Madhu Kanda can be applied to our modern, fast-paced lives?
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 6.4.7 If she is not willing, he should buy her over; and if she is still unyielding, he should strike her with a stick or with the hand and proceed, uttering the following Mantra, 'I take away your reputation,' etc. She is then actually discredited. and the likes of it, how are you going to reconcile with it? I'm trying to find answers to it with no luck yet, please answer me when you have or get a genuine one. Thanks, Pradeep.
ua-cam.com/video/mt_duVfX_58/v-deo.html I take away your reputation by ensuring that I won't mate with you and in absence of children your old age won't be comfortable. And the thing about stick is a misintepretation. Dhamki dene ko bola gya, aur wo bhi ye dhamki ki sex nhi dunga.
Brahm toh Vishva ki Atma hai, it is the soul of the world, of the entire creation. Usi Brahm say srishti nikalti aur phailti hai aur usi Brahm mein jakar vah phir vileen ho jati hai, usme jakar merge ho jati hai. Very Simply put Brahm is the ALMIGHTY ALL POWERFUL GOD.
As I understand it the Asvamedha or horse sacrifice is symbolically supposed to be a contemplation Brahm, the Supreme, where the various parts of the horse are compared to the cosmic phenomena and bodies that are but representations of some of the aspects of the limitless Brahm.
I heard in a explanation that aswva is symbolic to kingdom(just like the horse travels without any obstacle worldwide, the kingdom will also be spread worldwide and that particular king performing the yaggya will be the owner of the whole world),medh means prosperity.so aswvamedh yaggya means the yaggya that is performed for the prosperity of the kingdom.Similarly Go means prithvi(aside from other 8 meaning),nara means human.so gomedh, naramedh yaggya means yaggya that is performed for the prosperity of prithvi and humankind.
Need clarification, "If she does not willingly yield her body to him, he should buy her with presents. If she is still unyielding, he should strike her with a stick or with his hand and overcome her, repeating the following mantra: "With power and glory I take away your glory." Brihadaarnyaka Upanishad 6.4.7

MY PRANAMS
I still couldn't figure out,, what that ashav really is , is it our relation to this world.

Can you post some details on Aham Brahsmi. How will I get it.
This Mahavakya occurs in the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad itself in a later part . I will check and let you know in which part it occurs. Regards.
thank you sir
