i really appreciate that! took a look of tweaking to get the settings to look properly good without compromising fps! definitely gonna be making more of these style of videos soon 🙏🏼
why do i feel like in every VR video the camera is to high and to the left or right, is it like that when you are playing? or is just like that when u record it
@@noahriske9620 aah that makes sense, i always wanted a VR but every video i saw with VR in simracing looks that way haha, i thought it was like that when you play
great race, i recommend decreasing the VAO setting in pure to stop the track from getting so dark. Also your setup is so weirdly budgeted its crazy. G29 with a 3090 lmao
yeah man, i built all my stuff in increments haha. i got my g29 like 4 years ago on my first pc build with a 1060 and a r5 2600. then i redid everything and built my new pc for a 3060 but a few months in i snagged a good deal on my 3090 so i bit the bullet and got it. this is an older video too, a few months ago i upgraded to the csl dd with boost kit, csl pedals, and triple screens. next upgrade is a new mobo & cpu to match the 3090 since that’s not what they were meant for 😂
i could not recommend vr upscaling enough. its literally a game changer. on assetto i was having a similar issue and never getting over 50fps until i tried vrperfkit and now its at 80-90 fps with little to no visual impact. i have all the links for it with a tutorial in my linktree if you wanna give it a shot 🙌🏼 hopefully assetto corsa evo will be vr compatible out the box and have much better optimization
Damn, how is your recording so sharp and smooth? Also you clearly have gfx settings on high, with those awesome reflections on the dash and car windows etc. I think I have reflections off or something. Mine looks nothing like this. Getting locked 90fps ain't easy. Edit: and you achieved this with only a 5600x and 3090? I have 5900x and 3080 to, so reasonably similar. No way I could get a recording to look this good.
@@wotever99ninynine i gotta drop an updated settings video to explain everything in there. but trust me assetto does not play well in vr with everything on. i found an upscaling tool called vrperfkit and dropped the files into assetto’s root folder. there’s a document that you can use in there to change all the different upscaling settings including foveated rendering, different scaling methods, etc. that allowed me to run ac at almost high-max settings with an actual increase in performance to 85-90 fps
@@acwill hmm, I'm currently running assetto Corsa with open composite for wmr (hp reverb g2) so I'm using open xr toolkit, which has the same settings as vrperfit as far as I know. Perhaps I should test going back to open vr/ steam vr and try the tool you are using. My in game visuals look very crisp, but my recordings never do.
@@wotever99ninynine keep in mind, i’m recording everything using nvidia’s built in overlay recording at 4k 60fps 120 bit rate. i found i get the best quality using that. obs is too heavy
sweet! finally some really good looking vr with great racing

Man, I love the chaos at first. Online servers in akina are amazing 😂😂
In love with these man - keep up. I do similar but on fr legends

It's because it only records one eye so in this case the left eye while the driver obviously sees from both eyes so it looks normal

I think when it get recorded it only captures the display from one eyes. I noticed it to

have my like for the nice driving :P
Despite of the pressure from much faster paced car, leader held it tightly. Beautiful battle.
Damn. I wish my game looked this good in VR. I have a 2060 and the original HTC Vive so I only get 40 fps at 720p
