Watching this channel grow from a guy on a roof with trash metal and some brass into what you do now is inspiring to anyone who crafts that you can start small and grow into something more. Well done, the hammer looks amazing. That thing must weigh a ton!
I doubtful you'll ever see this but i want to thank you. You're the reason i wanted to be in metalworking, i was gonna be a welder until i got an ICD implant and it's far too unsafe, but being a smith is an option and what i wanted to do as a hobby either way You are the reason I'm going to personally defy odds to do this, thank you
Thank you for putting a dark screen on welding... Extremely appreciate that I don't have to hide the screen from my thumb... Try testing out with different screens. I've seen someone use a green filter screen and it works better than grey imo. Thank you again!
It looks amazing... but I am concerned that the narrow wood attachment to the head might break off with any significant hit. I suppose it is just for display mostly but...
@@K20TypeR Why? Nothing he could do with the handle would make it other than a prop too heavy to use or wield. Or did you miss how he had to choke up the handle just to lift it up and hit the ground. This is a mantle/wall display. It is not a tool or weapon. Hell, I can tell by looking at it it's heavier than any sledgehammer or maul I've ever used. And by more than just a little.
@RepentandbelieveinJesusChrist. Matthew 6:1-6 King James Version 6 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. 5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. your own fictional character of hate and ignorance even tells you to keep it to yourself. you should listen ;).
Good job! But if this is for display only you have no problem. I think that if you use it constantly to break wood apart, that little tiny bit of wood you left at the end of the metal is gonna break big time 😅 too small for such a big weight though. Good luck!
I don’t think I’ve ever commented on anything in my life. I have no social media. You my friend are an incredible artist and man. If you are ever in west Michigan. Please come to one of my gyms (AFC). Thank you for your effort and time. A true artisan. Just wow.
... And as soon as one gets used, it'll break? ... I'm not denying the craftsmanship -- the metal would have so much more strength if it were actually forged and hardened. I've never made a hammer, so maybe you don't want that, but you ABSOLUTELY should forge and harden an axe head. Like if a person is going to go to these lengths, may as well go whole hog right? Again, not a criticism of the craftsmanship or project planning or effort that went into these; just a thought on how to make them ... functional?
Beautiful work, my friend! Thank you for sharing your talents. This is a beast! In your professional opinion, what would it have taken for something of this mass to be hand forged in the old days? How did those smiths handle this type of massive work? Amazing video, thank you!
Such a beautiful, wonderful, spot-on, perfect build of Stormbreaker!! I applaud you on the perfect authenticity!! I give you the deepest respect for this fantastic accomplishment and achievement!! More please
Ur EXTREMELY gifted!!!! ❤❤❤❤ ❤ the channel!! I wanted 2 pursue metal/wood working, after my kids became adults, well my yongest turns 21 this year & this past March, on my oldest daughters 25th b-day, she was told she has cancer!! With ALL the chaos & saddness going on N my life, watchung ur videos lets me drift away, N2 ur workshop.....no drs, no sickness, no bills, no nothing but metal/wood working!! ❤❤❤❤ THANK YOU!! ❤❤❤😂😂❤❤
Arguably what an amazing job you did and I believe I can speak for all your supporters and say, you did an amazing job 4.7k likes are not worth the amount of love you deserve for such an amazing job however, it's not just the work you did, but the editing was on point and I can't praise you enough for your hard work as well as your editing skills! I sincerely hope to see more in the future-keep it up, bruh!
The first of your videos that I saw was Captain America’s shield, which was astounding. This stormbreaker project was no less so. I subscribe to precious few channels, so take it as a sincere compliment that I’ve chosen to follow you. Truly impressive!
The axehead (and handle) are much smaller than the MCU Stormbreaker, but they are remarkable replicas. Certainly, 1:1 would make it even more unwieldy. Great craftsmanship! Thanks for sharing!
I applaud the modern blacksmith.👏 What I'm amazed by is the machine tools beside the crafting of Thor's Stormbreaker. The drilling, grinding and welding by those tools are enjoyable to watch. On another note, It would be fun to watch those metal dust get picked up by a magnet instead of sweeping them. 🧲 Just saying.
Hi bro. I have a suggestion for you, to make the cleaning process fast you can use electric temporary magnets, those with on off switch, this will make it super easy. BTW I love your videos thank you for making them
Don't give up on your dreams guys, and remember why you wanted to do it in the first place, if you put your mind to it you can do anything ☺️😜😉😁😄🙂 Just a daily dose of inspiration if you needed it

What‘s an ICD implant?
google it or somethin
It's a cardio device for heart regulation I think. I'm guessing the risk of electric shock is too great if he's a welder?@@BenjiGrand
Like a pacemaker
Man can forge a blade from his enemies blood 💀
Random hands isn't random now. 🔥👍

So now it’s just hands

No longer random hands, now Well Known Hands

Впечатляет не только сложность и качество работы, но и как поставлено видео: ничего лишнего и в логической последовательности. Браво, Маэстро!

Рукоятка - уета. Взял из сучков. Место крепления - спичечное. Дрянь. Чисто декор

Your level of craftsmanship amazes me. Keep up the good work.
Outstanding craftsmanship! 👏
Foi o trabalho manual mais bem feito na história do UA-cam! Parabéns 🎉🎉🎉🎉
It looks amazing... but I am concerned that the narrow wood attachment to the head might break off with any significant hit. I suppose it is just for display mostly but...
yeah, even RH calls it a prop.
Yeh I see what you mean. Maybe having a larger opening and a thicker wood head would have been the way to go. Beautiful work though

while it does look smaller than the movie version I do understand that it would be far too heavy if it were that big. Incredible work otherwise
gotta use uru its magical properties make it lighter of course ;)
he could make it with alluminum or titanium, iron and steel are heavy.

fantastic
At full size we simply lack the strength to wield it. Our bodies would crumble as our minds collapsed into madness
