We later learned that the train came through ahead of schedule, so we had gotten there too late. We finally gave up. We headed east. Caught it stationary at Mineola.
I recall that stationary stop with the sky looking so gray in that direction even though it was clear that morning. I remember how disappointed I was at the photos didn't look as good as I would've hoped from that perspective.

How fast did he get up to the entire trip?
There was one stretch where the Timetable was 70 and that was where we were no able to catch it again. but for the most part it was 50 - 65.
