  • The Sord M5 is a home computer launched by Sord Computer Corporation in 1982. The Sord M5 had no really great success outside Japan (and later Czechoslovakia) but had lot of interesting characteristics, very close to MSX computers released soon after.

This really highlights the limitations of the TMS9918 video chip. It's even more sorely inflexible than the NES video chip. All the games look the same, and look the same as other systems that use the same video chip (MSX, Colecovision, Ti 99/4A, and so on).

Some of that games are pretty good like Galax, Tank Battalion and Super Cobra. Bosconian game reminds me a XKobo (today that game is named Kobo Deluxe) game that I played a lot under Red Hat Linux years ago.

I announced a vote. Most of the votes were cast for MSX. There are a lot of interesting games.
